Not bad for a first try, but it needs some work. First, you need to study something called suspension of disbelief. It is a concept guiding fiction writers, especially science fiction, or fantasy.
As a writer, you hope readers will suspend their disbelief, and accept whatever you throw at them in your story. But, it is not that simple. As the writer, you have to make your story believable, even if it is completely Looney Tunes. You do this by creating a setting, background, and environment where your readers can believe your craziness.
You also need to make your characters actions/reactions, and decisions as realistic as possible. For example, your two characters were much too calm, and accepting when Luca's hair suddenly grew more than a foot, in length. They were much too calm and accepting of everything. People don't act that way. When your characters act so abnormally, for no reason, (remember what I said about you needing to create a setting?), it is difficult, as a reader to suspend disbelief, and accept the story.
A basic aspect of writing, having nothing specific to do with suspension of disbelief, but still affecting it, is character development. You jumped right into the main part of your story before we knew anything about the characters. You smashed what should have been a number of pages into a few sentences.
Don't worry about making your story 'short enough', for bitchy Lit readers; I can never understand when someone complains about a story being too long. Reading is intended to being an enjoyable pastime; if you don't like to read, why the eff are you on Lit? Watch porn, instead; there's certainly enough of it, freely available.
Another aspect of suspension of disbelief is not going overboard with unbelievable occurances. It's wild enough Luca grew a second dick, why make it 18" long?
Last, you need to find someone who is a native English speaker, and get them to proof your work. Some of the errors made reading the story quite difficult.
With a bit of learning on your part, and a re-write to put your new knowledge to work, and to fix some problems, you will a greatly improved piece of work.
