A Keychain of Girls

They laughed and had a jovial time as the pile of pancakes slowly got shorter. Jen was in high spirits this morning, especially for the hangover that was beating on her head. Chiu and Koto looked at each other at one point and got up together, walking into the other bedroom.

"Oh! It's eight! Danny, you're going to be late!" April said, jumping up.

"Late for what?" Danny said, looking up.

"School!" April called happily, picking up a box lunch off the counter, "Come on, up you get!"

"But I can't!" Danny stuttered, stumbling to his feet.

"Danny, I'll be fine. Go to school. You can't afford to miss anymore." Jen said, looking up at him.

"Fine, I'll go change!" Danny said, running to his bedroom.

He changed quickly into his school uniform. It was simple, long crimson slacks and a crimson polo with a bright red tie. He slipped on some socks and ran back to the living room.

"Here's your lunch and your school bag. Also, Chiu and Koto want to come with. They bought school uniforms and want something to do, if that's okay?" April said, "Koto has fun at school and Chiu loves the library."

"Really? That's fine, I would love a little company. I...well...I never really had any friends at school..." Danny said, prodding his fingers together.

"Oh you're so cute!" Koto said, jumping on his back with her arms around his neck.

"Koto!" Danny laughed, shaking her off.

"You know, you're school has really cool uniforms." Koto said, standing back.

She was wearing a High School uniform, a knee length pleaded crimson skirt and a white top with a matching crimson vest over top. She had a bright red necktie and knee high socks. Her tail stuck out between her skirt and her top. She smiled cutely. Chiu stepped out of the bedroom and walked over next to Koto. She was wearing the same outfit and had a computer bag in her hands.

"I like it too." Chiu smiled, "I can't wait to see your schools library."

"Come on, come on. Here are your lunches. Go or your going to be late!" April said, handing them both box lunches.

"Let's go girls." Danny said, slipping into his shoes.

The three of them went out the door together and started down the stairs.

"I love your school!" Koto said, sitting down next to Danny in the cafeteria.

"At least one of us does, I have a mountain of back homework to dig through." Danny said, opening his lunch, "Whoa! This looks delicious!"

The lunch had two pork buns, a rice ball and a small bowl of fried vegetables.

"That's April for you. She can make even boxed food delicious beyond reasoning." Koto said, opening her own lunch.

"So Koto...why do you...you know...like...doing it so much?" Danny said, blushing slightly.

"Hmm?!" Koto's eyes widened. She hadn't expected such a question from Danny.

"I'm sorry if it's so personal...I just thought...you wouldn't mind...sharing." Danny said, blushing further.

"Danny...are you feeling okay?" Koto said, putting a hand on Danny's forehead.

"I'm fine...I just...thought...you know...we've gotten to know each other..." Danny scratched the back of his head, "...I've just always wondered about...how you could be so open about it...and love it so much?"

"I suppose it's just me. I mean, I don't see any reason to be overly modest about sex. Everybody has sex, so why hide it? I mean, I won't go having sex blatantly in front of you, but I'm not going to hide what I am. As for why I love it...well...you would have to feel it for yourself. It's better than anything you've ever felt in your life." Koto said, setting her chin in her hand, "Just the feel of it...man or woman...feeling their hands on you...rolling around...getting all hot and steamy."

"R...Really...?" Danny said, blushing.

"I'm sorry...did I explain a little to much?" Koto said, smiling slightly.

"Uh...No, it's fine...your explanation was...just a little colorful." Danny said, poking his fingers together, "I've just...you know...never done it...so..."

"You will sometime. You just have to find the right girl whom you love enough." Koto said, smiling before she took a bite of a pork bun.

"Nice cosplay Koto! It looks really cute on you!" A girl said as she walked by their table.

"Thanks Ayase!" Koto said, waving to her.

Danny sat down in the library, across the table from Chiu. It was the first time he had been alone with Chiu since they had met.

"Hi Danny. You know, this library is amazing! You have so many books here!" Chiu said, brushing some dark hair out of her face. She smiled from behind her large round glasses.

"Chiu...Can I ask you about you and your sisters?" Danny asked, crossing his arms on the table.

"Shoot, I don't mind." Chiu said, closing her book.

"Why were you created? For what purpose? Also, why are you three so different from each other? I mean, if you were just created to serve, one would think you would be more alike." Danny asked.

