A Week To Remember

"Lacey," Shelly gasped with her eyes closed, "if you don't stop now, we aren't going to." Shelly felt Lacey's forehead come down on her chest and felt hot breath against the top of her breasts. Lacey finally brought her head up and looked at Shelly.

"Sorry," Lacey whispered right before she brought her lips down to Shelly's. It was a soft, gentle kiss and Lacey finally stepped back away from Shelly. "Come to the back with me?"

"And why would I want to do that?" Shelly asked as Lacey led her toward a door and into a dark room.

"So I can get you measured for a board to take you surfing tomorrow," Lacey replied as she pulled a string and lit up the room. "I assume you know how to swim?"

"Yes, but I've never done anything even close to surfing." Shelly let Lacey lead her to a wall to get her height measured. When Lacey led her toward a scale like she always saw in her doctor's office, Shelly pulled to a stop and looked at her.

"You can either step on or I will have to guess."

"Then you'd better start guessing," Shelly said and crossed her arms over her chest. Lacey took a step toward her and knelt at her feet. When she lifted one of Shelly's legs off the floor, Shelly lowered her arms and balanced herself on Lacey's shoulder. Lacey lifted her leg up in front of her and brought a hand up to the back of her foot. The hand slid up her leg slowly, grasping her calf muscle as it moved up. When it slid over her knee, Shelly held her breath and watched it grip its way up her thigh. Her muscle flexed under Lacey's hand causing Lacey to ease her touch and bring Shelly's foot back down to the ground. She turned to face Shelly and brought her hands up and placed them on Shelly's hips. Again, she increased the pressure with her hands and felt the muscles of Shelly's hips and butt. Lacey stood and slid her hands up Shelly's back and strong shoulders.

"Lacey, what are you doing?" Shelly almost whispered as Lacey's hands slid down her breasts and wrapped around her abdomen.

"If I have to guess, I at least want to be informed." Lacey let her hands slide back up and cup Shelly's breasts. She lifted them as her thumbs grazed each nipple.

"Are you getting enough information?" Shelly's breath was short as Lacey again brushed her thumbs down across Shelly's sensitive nipples and then lowered her hands back down to her waist.

Lacey closed her eyes and kissed Shelly's forehead before taking a step back.

"122?" Lacey asked as she stepped back to a sheet of paper and wrote down Shelly's height and approximate weight. When she glanced up, Shelly's face let her know that she had gotten pretty close to her actual weight. Lacey smiled and took Shelly's hand, leading her over to a low balance beam. She held Shelly's hand only long enough for her to step up.

Shelly raised her arms up at her sides and managed her way across the beam quickly. She brought a foot of the beam and twisted on her toes and headed back across the beam with no problem. She looked up and found Lacey shaking her head and smiling at her.

"Would you happen to be a gymnast?" Lacey asked as she watched Shelly gracefully remove herself from the beam.

"Did you deduce that just from me walking across a beam of wood?"

"Your legs and ass were the first clues, all muscle. Your ease on the beam just confirmed it." Lacey led Shelly over to a back section of the room where a machine sat in the floor. Lacey released Shelly's hand, grabbed the controller, and stepped up onto the surfboard that had been built on top of it.

"This is something a friend and I have been working on. It simulates the movement of the board in the water and gets people used to standing and moving on top of them." Lacey bent her knees and flipped the power button. She kept her body vertical and moved her hips as she controlled the movement of the board. "The controller lets me or Brian get the board moving, but there is enough give with the board that with the right moves, you get the board moving where you want it to go, just like you would do if you were fighting a wave." Lacey did a quick jump on the board before hopping to the floor and turning the machine off.

When the board had leveled off, Shelly stepped up onto it and bent her knees. "Okay, let's give it a try."

"You don't have to Shelly. I just wanted to show it to you." Lacey reached her hand up to help Shelly down, but Shelly pulled her hand away.

"If I can ride a mechanical bull and stay on, then I think I can ride this without falling off."

"That almost sounded like a dare," Lacey said as she took a step back and took the controller back in her hand.

"Not quite, but I'll give it a try. It's the same concept isn't it? Keep your center of gravity over the center point of the board?" Shelly bent her knees again and brought her arms out at her sides.

