I'll be ready whenever you want me to be. I love you brother, and I'm glad you called me and asked me to come. I wouldn't want to miss it."
"And I love you Rosie. I can't imagine you not being there. Morgan will call you when he leaves the airport. Marsh finished that call, and then called Morgan to ask him to take the 407 up to the ranch and bring Rosie down to meet him.
Morgan promised to pick her up when Marsh called him to let him know he was a half hour out.
Next Marsh called Mama Vicky. It was still early in Santa Monica, California. Mama Vicky was very happy to hear from Marsh. She told him that Mario had gone to Europe with his wife, and Antonio and Giuseppe were back in New York. Mama Vicky said she and Papa Victor would be ready to leave from the Van Nuys airport when Marsh called her. She wasn't going to miss Marsh's wedding.
Marsh had to ask Mama Vicky to go to Van Nuys because the runway at the Santa Monica airport was short enough that Marsh didn't want to take a chance. They had a bunch of noise regulations, too. Marsh thought he could probably get in and out on the short runway, but he'd probably have to use his thrust reversers and take-off would require more power than they would like. They had a hefty fine if you made too much noise. Van Nuys was going to be just fine.
Mama Vicky wasn't sure she could run around without any clothes on, but she'd try to fit in, and she was looking forward to meeting his new family.
Marsh felt a wave of relief and a pang of sorrow, as Mama Vicky assured him they would be there for him. He wished his parents could be here, and wondered what had happened to them. It just didn't make sense that they had both vanished so completely.
Marsh shook his head a bit to clear his mind. He needed to get back to the here and now. Wondering would not bring his folks back, and he had a lot of new family to share some glorious times with. It was time to work at the tasks at hand.
Marsh was about to stand up and go to Becca's office when his cell phone rang. He looked at the caller ID, and was surprised to see the name Martinelli. He instantly felt a dread, and hoped Mama Vicky wasn't calling to tell him there was a conflict with Papa Victor's schedule.
Marsh pushed the talk button and answered; Hi! This is Marsh, how can I help you this morning?"
Marsh was a little startled to hear Papa Victor's voice. "Hello Marsh. I thought maybe I could help you a little. Victoria said you were stopping in San Bernardino, and then you would fly to Van Nuys to pick us up for some R&R in Hawaii."
"That's my plan, Papa. Is that OK with you?" Marsh replied.
"It's fine with me, son. But what if I take off from here and meet you at SBD? I have Giuseppe's Sikorsky here at the house, and I'm going to fly it to Van Nuys, anyway. Why don't you call me when you're a half hour from SBD, and Mama and I will just fly in to meet you?
"Papa! That would be great! You can land at my hanger, board the Gulfstream and we can take off. My mechanic, Morgan, can service the Sikorsky and put in in the hanger for the weekend. I think that's a capital idea." Marsh felt like hugging Papa Victor.
"OK then son, you give me a call and Mama and I will take off and be there in a half hour." Papa Victor sounded excited about the trip. Marsh was elated.
Marsh got another thought, and picked up his cell phone again. He scrolled through till he had Ted's cell number and pressed the talk button. The phone rang twice, and Ted picked up the call. Sargent Johnson, may I help you?
"Ted, Marsh Mitchel here. Where are you gonna be at about noon? I want to talk to you for a few minutes."
"I plan on being back at Dan's place by noon, Marsh. Is there a problem? Ted's voice had a spark of concern in it.
"Not really, Ted. There's a slight change of plans, but no problem at all. I'll explain when I see you around noon."
"OK," Ted replied. "See ya then."
Marsh put his phone in his pocket, and walked into Becca's office. Becca was just finishing a call. She stood up and walked to where Marsh had stopped. Her arms went around his neck, and she planted a warm, wet kiss on his lips. "I'm through for the weekend, husband." Becca said with a smile when she backed her face away from his. "What's next, my love?"
Marsh kissed her again then replied; "Let's go see if there's anyone else we can help get ready to get out of here. I feel a great weekend coming on, and I want to get to it as soon as possible....Becca do you think your uncle could borrow an FA-18 and get away for a day or two. Or if he'd even care to come to your wedding?"
"Marsh! I have no idea, but I think asking him would be a super idea. Do you mind if I call him?" Becca beamed.
"Sweetheart, do you really think I would have brought it up, if I had a problem with doing it? Come on, baby girl. I thought you knew me better than that by now."
