A tribute to the troops

Rewrite of Queen's Classic Hit-We Are The Champions

You've paid your dues
Time after time
You've done your sentence bravely
Even through you've committed no crime
And beloved friends
You've lost more than just a few
You've had your share of sand kicked in your faces
But soliders you've come through
To march on and on and on

You are the champions, our hereos
And we are so proud to know that you'll keep on fighting
Till the end
You are the champions
You are the champions
No time for terrorist losers
"Cause you are the champions-of the world

You've taken your blows
And your share of tragic falls
You've brought us freedom and love and everything that goes with it
We thank you all

Through we know
This was has been no bed of roses
No pleasure cruise
We still consider it a honor that you choose
To defend
Often to the death
The fellow members of your human race

And so we trust in you
That this war and others we will never lose
Cos you are there always
To go on and on and

You are the champions, our hereos
And we are so proud to know that you'll keep on fighting
Till the end
You are the champions
You are the champions
No time for terrorist losers
"Cause you are the champions-of the world

You are the champions, our hereos
And we are so proud to know that you'll keep on fighting
Till the end
You are the champions
You are the champions
No time for terrorist losers
"Cause you are the champions-of the world
