A New Life for Dr. Mitchel Ch. 03

"No shit, Sherlock," Marsh replied. I'll mind my Ps and Qs as well. Thanks for the warning."

"How are you doing on getting the facilities figured out up here, Marsh? Have you found all the secrets yet?

Marsh paused for a few seconds before he replied. "I haven't taken near enough time to scout the paths, or the tunnels, Jimmy. I've actually been rather pleasantly distracted this weekend. I'll try to spend a little more time exploring the grounds in between exploring the women, though I have to admit, I sure like exploring the women, Jimmy."

"Something I just now thought of. What should I call you at work? Are you Doctor Turner, or Jimmy, or The Boss Man, or????? I've only known you as Jimmy."

"Good question, Marsh. You and I have a better relationship than a lot of the company people. Around the office, I'm mostly Dr. Turner. A good percentage of the security team knows me as Jimmy, so play it by ear. The name you call me doesn't change who I am, and I want you to think of me as your friend Jimmy."

"I can work with that, boss man. By the same code, I want to stay known as your friend Marsh. It will be different in some circles, but with our four person team, I want to stay Marsh. Another thing I need to know is the dress code. Do I have to go out and buy a bunch of stuffy business suits? Will jeans and polo shirts work? Slacks and my western shirts? Just how formal do you want from me? Since you sprung this on me with no warning, I don't have much of a wardrobe yet. Today is going to be Wranglers, or shorts, and a polo shirt or western shirt."

"There you go, thinking ahead of me again." Jimmy smiled. "I guess I'll have to live with what you've got won't I. If anyone complains I'll just tell them to take it up with you, 'cause you're the boss now. Think that could work?"

"I don't think anything's gonna work if I don't get my butt up to the shower then put something on it." Marsh stood up, rounded the desk, and walked over to Jimmy. He wrapped Jimmy in a bear hug. "I want to thank you again, Jimmy. You're putting a lot of trust in me, and I'll give you all I've got, to deserve that trust."

Marsh went to the door, and headed for the central stairway. Jimmy headed for the kitchen door. "Hey Marsh," he called. "Send Becca down to get out Air Wolf. Let's all go in to work in that.

"Will do!" Marsh called down over his shoulder.

Trish and Becca were both dressed in pantsuits and bright colored blouses. They were each standing in front of the mirror, putting the finishing touches on their minimal application of makeup. Marsh walked into the bathroom, and stepped between them. Looking into the mirror, Marsh looked both of them in the eyes.

"We don't have much time to talk or any time to play this morning, but I want to go on record saying thank you both for a great weekend. I hope today is every bit as nice as a day at work can be, and I hope we come home this evening as happy as we are right now. I've fallen in love with both of you, and I'd like that to grow."

"Now I need to pass on a message. Jimmy wants Becca to come down and get Air Wolf out and ready to take all of us to work. Trish, you're coming to HQ with us. Now, I need to get in the shower."

Marsh gave each of the ladies a quick kiss and stepped across the room into the shower. Trish finished her make-up, and turned around to watch Marsh. Becca finished her make-up, and turned around as well. They moved together and each put an arm around the other.

Before Marsh was finished, Becca got an idea. She stepped over to the linen closet and pulled out two towels. As she handed one of the towels to Trish she asked, "Want to share? You dry the front and I'll dry the back."

Both of them were very thorough and made sure Marsh was dry, everywhere. Both of them decided to check some parts of Marsh's body with their hands. To make sure he was dry, of course.

When they were both sure they had done a good job, they stood up and met in front of Marsh for some kisses. Trish was stroking Marsh's cock, and told Becca, "You probably should go down and help your grandfather get the helo ready to go. I'll help Marsh finish getting ready and he can bring me down to the pad."

"Yeah right. I just bet you'll help him.... with something. Becca laughed. "I'll see you down at the hanger in a few minutes," she continued as she exited the bathroom.

Now Trish knelt down in front of Marsh. "We really can't have you trying to get dressed in this condition. Can we?" With that Trish took Marsh's cock into her mouth and proceeded to pretend she was suck starting a Harley.

Marsh was moaning right from the start, and didn't last a full ten minutes. "Damn girl!" he exclaimed. "You are really good. Can I plan on getting used to this treatment before work every day?"

Trish made sure Marsh was cleaned up, then stood up and kissed Marsh. "I can't think of a good reason why not," she replied. "We better get you dressed now, so you aren't late for your new job."

