I look into your eyes and I see
hope and fear.
I want to reach out and hug you and
tell you I'm near.
All I want is for you to
love me.
To touch me, to hold me and tell me
you care, for only me.
I don't want to move fast,
so you go slow.
We sit and talk, until
the night winds blow.
Midnight arrives, as I
arrive home.
You give me one last kiss, and
leave me standing alone.
I lie in my bed, wishing
you were here.
And fall asleep alone, hugging
my teddy bear.