"Well, our master was an elderly wizard. A man who could see the end of his life on the horizon. So, as a last act of kindness to his yet unborn granddaughter, he created us. His one and only descendant was pregnant with a young woman and she was terminally ill. He knew that she was likely to die during childbirth. So, instead of leaving the babe to an uncertain future, he gave his life to create the three of us. April, the caring mother to feed and nurture the young one. Koto, a fiery spirited one to play and have fun with, all the while protecting the child. Then there was me, the mentally gifted scholar, to teach and pass on knowledge when the time called for it. Teach the child the lessons of life." Chiu explained, "However, we had different names back then and we weren't bound by the keychain, nor were we immortal."

"So...then...how did you come to be how you are now?" Danny said, amazed by her history.

"Well...the babe was born and the mother died. We took up our positions with fervor, eager to fill our passed master's desires. Many years, we stood by the woman's side, her caretaker, guardian and teacher. As we aged, the woman grew guilty of her position. She thought it unfair that we had to be created to simply serve her, never have a life of our own. So, determined to give us our own life, she used her inherited magical abilities to make us young and immortal. But through this, she bound us to the keychain. Now, she knew the only way to make us immortal was to make us dependent on masters. This never solved her problem to give us our own life though. All she could do was hope that through time, somebody would free us and let us live a free life." Chiu said, taking off her glasses. Her eyes were getting teary.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know it was so emotional for you. We can stop...if you like." Danny said, feeling slightly guilty.

"No, no, it's alright. Just...thinking about the past so much has brought up many memories...some happy...some sad...I suppose I'm just wondering if she was right in what she did...will we ever be free?" Chiu said, wiping her eyes, "I suppose I sound kind of stupid."

"Not at all...I was wondering...does this mean that you three know magic? I know you can change your size, but do you know other magic?" Danny said, realizing what this all could mean.

"Yes actually, all three of us know magic. I know the widest variety, while Koto knows many battle-type spells and April is skilled with healing and other homemaking magic." Chiu said in a hushed tone, "When we get home I can show you some."

"Oh that would be so cool! I can't wait!" Danny said eagerly, sounding like a child.

"You know Danny...of all the Masters we've had...I think you come pretty close to the best one." Chiu said, "Maybe it's just because your a teenager...or maybe it's because your so kind and polite. I think I'm going to enjoy my time with you."

"Really? I'm glad for you." Danny smiled, "Sorry if I'm interrupting your studying."

"No, it was quite alright...I enjoyed telling you about myself." Chiu smiled, putting her glasses back on.

The three of them were walking home together.

"So you know all about our past now huh?" Koto said, putting an arm around Danny's shoulder.

"Yea...that is kind of sad about why you were created though..." Danny said, looking at his shoes.

"Well...Yea I suppose, but we're here now. Which mean's we're your problem!" Koto said, squeezing Danny playfully.

"Hey now, aren't you suppose to be the one that keeps me from getting hurt?" Danny said, looking over at her.

"Chiu tell you about our magic did she? Well yep! I'm the one that keeps your butt from getting beaten up! With me around, nothing will ever touch you!" Koto said.

"Your so humble Koto." Chiu teased with a smile.

"Oh shut up you know-it-all!" Koto said, smacking her, "Hey Danny, you know what the problem is?"

"Hmm?" Danny looked up at her.

"She probably does know it all." Koto chuckled.

Chiu was quietly smiling widely.

"Oh Koto you're horrible. Let's stop in here and get a soda!" Danny said, walking into the convenience store that was across the street from the apartment.

"Okay!" Koto said, following close behind.

Chapter 5 - A Touch of Magic

Danny squealed like a child and clapped his hands. Koto was standing in front of him juggling green, blue and purple fireballs. Jen was out looking for work, so the girls thought they would show him some magic. They hadn't been lying about it, all three of them could do magic.

"Put those away before you burn the house down." April warned Koto.

"Oh like I'd let that happen." Koto said, catching the fireballs.

She missed the purple one and it struck the floor, making a scorch mark.

"Whoops!" Koto said, putting out the three fireballs with a snap.

"Good job sister. Now, there is more magic than just creating fireballs. There's healing magic. Telekinetic magic. Even love magic." Chiu said, standing up from her seat.

"Love magic?" Danny raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, magic that modifies the chemicals in ones brain in order to develop infatuation." Chiu explained, holding out her hand. A small glowing pink heart appeared there, floating up and down slowly.

"Isn't that dangerous? You know, messing with somebody's head?" Danny said, looking at the small glowing heart.

