You're the only one that makes my day.
Come close to you there is no way.
Compared to you she's a ball of clay,
And while you shine, she's a dull gray.
She may be pretty in her own way,
And be surrounded by many a fan.
But there is something I must say.
"Compare to you, she never can."
She may have diamonds and such,
And may be considered a lucky girl.
But to me that doesn't mean very much.
For I have you. You're my pearl.
She may have fame and status too.
But does she have someone that's true?
And loves her as much as I love you,
And offers his love every day a new.
So again, Sweetheart, to you I say,
"You're the only one that makes my day."
And I don't care what anyone may say,
No one can compare to you in any way.
