Sometimes I can think I know what is right
That logic and reason are all that I need
I try my best to do what seems right
And tell myself; let my mind take the lead

Then other times my heart overrules my mind
The sensations are too strong to cast away
I'm overwhelmed with feelings, caught up in time
Where she's all that I wish for at the end of the day

Will time heal this battle between my heart and head?
Can I suppress the all the emotions I feel?
Is there an end to this feeling of dread?
Please tell me so then I will learn how to deal.
