"About what?" she asked, clearly not getting my subtle reference.
"About our anniversary, and sex."
"I really don't know," she replied.
"Well, what do you WANT?" I asked. It was strange to feel that she had all the power in this conversation, but it felt good, too.
"What I WANT is for you to make me feel the way Ted does in bed."
So much for feeling good. I sat there in silence, holding her hand but not having any idea what to say next.
"But since you can't," she finally continued, "I don't want to do anything. I'm looking forward to our anniversary, and I don't want to ruin it with bad sex. Okay?"
I wish you could have seen her face when she said that. For years we have strived to be honest with each other; it is how our marriage has survived and even thrived. Right there, sitting on our couch as we talked about our 25th anniversary and her lover's sperm swam inside her body, my wife was completely, totally, absolutely honest with me. And today, as I finish this story on our anniversary day, I know that writing about this is the only sexual stimulation I will get. It has been one year, 3 months and 16 days since my wife has touched me in a sexual way, and if she didn't change her mind today there is very little chance she will change it any time soon.
I have always thought that a successful cuckold marriage requires two people who love each other deeply, are fully committed to each other, and who understand that sexual satisfaction will be found in one partner's pleasure and the other's pain. Others may disagree with my description, but that day's events and that night's conversation confirmed what I believe and made me grateful that I am married to such a beautiful, loving, cuckolding wife.
Oh, and yesterday she started something new in honor of our anniversary. When she holds me she says, "I love almost all of you."

I don't blame you, I'd comment anonymously as well. Then again, perhaps you are simply jeolous you are not engaging in it to the level of Paul and his wife. I have to believe the latter as you seem to have made an effort to read Paul's work. From a bull's perspective (i trust you know what a bull is) and one who throughly enjoy the lifestyle, I can hear and feel all of the love in this endearing relationship. Such a shame you shallow thinkers can't see or even sense it. I've enjoyed a couple (the same couple) for many years now and totally and completely respect their needs and relationship. When we are together, I can see and feel their love for one another. Truth be told - I love her too!
AnotherClosetReaderalmost 14 years agoThe hubby also could be said to not love his wife by pushing the other man on her just for his fantasies. So does she love him? Probably did at the beginning. After putting up with 15 years of "Get a boyfriend" I'd be wearing a little thin on patience. I'd still go for divorce, or separation at least. Then let my friend "the ex" live vicariously through our conversations. Everyone I've read has been putting blame on the wife, but remember this: he says he was asking her to cut him off at the conjugal level for 15 years. If I was her I'd be more than a little irked at the situation, and he deserves to get chewed out for peeping on her and her lover. He's basically saying " I don't really want, love or respect your sense of self respect, but I want the live porn show, so go get a boyfriend and tell me all about it!" But as long as he gets fantasy spank fodder, what does he care? Might not be long till "I love almost all of you." becomes "I almost love you."
ryu77almost 14 years agoOh and if your wife says she loves you, it doesn't mean she does. This isn't a loving realtionship, its just two sexual deviants that get off of each other. There is nothing loving about this.
And yes, I've read this because I'm curious about the LOVE, but I guess respect is important too in a loving relationship, and its something the WIFE doesn't have towards against his husband.
