I know you have been hurt before

you have been used

and you have been abused

but baby I am going to change that all for you right now

give me you heart

place it in my hands

let me love it treat it with care

you truley do deserve

let me be your shoulder to cry on

your hand to hold

let me give you and your heart

a love that is true no matter what you do

respect you for who you are

I will not turn away when things get rough

I will stand there and be tough

by your side in your heart