"Not really. As long as you know what you're doing...it's not like the spell is going to go..." Chiu was cut off.

"BOOM!" Koto yelled, jumping on Chiu.

"Waaah!" Chiu cried, falling forward.

Danny caught her and Chiu lost control of the spell.

"Chiu! Are you okay?" Danny asked, helping her to her feet.

"I'm fine...oh dear...do you feel any different?" Chiu asked, noticing the pink glow on Danny's arm. He had been struck with the spell.

"Not really, why?" Danny said, standing back.

"I lost control of the infatuation spell when you caught me and it was cast on you." Chiu said.

"You cast an infatuation spell on him?" April said, smacking Chiu, "How could you be so careless?"

"It was Koto, she jumped on me!" Chiu said, pointing at her.

"Either way, Danny, any feelings you may feel for Chiu or Koto are just false from the magic. It should wear off after a few days." April said, examining Danny closely. She felt his forehead and checked his eye.

"I'm fine, it didn't do anything." Danny said, trying to talk as she checked his tongue.

"But...I've never cast a dud spell." Chiu said, putting a finger to her mouth.

Suddenly all three girls looked up at each other at once, all of them coming to the same realization.

"You already love us!" Koto cried, pointing at him.

"What?! No, it's not what you think!" Danny cried, blushing and holding up his hands.

"Danny...Magic doesn't lie." Chiu said, blushing a bit herself.

"I swear, it's not what you think...I...I need to go somewhere!" Danny yelled, running for the door.

"I can't believe he loves us..." April said, crossing her arms as the door slammed.

"Why? He's a teenage boy and we're cute girls. It only makes sense." Koto smiled, putting an arm around Chiu's waist.

"Koto..." Chiu sighed, shaking her head.

"He'll come back when he's ready." April said, turning back to the dishes.

Danny stood on the roof of the apartment, leaning on the railing. He was looking out over the city. He was still feeling rather embarrassed. Not because Chiu's spell worked, but because Koto had been right. Danny had never been in love before, but now instead of falling in love with one girl, he had fallen in love with all three at once. April...she had been so sweet and caring with him. How could he not love her. Koto...so fiery and beautiful, he had already seen most of her body. He blushed just thinking about how beautiful her body was. Chiu...witty and smart. A cute, shy demeanor and a beautiful head on her shoulders. He loved her personality.

He was truly in love with all three of the girls.

"What do I do!" Danny cried, putting his head in his hands.

He couldn't bear to think what would happen if he admitted his love. How could he admit himself to one of those girls, only to hurt the others. If he admitted himself to all three, then he could never be with any of them. It was so confusing!

"How do all those guys at school do it?" Danny sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"They don't think about it." Chiu said, "They don't have your caring personality."

"What?!" Danny flipped around at her voice.

"They don't care like you do. Most of those boys are just out for sexual pleasure. You on the other hand actually listen to your conscience." Chiu walked over to stand next to him, "You know Danny, you're in a special position."

"What's that?" Danny said, turning back around to lean on the railing again.

"We three are yours. You don't have to pick." Chiu said, looking sideways at him.

"What're you talking about?" Danny said, turning to face her.

"I know you love all three of us. The accident with that spell proved it. You can't make someone fall in love with something he already loves." Chiu said.

"How could I possibly choose one of you and leave the others?" Danny said, putting his hands in his pockets.

"That's what I meant...you don't have to pick. Love all of us." Chiu said, moving closer to Danny.

"What? Isn't that polygamy?" Danny said, looking at her in shock.

"Is it such a horrid thing?" Chiu put her arms around Danny's waist.

"But it's not fair to any of you. A man should be whole heartedly into one woman and one woman alone." Danny said, pushing her away slightly, "I can't do this to you or your sisters...I love you too much."

"But what about our feelings Danny?" Chiu said, "What if we want it this way?"

"Wha...?" Danny muttered, confused.

"We all want you Danny." Chiu wrapped her arms around his waist again, "All three of us want to be with you...together..."

"But...the...you three...I..." Danny stuttered.

Chiu cut him off with a kiss on the lips. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him passionately. Danny protested at first, trying to separate them, but then he started to enjoy it. Wrapping his arms around her, he turned his head and kissed back.

"Somehow I knew you would be the one to convince him." Koto said, leaning back against the door.

"What?!" Danny cried, suddenly turning to her.

