Lisa giggled nervously, "Don't you get jealous?"
"Of course he doesn't. He's got just as many stories, if not more. Perhaps he'll tell you those some day."
"I'd like that. But I want to hear more about your Europe trip first. What happened in Naples?"
Dawn waved her away, "no that's for tomorrow night. We still have the afternoon in Florence to get through yet."
"There's more in Florence?" Lisa was jokingly shocked. "This is almost becoming real-time."
"Let's have dinner first, sex stories always spoil a good meal I think." Phillip brought the pasta in a large bowl to the table and they helped themselves. Whilst they ate no-one spoke. Like at a funeral it became difficult to find other subjects apart from the one they really wanted to talk about. Each topic seemed to stumble back to the story Dawn had just told, like drunks finding their way home. So when Lisa complimented them on the food, Dawn found herself saying "yes, when Antonia cooked it..oh, well." Some casual conversation arouse with the arrival of the lamb, but dinner was rushed, because all three wanted to return to the main event.
When Phillip had opened more wine Dawn was ready to recommence.
