On A snowy night, I took shelter in A cave.
Cold and alone I lay on the floor, shivering.
Deep in depression from being alone and on my own.

I here something, coming towards the cave entrance.
Is it A threat, should I be worried?
I hear it get closer and closer moving slowly.

I am scared, nothing should be out in this blizzard.
But a predator, coming after me.
so I await for my fate to be sealed.

It peers it's head into the cave, it is a she!
And she is another gray wolf, looking for a home.
She looks into my eyes, I look into hers.

She notices i'm shivering, with a sympathetic grin.
She comes closer,I become nervous and she can tell.
Something inside me tells me, I must not worry.

She moves slowly behind me, not to make me jump.
She lays down behind me, chest on my back.
She is shivering too, but she it warm on my back.

I whisper,"Are you alone too?"
She moves her head and lays it on top of mine.
She whispers in my ear,"I'm not anymore."

Hearing this made me happy, and she could tell.
She nuzzles as close as she could to me.
Her tail covered mine, and our legs were together.

The next morning, I awoke to a pain in my ear.
She was nibbling on it, it was nice.
It was still snowing outside the cave.

I was glad she was still here, I asked why.
She stopped nibbling on my ear and smiled a bit.
"I'm not just going to leave you here alone."she said.

I was happy she wasn't going to leave me.
I turned and held my face against her's.
She hugged me tight, she knew I was hers.
