You left me standing in the rain.
My heart broken and my body slain.

You said goodbye before I could speak.
My soul it now feels incomplete.

You turned away with no looking back.
My mind is lost, and feeling black.

You broke your word and left me there.
My hands reaching, but all is bare.

You disappeared from my life.
My skin it feels like silky ice.

You closed me from your life tonight.
My eyes took in this awful sight.

You wrote the words, I'm done with you.
Now my God, I feel so used.

I love, love, love this part: "You said goodbye before I could speak. My soul it now feels incomplete."

Nice. I've seen some very nice (as in, thoughtful, sensible, practical, hilariously funny, forthright, sexy and real) forum posts by you out there, too. A RedHairedandFriendly read binge is in my near future... that's all I can say.