"I guess I do." Becca replied sheepishly. "I'm just embarrassed that I didn't think of it sooner. I'll call him right now. You go see how mom's doing and I'll catch up with you over there in her office."
Marsh gave Becca another warm kiss and let her go back to her desk, as he turned and walked out, and over to Trish's office. Trish looked up, and saw Marsh walking in. Her face lit up with a bright, toothy smile. "Oh Marsh," she gushed. "This is so exciting! I went to California a few days ago, and now you're taking me to Hawaii, less than a week later. Just before that you bought me a new car, and gave me a promotion, and an unlimited budget. What's next, my lover?"
"Well, first," Marsh replied as he walked to her side. "I hope you're going to stand up and let me hug and kiss you. If you won't stand up I'm just gonna have to kiss and hug you in your chair."
Trish was standing up and wrapping her arms around Marsh's neck before he was finished talking. The kiss that followed was quite a bit beyond warm. As Marsh pulled his face away from Trish's, she smiled at him and coyly whispered; "I felt that. Is this for me?" she asked as she rubbed her hand up and down the length of Marsh's rapidly hardening cock, through his Wranglers.
"Oh girl!" Marsh breathed with a husky whisper. "You've just made me want to alter my plans for the afternoon. I....."
Becca interrupted him. "Mother you quit that right now!" She commanded. "I know we agreed to share, but we have things to do this afternoon, and I'm NOT gonna let you stop the wheels of progress today. That's OUR man, yours AND mine, and he's gonna be official tomorrow, so you just concentrate on getting us to the church on time."
Jimmy joined the laughter as he walked over and joined the threesome. "OK now," he started. "I've done the jobs I was given, and a couple I gave myself. What's left?"
"Where's Rick?" Marsh asked. "Is he still here or has he headed back to the ranch to get ready?"
Jimmy responded immediately. "Rick wanted to take the Cobra home and put it in the garage. He's gonna pack a few things and meet us at your house. Marguarita said she'll be ready whenever we get there. She is happier than I think I've ever seen anyone. When I told her why I called, she just about broke my eardrum with her scream. I think she may be happier than the bride already. She loves you both a lot and thinks you are perfect together."
"Let's go see how Jenni and Sue are doing." Marsh said. "If they have much more to do, maybe we can help them finish up, and we can get the hell out of dodge. Hey! They don't know about the wedding yet. Should we try to keep them in the dark?"
"Good luck with that." Jimmy quipped. "Just looking at Trish or Becca either one is gonna tell them something is up. I don't think Trish has had a foot on the floor since you made the suggestion. And Becca you look positively radiant already. We're gonna have to put you on a leash tomorrow to keep you from floating away. I saw you bouncing out of your office. What's up?"
"Oh grandpa!" Becca bubbled. "Marsh thought I should call Uncle Randy, and see if he can come to the island for the wedding. He said he's gonna be there. He still has an FA-18 with his name on the side, and he's gonna call for an in-flight refueling and be there before noon. He's gonna land at the Naval Air Station and get a ride to the resort in a Navy chopper. He knows the resort, and he's just gonna show up. I'm so excited! I'm getting married! Let's go!"
At Naval Air Station Pensacola, Rear Admiral Randall Andrews made a couple phone calls, and then went out to the outer office where his driver waited for him. "Take me home, Master Chief." He barked. "I need to get ready for an early morning departure. I want you at my front door tomorrow at 0430. I want to be at my Super Hornet by 0500."
The phone calls had set up the preparation of the Admiral's Super Hornet, and scheduled a couple of in-flight refueling rendezvous. He had also asked his plane chief to equip his plane with some harmless flash bang armaments. He knew where the resort was and planned to announce his arrival. The fake bombs would explode just above the water with a huge flame and a loud explosion. His favorite niece would know Uncle Randy was there.
What he didn't arrange for was handled by the flight line commander. The Admiral would not be alone. The Admiral would be the flight leader for a complete fighter group of four Super Hornets, and the line boss made sure everyone was equipped to make a scene when the Admiral led the fake bombing run.
Admiral Randall Andrews fell asleep thinking about his gorgeous niece, and the beautiful resort manager. Admiral Andrews knew Leyanni and a good percentage of the SEALs that made up her security team. "Ah, it's gonna be a fun weekend he thought" as he drifted off.
Marsh, Becca, Jimmy and Trish, took the elevator to the first floor, and walked into the new urgent care center. Sue was sitting in a chair, next to Jenni's desk. When the Turner executive team walked in she got up and walked to the doorway to talk to them. Jenni was still on the phone.
