Chapter 6

“It is amazing we have never formally met because we both seem to be here often and we attend the same functions and for the last two months the same church.”

“You are right that it amazing. I usually meet everyone and talk them to death.”

*giggle from both*

Kari whispers, “There is giggling!”

Gary shhhhed her, “shhhhhhh.”

“I have heard a few things about you just casually by being at the church. I also have read the website you constructed and keep maintained for the church.”

“I didn’t do it I swear.”

They laughed.

“I do manage the Church site though and I have one of my own as well.”

“Aww well it was nothing bad. I just heard you have had a tough road but you endured it with 7 kids.”

She laughed then realizing she was already flirting tried to withdraw.

“Yes I have 7 kids and now 3 ½ grandchildren. My second to oldest is pregnant again. My oldest had left the country but is currently in country. I only have two left at home. When my daughter leaves again I will probably have the 7 year old grandson back.

Chris noticed how she suddenly withdrew. He couldn’t help but think of the things Gary and he had talked about all day. He only met her and could somehow feel her pain. Chris has a sudden rush of emotions. If this wasn’t setup then maybe it is fate? She is even more adorable up close then from a distance. Maybe he should just lay it on the line so neither of them gets hurt.

“Do you mind if we walk outside for a minute?”

“Sure why not”

She figured here it is. He will ask her out and promise the moon and tell her how he will fix everything. They walk towards the back door to Gary and Kari’s backyard.

“We will be right back guys.”

“Take all the time you like”

“Go ahead and eat if you like” Chris winked at Gary.

They walk outside. Chris pulls out a chair that is at the round umbrella covered table and offers the seat to Trish. Trish thought this is new but just sat down. She never had a man wait on her or offer a chair to her.

“Are you ok?”

“Sure why wouldn’t I be?”

“Well I noticed all of a sudden you just like closed completely down. Have I done anything to upset you or offend you in any way?”

She was nearly shocked at his forwardness.

“You personally haven’t done anything to me but I have heard things from other men and been hurt so many times I guess when the time comes to even look like a date or relationship I tuck and run”

“That is understandable. I do not have any intention of hurting you Trish.”

The way he said her name sent shivers down her spine. Not in a bad way. She tried to resist those feelings.

He knew if she was the submissive then he would have to choose his words to make sure she felt secure and didn’t think he was just another man feeding her another line. Taking her hand he gets close and says,

“Trish, I want you to know I have never in my life done anything like this.”

“Ok” She answered kind of sassy but not rude but just wondering.

“I have admired you from a distance for a long time now. I have no clue as to why we never met but meeting you now has caused some changes to go on inside of me that I have never experienced before. I do not mean to scare you or anything.”

“You’re not” She smiled.

“I will be honest with you about a couple of things. Honesty to me is a major important thing in any friendship.”

“I agree”

“I asked Gary about you today. He told me a couple of things but nothing deeply personal and made sure I was very clear on knowing you are totally against anyone trying to match make.”

“Had I not known that no one was aware I was coming over I would be upset but I am not” Trish replied.

“This is why I am taking the chance and speaking to you of what I am fixing to. I know the subject doesn’t offend you because of what I now know of Kari and Gary.”

Trish suddenly feels dizzy and not sure if she wants to go on.

“Could I be excused for just one minute, I promise to return quickly.”

“Sure”

Trish trying not to run walks fast inside.

Trish in a tone that only Gary and Kari can hear, “Gary, you spoke to him today about me. He told me so. He hasn’t told me what yet. I stopped him. He told me he approached you about me and I know you and you wouldn’t ever on purpose break your promise but I have to ask you, does he in ANY way know that I as well as you two want the lifestyle?”

“I will be honest. During the questions he had it was mentioned you had been mistreated more then once. I told him how you make that comment do I have abuse me ill let you tattooed on my head and he made the Dominant observation that most submissive get abused because they have not fully understood or developed what is part of them and men take advantage of it. He is very against abuse by the way also.”

She leans on the back of a kitchen chair. “So you are telling me he is a practicing Master/Dom?”

Trish steps back outside. Chris gets up and pulls her chair out again then returns to the seat across from her.

“I told you I approached him. I have always known there was something about you that drew me to you but it was not confirmed until I seen you tonight. Now I want you to just listen and say absolutely nothing until I ask you things. Can you do that for me?”

“Yes”

He gets up and pulls her chair out and scrunches down in front of her.

Kari tries to watch out the window and Gary quickly tells her to mind her business.

Chris gently takes her hands into his. “I promise you I am not going to hurt you. I am not asking anything of you. I won’t do or ask anything of you against your own will. I am just telling you about me ok?”

Trish hangs her head down, “ok”

“You have taken care of people ever since you were a young girl, now someone wants to take care of you. Take a moment and process all of this and let me know if you want to give me a chance. You are not being drug into a commitment, just a chance to be spoiled as long as you want to be. If you are worried that I will do this to impress you then it will all stop once I get the commitment then talk to Gary and Kari.”

“I have been in business with Gary almost 6 years. I am a man of my word and as Gary put it I am meticulous and love giving and making people happy. Gary just found out today about this particular area in my life because I never wanted to offend anyone. I knew when the time was right things would fall into place and today I really feel it has fallen into place. I already feel like you are part of me. I have never felt this way before, ever.”

“Can you get up for me?” He holds her hands while she stands up.

“I want to hold you if you let me.”

She walks closer and welcomes his warm large strong arms. She begins to cry more and he strokes her hair and just holds her.

He tries to comfort her with his words and caresses. He scoops her up and holds her across his arms as she cries. He walks to the door and Gary quickly opens it.

“Can I borrow your room for a few minutes?”

Gary strokes her hair too, “Long as you need to boss.”

Gary then hugs Kari knowing she is worried about he dear friend. “Don’t you worry my girl, she will be ok.”
