I want you
Yet, I stand here frozen
Watching my chances slip away
Like sand between my fingers

I know what I have to do
Yet I am afraid to do it
Cause if the answer is no
I'll never see you again

Would it be safer to watch you
To watch you from afar
Always wonderin about
What could have been

I want to see you
I want to be with you
Cause you make me a better person
Than I already am

I know what has to be done
The time is now
For it may never come again
Time for you and me to be together