"She's on her last call." Sue told the group. "I think she'll be finished in just a minute or two. What's going on here? Becca? You and your mother look like you won't need a jet airplane to go to Hawaii. You can just float in the clouds."
"We'll tell you when Jenni gets off the phone. Then we only need to make one explanation." Marsh spoke softly so as not to distract from Jenni's attention to her call. Marsh had no idea who she was talking to, but he was going to make sure she could hear them.
Everyone stayed out in the hallway, and talked softly until they heard Jenni ending her call. "Good enough." Jenni said. "I'll talk to you next week. Have a great weekend." Jenni put the papers off of her desk into a drawer, and locked her desk.
Standing up she called out, "Let's get outta here. I'm ready for some sun and sand and maybe some tropical breezes and foods." She walked towards her office door, and the small group of family that was walking towards her. "Holy shit!" she exclaimed. "What's going on here? Becca and Trish look like they just took a happy pill, or maybe just got laid. What's the good news?"
"I'm getting married!" Becca fairly shouted. "I'm getting married, TOMORROW!"
Becca was jumping up and down like an excited school girl. "Tomorrow, girlfriend! TOMORROW! My only living uncle is going to fly in for the wedding. All of you will be there, and I'M GETTING MARRIED! My birth mother will be my Maid of Honor... Did I ask you that yet mom? Will you be my Maid of Honor, mom?"
"What are we going to wear?" Trish asked. "Did you plan that yet?"
"When I called Leyanni a half hour ago, she said she was going to handle all the clothing stuff. She said she was getting traditional Hawaiian stuff for everybody. I have no idea what she has planned." Becca could hardly contain herself. "I am getting married, and I don't care if the ceremony is naked. I just want to marry my fabulous man!" Becca jumped up on Marsh. She wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his hips. Marsh caught her and his hands went around her and caught her ass cheeks to help her not to fall off.
Jimmy decided to chip in a thought. "Is everybody finished with they're work? Should we lock this place up and get the hell outta Dodge?"
"Yeah!" Becca exclaimed. "Let's get this show in the air!" Clearly Becca was on an adrenalin rush. Marsh enjoyed the happiness he saw in his new bride to be and his new, again, mother-in-law. Becca clung to Marsh as he walked over to the elevators, and the six member family group headed for the helipad.
Marsh and Jimmy helped Becca get the 230 ready to fly home. Marsh told Becca he wanted to stop at the Morrison Estate, and talk to Ted. Becca told him that wouldn't be a problem. Wolf hopped in with the people that got in the back, and Becca asked Jimmy to make sure he was strapped in.
"Hmmmm," mused Jimmy. Are you afraid he might jump out?
Becca turned and smiled at Jimmy. "You better cinch down your own safety harness as well, grandpa. I don't want either of you to fall out."
"Sounds to me," Marsh conjectured, "like you're planning on some fun, girlfriend. Are we gonna show off a little?"
"Wait and see." Smiled Becca, as she lifted off the rooftop helipad. She turned the chopper towards the ranch, and picked up more speed than usual.
As the Bell 230 got close to the Morrison Estate, Becca bled off most of her altitude, but none of her speed. She was at treetop level, and almost one hundred fifty miles per hour when she crossed the rows of Spruce trees that Dan had had planted around the border of the estate.
There were several people out on the deck, and when they saw the helicopter flying in so low and fast, they called out several more.
Becca came down even lower after she crossed the tree line, and whizzed over the back deck, sending loose objects flying in the rotor wash. Just before she got to the tree line on the other side of the property, Becca yanked the cyclic back, and pitched the nose of the 230 straight up. She kicked hard on the left pedal to flop the bird on its side, and then pulled hard on the cyclic and the collective, to flatten the helo's trajectory.
Marsh had expected something like this, and as Becca flattened the chopper into a hover, he flipped the switches to lower the landing gear, and Becca gently set the bird on the lawn, beside the pool. By the time Becca shut down the turbines, and applied the rotor brake, everybody that was at the Morrison Estate was out at the edge of the deck, whooping and hollering about the short airshow.
Jimmy and Wolf hopped out as soon as Becca and Marsh stepped out and opened the back doors. Trish, Sue, and Jenni weren't nearly as quick. They each took a helping hand from one of the three that were on the ground already, and their first steps were quite unsteady.
