I love the way
you soothe me
with a touch
and make me
see the fireworks
when the world
fades to black.
I love how you're
wild and red hot,
yet as smooth
and inviting
as satin sheets strewn
with rose petals.
I love the way you
take my hand
and make me fly,
and help me land
safely back on the ground
when my wings are weary.
I love so many things
about you,
that I could never
list them all.
but one thing for sure
I'm glad you're mine.
