yes, but at what cost?

Languished lovers lateral loins linger,
     Moaning, but not touching.
Meaningful gazes search for the secrets
Of the most private of all unions

Hardened head, knocks at moist, wet lips
“Hold my eyes as I penetrate”.
Matching sighs, thrusting thighs
     Touching, but not moaning

Pinnacles cum within view,
     As sight disappears.
“Feel me now, as I feel you”
     :impossible due to feelings:

The push, the clench, toes curl enmasse
     The cost is spent.
In desire we trust,
     E pluribus unum
The 2 of us union.
