I stared into the darkness
You were snuggled up right beside me
Breathing ever so softly

I turned my head to look at yours
Relishing the passionate kisses that we shared just a few hours ago
Smiled

You had glided over me
Ran your fingers through my soft silky hair
And looked straight through my eyes…

I lay covered with only the soft cotton bed sheets
Thinking about the time, then, when our two bodies were locked into one
10.47

I thought about how we only met 3 weeks ago
In that coffee house beside a little road
Lined with maple trees

My heart burned when we talked
Just like it did when you made love to me
And all that mattered to me was you.