The closet had a padded bench for sitting down inside. Marsh grabbed a pair of socks and underwear. While he sat down and put them on, Trish picked out a new pair of Wranglers and a western dress shirt that just happened to match the color of her blouse. Marsh put them on and then added the Bravo Concealment DOS holster, his Sig, and his badge, hung on the right side of his belt. A pair of Double H low heeled ropers finished his attire, and Marsh was ready to walk out the door.

"OK beautiful," Marsh said. "We better get down to the LZ (landing zone) or miss our ride." He and Trish walked down the stairs and out to the garage.

Marsh whistled and Wolf was beside him in just a few seconds. He jumped in the back door of the truck as soon as Marsh opened it. Trish was quickly in the passenger seat, Marsh Closed her door, walked around the front of the truck, hopped in the driver's seat, fired up the truck and pulled out of the garage.

Marsh parked under the tree beside Jimmy's house, and the three of them walked over to the barn that served as a hanger at the ranch. Becca was at the controls and began firing up the helo as Jimmy helped Trish step into the front passenger seat. Marsh and Wolf climbed into the back, as did Jimmy, and everyone strapped themselves into the comfortable seats.

Jimmy looked over at Wolf. Marsh had brought Wolf's service vest, and was clipping it in place as Becca lifted off. "Is he going to be OK with being inside most of the day?" Jimmy asked. He sounded friendly, and not critical.

"He'll be just fine. He loves attention, and he'll get a lot of it. I've had him in offices, schools, and churches. He does just as good with adults as he does with children, though I think he prefers the kids." Marsh smiled.

"Jimmy, you said the new office complex has more room than you think we are going to need for a while. Just how much extra space is there?" Marsh was working on some ideas that would require more space.

Jimmy paused to make some quick calculations in his head before replying. "Well Marsh, we were leasing two floors of a four story building of about 104,000 square feet. That means we had about 52,000 square feet of space, give or take. The building I just built has six floors and 168,000 square feet, and it all belongs to us. Oh yeah, there's a basement and a penthouse apartment in addition to that."

"We have put people into offices on the first two floors, and half of the third. The fourth and fifth are unfinished. The sixth is partially finished with executive suites that include some fairly nice living spaces, in addition to the penthouse. What do you have in mind, Marsh?"

"Do we have a lounge and gym for the employees? Is there a cafeteria or restaurant for them?" Marsh asked.

"None of the above at present Marsh. However, I see where you're going and I like it." Jimmy stated. "Anything else you were thinking of?"

"What does our employee health plan look like?" Was Marsh's next question.

"We have a pretty standard disability and health insurance plan. I don't think there are any companies around that have anything a lot better, and I know there's a lot worse around town. What gutter is that dirty mind of yours flowing in, young man? Jimmy's voice carried a distinctly curious tone.

"Ahhhhhh," Marsh toned. "You'll see. I've got to see the layout of the building before I make any rash decisions, boss man. I hope you like my ideas. I know our employees will. Marsh's voice was light and teasing.

"Uh-oh," Trish commented. "Sounds to me like your new boy has thought of some new ways to spend your money daddy."

"I thought about that before I even asked him to come back here, girlie." Jimmy sounded a little smug. "It's part of why he's here. I was hoping that some fresh eyes and some capital investment would do us good. I didn't think it would start as quickly as it has, but I'll back his play, even if it means we have to acquire a little debt. I don't expect he's gonna go for much of that though."

"Geez daddy," Trish laughed. "May I have one of those cards, too? I think I can spend a bunch of your money, as quickly as Marsh can, with cart Blanche."

Jimmy was quick to respond. "But will you be doing it to make more money, like Marsh will?

"Awwww daddy," Trish whined. "Do I have to make money with it? You better leave that to Marsh. I suspect he'll do that better than I can, I just want to shop.

"Don't sell yourself short, beautiful," Marsh said. You're nobody's dummy, and I'm gonna put you in charge of some of the money as well."

"Hey!" piped up Becca. "While you're handing out money......."Becca drew out her statement, then let it drop.

Becca had slowed the helicopter and was turning into the wind for landing. The new office building had a very nice heli-pad and even a hanger, on the roof of the building. The Bell 230 had retractable landing gear that made it easy to roll it into the secure hanger, for protection from the elements.

