Every time I see you, you steal my breath. And those are the moments I yearn for. Those first moments when our eyes meet in emotional collision and I can’t draw in my breath because my lungs burn and refuse work.

The times I find myself losing control and the ability to reason is taken away. The times I am frozen in your eyes and become a servant to your heart. It is a sweet submission and I gladly give in.

My heart races and I feel my head swoon. Heavy and light at the same time.

Everything falls away until there is only you.

My sight grows dim until even you begin to fade. My eyes flutter and there is a tightness as my throat closes, the burning becomes unbearable.

And just before I lose consciousness I feel your mouth against mine and the air rushes back in, filling me. Cool and quenching. You replenish me... it is the most satisfying drink that ever touches my lips.

And it makes me realize that without you I would die... You are my soul. You keep me alive.

You complete me.
