Taking a sip, burning my lip
I realized the coffee was too hot

Cursing myself, wiping the shelf
Trying to act real cool, I sure was not

Wishing you would be, smiling at me
I knew right then and there, I was hooked

Looking at you, cannot be true
I was knocked out by the way that you looked

A good girl is what you say
It does not appear that way
After clearing the rubble
I find that you are trouble
Only trouble follows you
It is what you admit to
Sorry to burst your bubble
I know now, you are trouble

A laugh with you, a flirt or two
Is surely more than just friendship

Your fingertips, caress my lips
These things can only make the love scale tip

What is in store, I wish for more
I have fallen, and I have fallen hard

Worry for me, for can’t you see
You could not have taken me more off guard