"It's okay Danny, Chiu told you the truth. All three of us want to be with you. It's kind of how we are. Unlike most people, we don't mind sharing a man. Actually, I kind of prefer it." Koto said, walking over to them, "So, are you okay now?"

"I...I...Uhh..." Danny stuttered.

"You're still over thinking this." Koto chuckled.

She leaned forward and kissed Danny on the lips.

"Get it now?" Chiu said, putting an arm around Koto.

"I...I swear this has to be a dream." Danny said, looking between them, "Three cute girls and a whole lot of magic. There's no way it could be real."

"Seems like it huh?" Koto said, running a teasing finger up Danny's chin.

"But trust me, we're very real." Chiu said, putting an arm around Koto's shoulders.

The door opened again and April walked through. The three of them turned and looked at her. She smiled and walked over to them.

"I know how my sisters sound...but, are you okay with it Danny?" April asked, crossing her arms under her breasts.

"Well...It'll take some adjustment for me...but I could get used to it." Danny smiled, putting an arm around both Chiu and Koto's waists.

"Ha ha...come on Danny, I'm getting dinner ready." April laughed, waving them over.

"I can't believe this though...all three of you want me." Danny said, setting his dishes in the sink.

"Why is it so hard to believe?" Koto said, jumping on his shoulders. She wrapped her legs around his waist and hung on.

"Because...why would three cute girls want me enough that they agree to share?" Danny said, reaching behind him.

He grabbed Koto's sides and started to tickle her. Koto started to laugh hysterically and fell off him. Danny flipped around and jumped on her, tickling her furiously. Tears came to Koto's eyes as she laughed harder, thrashing around beneath him.

"Because you fit all three of us." Chiu looked up from her computer.

"What?" Danny sat up on Koto's thighs.

"Don't you see?" April said, looking back at him from the sink, "Your caring and sweet. I love you for that."

"I enjoy talking with you...your witty and funny to be around." Chiu said, "I love the way you think."

"And look at what you're doing with me?" Koto said, "You've got the spirit to keep up with me and I love it!"

"Whoa...." Danny said, looking around, "Really? I'm that good for you all?"

"Yes!" The three of them said together.

"I can't believe this...and the three of you can do magic to boot!" Danny said, standing up.

He helped Koto to her feet. Once she was standing, Danny shoved his shoulder into her stomach and threw her over his shoulder. Koto squealed and kicked, smacking his back.

"Put me down!" Koto squealed, squirming on his shoulder.

"Okay!" Danny said, throwing her off his shoulder.

She fell onto Jen's futon lying near the television. Koto sat up and huffed, looking up at him. She crossed her legs and put her hands on her ankles.

"You're so mean Danny." Koto said, staring at him.

"Oh you know you loved it." Danny said.

She huffed and threw a pillow at him.

"She did." Chiu chuckled, clicking away on her computer.

"I won't lose that easily!" Koto cried, jumping up.

She tackled Danny from behind and picked him up over her head with one arm.

"What the crap?!" Danny screamed, struggling above her.

"Shut up! I will have my revenge!" Koto yelled, running to the bedroom with Danny above her head.

She threw Danny down on the bed and jumped up into the air. Her tail touched the ceiling before she started to come back down. A knee planted on either side of his waist and a palm on either side of his head.

"How about that Danny!" Koto said, her ears twitching.

"Magic isn't fair..." Danny said, glaring at her.

"Nor is tickling." Koto said, sitting up on his waist.

"But it's fun!" Danny said, grabbing her sides again.

She started to howl with laughter again as Danny frantically tickled her.

"Ahahaha! Danny! Noooo! Don't!" Koto squealed, thrashing beneath him, "Not fair! Not fair!"

"If I can't have magic, you will get tickled!" Danny panted, trying to hold her down and tickle her at the same time.

"N...No! I'm gonna wet myself!" Koto laughed hysterically.

"We can't have that." Danny chuckled, sitting up on Koto's legs.

Koto laid on the bed, panting heavily. Wiping some hair out of her face, she sat up and looked at Danny.

"You're...Not fair." Koto said, putting her arms around Danny's neck.

"Deal with it." Danny smiled, pecking Koto on the lips.

Koto pulled him close and kissed him. Danny fell off balance and the two of them collapsed onto the bed together. Danny was lying on top of her, their legs intertwined and his arms on either side of Koto. She kept her arms tight around Danny and kissed him again. This time Danny felt her tongue in his mouth and his eyes widened. He was startled at first and then started to return the favor, toying with Koto's tongue with his own.
