If there were only one flower
left in this world
with no possible means
of pollination,
it's obvious demise
a certainty.

Still it's bloom will unfold
without worry of it's end
greeting each moment
as if it just began,
The last flower song.

I like your nature poems best

I can tell you love being outside in it all because you write about it so naturally--and yet it's a very introspective poem. Very Zen, yes. And you're editing them, you sly dog. I can tell that, too. :D

Really nice, 'as if it just began'

This flower has other tools besides a hammer.
