Rewrite of Queen's We Are The Champions

On the upcoming Adam Lambert tribute cd!

On that silly little show
You paid your dues
Time after time
You gave your best
Yet still they robbed you
Committed againest you such an awful crime

And bad mistakes, Adam, baby, you made not even a few
In your life had too much, so much sand kicked in your face
But you've still come through
And you've made us all so very proud
How you've carried on and on and on

You may not have won
You may have been robbed of your rightful title
But, Adam, you are still the champion
Our sweet friend
And always for you we will keep on singing
We will keep on fighting
Till the end
'Cause no matter what, A.L.
You are still the champion
You are still the champion
Nothing like those other losers
'Cause you are forever the champion of our world

You deserve to take many bows
And a million curtain calls
Guaranteed we will bring you fame and fortune and everything that goes with it
Believe it, baby
Someday you'll thank us all

It may not always be a bed of roses
It may not always be a pleasure cruise
No problem
We know you will love the challenge
The dash to complete that all important musical race
And for sure from this moment forward
We will make sure that never again will you lose
As we build your legend on and on and on
