But, you can feel free to motivate your sisters with the promise of access to him for a day once they find Ashyr. I will take steps to prevent more unwanted 'connections'. Also, Ashyr herself would probably also not mind spending a day relaxing with your sisters. Ashyr is Neutral, but of the most fun sort. You will find her a bit of a kindred spirit in many ways.]
Although he wanted to protest R.I.S.A.'s offer, when the A.I. began talking about Ashyr, Caleldir smiled fondly. "That is very true," he murmured. "Not that I want Ashyr turned into a succubus."
[Fortunately, it takes a loooong time to succubize someone through sex alone. Not as long as it does to incubize someone, but still much more than a month.]
Caleldir scowled but did not press the point. "So... what will we tell Selene?"
[I will tell Sornamal the truth. He should be pleased. I will just tell Selene that you are helping Dahlia find Ashyr.]
A sigh from Caleldir. "Well, I suppose I am stuck, then. Good thing I know that spell to remove bodily waste without having to use the toilet." He fell silent, looking rather disgruntled. After a few seconds, he spoke again, "I hope that this will not take long."
[Several days, minimum.] R.I.S.A. said in a grim tone. [I honestly have no clue at all how long it will take Dahlia to gain the power to break the contract and separate from you. And Dahlia: I know that it would be against your nature as a succubus to try to kill one of Caleldir's looks and alignment, but if you are tempted that way, well, ask him what happens if he takes a 'fatal' injury. He would survive. You would not.] A deep breath, which was an affectation since the A.I. did not breath. [Anyway, I have opened the dimension's barrier so you can travel. Do not test my indulgence! Now goodbye! Have a fun time in hell!]
And with that, they were gone.

DrowsDilemmaalmost 4 years agoAuthorI am actually inclined to agree with your assessment, kvalentine. When we were writing this part of the story, we never imagined that we were going to publish it here or anywhere (this being a one-on-one, for-fun roleplay project). Sometimes we ignored logic and good story-telling for the sake of writing one of our favorite situations: female-on-male rape. I THINK this was the last time we did this. I could be forgetting something.
Anyway, yeah. Caleldir should have been WAY better protected by that point. There are some in-world reasons why Caleldir keeps letting this happen, But Selene at the very least would have been more paranoid about this sort of thing happening.
kvalentinealmost 4 years agoThe recurring theme of Caledir getting forced by a female and gaining an ally/alliance out of the experience in one way or another is getting really, really, stale. It doesn't work anymore for plot, and the fact that his character development, the best thing this story has going for it, suffers every time this stunt gets pulled, is a real drain on the story. I'm sure the author(s) can come up with other ways to introduce incoming characters.
This has been the worst incarnation of this to happen so far (and hopefully will be the last), because this time it utterly destroyed my willful suspension of disbelief. He had a spell that the story says he cast in this encounter, that should have guaranteed his escape (Dimension Door). Furthermore, if any of them actually used the magical knowledge they're supposed to possess, they would have had Risa/R.I.S.A. cast a permanent freedom of movement spell on him while in her pocket domain as soon as feasible after the first contact with the rusalkas. Nothing short of a demigod or an archmage of Elminster's caliber could dispel it, and Cal would be completely immune to being grappled, restrained, or even slowed by magical or mundane means.
Anonymousover 4 years agoWell he was magicly weakened and bound during the entire gangbang at the school and there really was no hint to the succubus's power when she showed up. I am just anticipating his inevitable meeting with his step sister who is hunting for him in the city. I still have a funny feeling she will find Ashyr first and free her then be lead to Caldier. I can probably guarantee if Selene find out about what Dahlia did it will be a very slow and painful detachment procedure for Dahlia. He does need to develop a anti female repelling ward when he wanders alone.
Lushtreeover 4 years agoCaleldir's bad record in the Underdark seems mostly to be because he keeps getting ambushed, and lacks a killer instinct. At least with the succubus he could definitely get rid of her, but he does not want to kill her so instead her tolerates her feeding off of him. They need her, after all.
Anonymousover 4 years agoWhat happened to Caledir? It’s been 98 chapters, and Caleldir is still a weakling. He went from completely useless to good at combat and magic within the first 10-20 chapters, with the goal and potential of becoming equal to his titan status. Since entering the Drow territory, however, he suddenly became completely useless and incompetent.
