ZMP ~ hills in the road

The road goes up
and over a hill
there it ends
and disappears.

I know it goes
on and on
but I can't see
this hill's beyond.

I only see
a road before me
reaching upward
steadily climbing.

Anticipating
reaching this peak
then beyond
I will see,

more hills
that roll along
this road traveled
that I am on.

Not quite always
a rhythmic mode
every step over
hills in the road.

You've done it again

With rhythmic variance

you make me feel

I'm traveling the road

along with you;

life seen with new vision

with vistas of hills

never ending;

and wondering what

you'll serve up with next