Once the engines were shut down and the rotors had stopped, Marsh helped Becca roll the bird into the hanger then all four of them walked over to the entrance to the stairwell. One of the security team members was there to hold the door open for Jimmy, Trish, Becca, and finally Marsh and Wolf to walk off of the roof and head down the stairs to the penthouse.

As Marsh went through the door he immediately smelled breakfast. Jimmy had had someone come in and cook a very good breakfast for the four of them. There were scrambled Eggbeaters, hash brown potatoes, Morningstar vegetarian sausage patties, as well as batter to put in the Belgian waffle maker. Marsh saw fresh strawberries and peaches for toppings or just to eat.

As the door closed Jimmy's booming voice proclaimed, "Honey, I'm home!

From behind the kitchen door Marsh heard a light female voice begin to laugh. Then the voice said, "So am I sweetie. I've got breakfast ready like you asked. Bring your friends in the kitchen and fill up."

Marsh suddenly cocked his head, and worked his thought processes. "I recognize that voice," he thought. "Who the hell is it?" Then it hit him: Jenni! That's Jennifer Turner. She was a nurse in his ER back out in California. Wait... Jennifer Turner.... James Turner.... Jimmy.... Jenni.... Could his friends be related? Marsh had never made that connection.

Jenni was a little older than Marsh, and was the best nurse in the ER. She was a tall, blond, attractive, no, beautiful would be more accurate, woman. Marsh thought she was in her mid to late forties. Jenni was single, hardworking, fun loving, and always on top of her work. As an ER partner there had been nobody better, and Marsh had come to trust her completely.

As Marsh walked into the kitchen Jenni's face lit up. "Dr. Mitchel!" she sang out. She ran towards him and launched herself into his arms. Marsh picked her up and returned her kiss. "What the hell are you doing here, Marsh?" she asked.

"Damn Jenni! I should ask you the same thing. I haven't seen you since my last day in the ER. How the hell are you, girl?" Marsh spun around once and then let Jenni down to the floor.

Jimmy, Trish, and Becca stood back with their mouths open and very confused looks on their faces. Jimmy was the first to catch his voice, and asked: "What the hell was that all about?"

Marsh quickly replied, "Jimmy, Trish, Becca, meet my friend, and former colleague, Jennifer Turner RN. Only the finest emergency room nurse in California. Jenni, meet my very close friends, Dr. James Turner, his daughter Trish Turner, and his granddaughter Rebecca Andrews. Rebecca is my Becky's identical twin sister."

Jimmy had finally gotten a little composure back, and he started to give Marsh a little information. "Marsh, I know Jennifer because she's my little sister. I had no idea where she was, till Saturday night, when she showed up at the old corporate office, and one of my security team called me. I haven't seen Jenni since before I went to 'Nam. I brought her over here and we talked most of the night. I told her to make herself at home, to get some rest, and that we'd be here this morning."

"Hell's Bells! Jimmy!" Marsh exclaimed. "I worked with Jenni for ten years. I would never have guessed when I met you, that Jenni was your sister. Jenni was one of Becky's best friends."

Jenni interrupted the conversation. "Hey, let's get some food, before its dead, and talk around the breakfast table. Trish and Becca, it's really nice to meet you. Becca, you are so much like your sister was, I thought for a minute I was hallucinating."

"That's just what happened to me a couple of days ago," responded Marsh. "I very nearly lost what little mind I've got left." Marsh was smiling as he spoke. "I'm guessing we've got some long explanations coming, eh? Who's gonna start....Jimmy?"

"Well now, let's see....I think I'm gonna try the shortened version," began Jimmy. "Dad died in Korea in 1952. My big brother Dwayne became the man of the house. He dropped out of school and went to work. He always made sure we had enough. I guess he and mom got kinda close, she really leaned on him, and he took care of her. Jenni was born in 1965, a couple years before I went to 'Nam. We all got along OK, but I was in medical school so I wasn't around much."

"Mom and Dwayne moved while I was in 'Nam, and Jenni being just a kid, went with them. When I came home, I wasn't real popular, especially in California, where my family lived. I went to Southern Florida, and built my business. I heard from Dwayne a couple of times before mom died, but he moved again and didn't send me any information, so I lost track of him and my little sister, or niece, depending on how you look at her."

"Rick found her while he was looking for Trish's babies. He didn't say anything to me, but he did contact Jenni, and asked her if she wanted to have any information about her brother."