As the six Turner executives walked towards the deck, Mary shouted at Marsh; "Hey Marsh! Can I get a ride like that? I've ridden shotgun in the police chopper, but the Sargent never did anything like that. That looked like fun!
Marsh smiled back at Mary. "You better ask the pilot. My beautiful wife to be was flying that little show. Becca, I think you just sold some helicopter rides."
Becca laughed. "I guess we can arrange something, at a later date. I'll have to see what Leyanni has available in Hawaii. Maybe we can give some tours of the island, if there's a chopper that will handle it."
Jimmy smiled at Becca. "Are you checked out in a Super Cobra, kiddo? I bet you could make her piss her pants with a ride in one of those. We have several at the base in Hawaii."
Now Becca laughed. "I have other plans for this weekend, come to think of it. I think I'll be busy tomorrow. I ain't giving nobody, no helicopter rides! The only ride this girl is giving is to my main man, and I have no intention to doing it in a helo!"
Everybody in the Turner party laughed and the Morrison employees all looked confused.
After a minute or two of initial greetings, Marsh held his hand up for silence. When he had everyone's attention, he started to speak. "I want to first introduce y'all to each other. First I want everyone to say hi to my boss, and arguably, my best friend, Dr. James Turner. Marsh moved close to Jimmy and held his hand up, like the winner of a boxing match. Then we have Jimmy's daughter, my mother-in-law, twice tomorrow, Patricia Turner. Dr. Turner prefers to be called Jimmy, and Patricia is Trish. Next is Jennifer Turner, Jimmy's sister, and the best emergency room nurse, ever. Jenni has been helping me help people for ten years. Last but not least is another of my partners, Dr. Susan Davies. Sue and I went to med school together, did our residencies at different schools but have remained very close since med school."
"I'm gonna try to go through the names of each of the Morrison crew. If I miss anybody forgive me and then tell us who you are."
"First I see Sargent Ted Johnson, from the local constabulary. Next to him is his wife, Marion. Then I see Officers Mary Davis, and Shelly White. I also know Tony Williams, and his beautiful wife, Patty, and his sisters, Beth and Barbie. I think these ladies over here are Ashley Brennan, and Debbie Brown. Tony and his lady friends are the grounds crew, and Ashley and Debbie are the house cleaning crew."
"Did I miss anybody?" Marsh looked around at all the friends and family members on the deck, and Ted responded to his question. "No Marsh, I think you got everyone included. I'd like to welcome all of you on behalf of our hosts, Dan and Kim Morrison."
"We're not going to stay here long at this time, but I needed to give y'all an update. Did any of you hear from Dan or any of his party yet today?" Marsh looked around at the Morrison employees, who remained silent.
Finally Ted spoke up. "I guess none of us heard from anybody. Is there something we should know?"
"I think so," Marsh replied. "I got a call this morning asking me to find a way to get Beth Thompson's family over to the resort, because Dan and Beth are going to exchange vows, in Paradise."
"As it turns out, the 747 won't fit in the little country airport up by the Thompson farm, so Becca and I won't be on the big bird. I will also give you the scoop on this group. Becca agreed to marry me tomorrow, so we are going to take the Gulfstream up to get the Thompsons and stop in California to get some of my family.
"I haven't told Dan or Beth that y'all are coming or that there is going to be a double wedding ceremony. I think Kathy Thompson threatened to do bodily injury to Dan if she wasn't included, and I personally think Ted should call out Dan for not inviting the rest of you. If you do it from the beach, with the rest of us backing you, I think the surprise factor will be priceless."
"Anybody have any questions or suggestions?" Marsh stopped talking, and just listened. There were shrieks from the girls as the double wedding news sunk in. All of the females gathered around Becca and there were a lot of happy voices talking all at once.
Ted stepped over to Marsh and gave him a bear hug. "I don't know either one of you very well yet, Marsh." He said. "But I think you're both getting a great partner. Congratulations!"
"Are we still on for 1300 this afternoon?" he continued.
"That's the plan," Marsh replied. "Becca and I won't be the hosts on your flights, but I think you will be in good hands with Jimmy and Trish. They will be on the helicopters that should arrive a few minutes before 1300, and they'll be on the 747 with you."
"I have a couple of stops to make, but I can go supersonic when I leave California, so I'll be likely to catch up with you over the Pacific. Ted I can't tell you how good I feel about this weekend. I'm a happy man!"
