A Tale of Two Coworkers

"Good night, Alicia" His tone had said it all. The night was over for them now and she thought that was probably the smart thing.

She wouldn't be getting the passionate goodnight kiss that she desperately wanted, but it would be the end of her marriage if her husband drove up to see her making out with a co-worker in front of their house.

"Good night, David" She smiled faintly, wishing she didn't have to leave him as she opened the car door and got out.