Jennifer took over at this point in the conversation. "I wasn't sure what to say or do, when Rick contacted me. I looked up to Jimmy when I was young, but I had no idea why he hadn't come home from the war. I waited almost a year, after I heard from Rick, before I decided I was going to just drive back here and if he didn't want to see me, I'd just keep traveling.

"I was not working, and had enough savings to last for a while. I knew if I got low on funds I could get a travel assignment for eight to sixteen weeks, 'cause nurses are in demand everywhere, so here I am."

"And if you'll stay, you have a job right here, girl. Your big brother doesn't even know he's offering you a position today." Marsh winked at Jenni, and smiled his mischievous smile at Jimmy."

"Well you're right about that." Jimmy said. "I had no idea I was offering her a job. I'm not the least bit surprised, but I really didn't know. Are you gonna tell any of us what she's going to be doing? Or is it going to be a secret?"

"Well, I don't think it's going to be any big surprise. We need someone competent to head up our employee health department and I can't think of anyone that would do a better job." Marsh was smiling as he looked at Jenni. "I know enough about Jenni to fill out her resume, and believe me, I'd have to leave out a lot of details. She is more than capable."

"You better stop right there, big fella." Jenni was also smiling. "You go much farther, and you'll give everybody the wrong impression of me."

Marsh winked at Jenni again and said, "or maybe the right one, eh?"

"Hey!" Jenni barked. "I said to stop already. It's probably important for you to remember that I know about some of your skeletons, too."

"Ooookay," Marsh groaned. "You win. I think you need to know, though, just because I know you're related to Jimmy doesn't make me love you any less. Maybe I love you more now, since you're related to Trish and Becca. And since they're related to me, I guess that makes us all related... somehow."

Everyone was pretty much finished with breakfast, so all chipped in and helped with clean-up. They made quick work of that.

Marsh looked at Jimmy. "Since we have a little time before your big unveiling, do you want to show me around this place, or do you want me to have Wolf give me a guided sniff tour? Oh yeah Jenni, you're gonna be up front, at our meeting. Do you have some clothes you want to change into, or are you alright in your sweats?"

"I think I'll change. I know how to get to Jimmy's office, so I'll go down there and meet you when I'm ready. I wasn't really planning on a corporate meeting this soon, so my wardrobe is just a bit limited, but I do have some nicer duds than these."

Becca walked over and put her arm around Jenni's waist. "I've been through this place enough to know my way around. Would you mind if I stayed here with you and get to know you a little better?"

"That would be great," replied Jenni. Since I don't know anything about you, other than you look just like my former best friend, I can pick your brain a little, too. We've got a lot of catching up to do."

"I'd really like to join this conspiracy," added Trish. "I've been around here since they did the surveying. I probably know this building better than dad does."

"Oh yeah," Jenni said. "I'll have two great sources to get the dirt on my big brother from."

Marsh looked at Jimmy. "I think we may be in trouble now, boss. I know what Jenni can do. I think I've got a clue what the other two are capable of, and if we let the three of them gang up on us, our goose is cooked."

"I hear ya, Marsh," Jimmy replied. "You probably know Jenni better than I do, so if you say she's trouble, I'll take your word for it. Let's get down to your new office, and start your tour."

Jimmy led Marsh to the elevator, which was on the same wall as the door they had come in from. The elevator door opened immediately when Jimmy pushed the button. Jimmy and Marsh stepped inside, closely followed by Wolf.

As the elevator closed on Jimmy and Marsh, Jenni said, "let's go into the bedroom. I need to get a shower and change." The three beautiful ladies walked down the hallway to the penthouse's master suite. Jenni led the way into the bedroom, and sat on the corner of the big king size bed. Becca sat on a plush chair near Jenni, and Trish sat on the end of the bed close to Jenni.

Jenni looked at Trish and then at Becca. "I guess I need to get some more information, and share some with the two of you. I don't know how long Marsh has been here. He sort of went off the grid after Becky and Elise were killed, and I haven't seen Marsh in almost four years."

Becky was my best friend, and Marsh was really close to me as well. Marsh was totally committed to Becky, and some of us worried about him when he just fell off the map. We heard from a couple of the deputies we knew, and they said he was buried in his tactical medicine, and search and rescue, but he stayed away from all the people who reminded him of Becky."
