"Their magicks make it hard for my people to see the city's other strengths and weaknesses. I also do not know the true strength of the druids. My people have two-hundred fighters, and when we can get in the walls, Ungrai will make every enemy warrior we kill fight for us. It will not be like last time." This was said with a harder voice, and Ashyr could see the signs of anger in his expression again. It made her mouth split into a wide grin. Oh yes. It would be nothing like the last time.

"In summary, the two groups need to work together, but have trouble doing so for various philosophical reasons." Caleldir summarized. "As for getting closer to the city, I could do that. Or, at least, my ghost could."

"I see no tactical advantage to that course of action." Althaia said, mimicking Caleldir's usual tone. "You are rather quick to suggest plans where you die."

Caleldir shrugged. "Dying is one of my best skills."

The nymph rolled her eyes. "I am not very comfortable with the idea of turning the defenders into undead and using them against their former comrades. Perhaps we can think of a less... necromantic plan."

"I see no issue with it." Caleldir muttered.

That was all the information everyone was able to impart by the time they made the walk to what Zarag called the main hall. The building was vaguely in the shape of a longhouse, though it looked woven into and from the vegetation of the forest. It didn't look like it would stand through a winter, but it was adequately sturdy and kept most of the weather outside and the warm inside. The path they were on spat them out right in front of the front doors, which were wide open to give them the view of the tables inside. There was space for forty to fifty people there, though it was only at half capacity at that point. Most were people Ashyr and Caleldir might recognize from the druid town. Artur was there on the other side of the hall, as was Dria. They both spoke softly to Urag who was crouched in a corner, looking too large for everyone present. Aside from him, there were a couple more people of orcish descent milling around. Both orc and druid worked to put food on the table, with Fucking the Goblin running around at their feet worrying shrilly about the presentation of the food the more clumsy workers were "completely ruining."

"Here we are." Zarag announced unnecessarily. "Go on in. Relax. The summit will begin after the last light of the sun." Which would be in an hour or so.
