I saw your face above me,
And I melted in desire for you.
With eyes closed in ecstasy’
And lips parted in love.
I saw you .
And as my waves’
Crashed on your shore’
I suddenly, beyond a doubt knew.
My eyes flew wide with realization.
At that moment I trembled,
And around me, the world shook,
For at that very moment,
I became aware of
How very much I love you.
More in a moment,
Than in a year.
Just as I glimpsed your face,
My heart swelled.
And all I was inclined to do,
Was cling to your body.
