I looked to a star in the skies
in it I saw the light in your eyes
And while I gazed out into space
I saw the contours of your face
And though we are so far away
I feel you with me everyday
Unto the heavens I beseech
of how my dear one do I reach
More desperate my prayers come each morrow
for your touch to heal my sorrow
The winds they sigh at your embrace