"You got it," Lacey laughed and flicked the button. She did a small side roll with the board and watched as Shelly leaned back to keep her balance. Lacey kept slowly moving the board and Shelly handled most of the moves easily. Only at the end, when Lacey put a little more twist on the controller, did Shelly lose her balance and tumble off the board toward Lacey. Lacey stuck her arm out and caught Shelly easily and pulled her toward her.

"You are an impressive woman," Lacey said as she snuggled against Shelly's neck.

"You've not seen anything yet," Shelly said and pressed her lips to Lacey's. She heard the controller Lacey had held hit the ground and then felt her other arm wrap around her as Lacey's lips pressed back against hers. Shelly parted her lips and accepted the tongue that demanded entry. She heard herself moan as Lacey's tongue teased across the top of her mouth. Her plan to tease Lacey had backfired. She wanted to melt to the floor as Lacey's tongue slid along hers and teased her lips.

"You're trying to play a game that you have no chance of winning," Lacey said as she pulled her lips from Shelly's. She let her tongue tease the wet, open lips before finally stepping back from Shelly. Lacey led her over to a wall of boards that she hadn't painted yet. She found one on the stack that was the right length for Shelly. Since Shelly was a beginner, she wanted a long, balanced board for her to start out on.

"What are your favorite colors?" Lacey pulled the board out of the stack and walked it over to the table where she did all of her final work.

"Blue is my favorite with dark green coming in a close second. Did you make all of these boards?"

"Brian and I make them. He does most of the actual board work, and I usually do the final touches." She pulled three cans of paint off of a high shelf already having a vision in her head of what she wanted to paint. "Do you have a favorite symbol or scene? Something that when you see it, it makes you feel like home?" When Shelly didn't answer her, Lacey turned and saw that she was staring down at her cell phone. Shelly clicked on a photo and handed it to Lacey.

Shelly remembered that morning like it was yesterday and she doubted any amount of time would ever dull the memories or feelings she had tried to capture with the photo.

It had been years since she had been to their country property. Shelly had managed to keep herself busy the last five years, too busy to come up here and visit the home that she had grown up in. But her mom's birthday was coming up and the ache to go home was stronger than her want to stay away. She had gotten in late last night and drank enough vodka until she went to sleep easily. Her bladder had woken her early, and as she stepped into the kitchen to start some coffee, she saw the scene out the window.

When Lacey looked down at the photo, she found it impossible to look away from. The sun had just popped over the trees in the distance. A light fog was sitting on the hills of the open valley, but not enough to cover the beautiful green of the grass and trees. On a far rise stood a single tree, and just to the side of the tree, stood a horse with its head down at a lone tombstone that was just visible in the fog. Lacey quickly looked up at Shelly who's head was still down and tears were now falling. Lacey opened her arms and Shelly stepped right into them.

"That's home," Shelly whispered against Lacey's neck. She didn't look at the photo often, but when Shelly felt lonely or unsure, the photo was what always seemed to center her and help her find peace again. She would always remember her mom's words of wisdom when they would take their early morning walks through the field with the horse.

"No matter where you end up or how old you get, remember it is your responsibility to make sure you are happy, no one else's. If you're lucky enough to meet someone like I did with your father who can make you even happier, then you can't ask for much more out of life than that."

Her mom had told her that when she was thirteen. Within a month, she was killed in a car accident on the way home from work. She and her father tried to continue on at the ranch after, but it just wasn't the same. Anyplace either one of them looked, Barbara stared back at them. Eventually Shelly's dad sat her down one evening after supper and asked her if she was happy living at the ranch. They both ended up in tears by the time the conversation was over, but they agreed that moving to the city would be easier on both of them. With Robert working more and Shelly heading into high school the next year, they started looking at houses in town and eventually bought one and moved their lives into the city. Robert never sold their first home or the land. Shelly now owned it and had lived there before moving for her new job.

"I'm sorry honey. I didn't mean to upset you." Lacey kissed Shelly's head and held her close as she thought back to her home and her mother.

"I'm sorry Lacey. I know what you were asking when you mentioned home, but that was what I thought of. That will always be home, and it's one of the only places where I can always go and find myself." Shelly pulled herself back and wiped her tears. "But that's not really the scene you were looking for was it?" Shelly let her head fall back and took a deep breath.

"Not quite, but I am honored that you shared it with me. Will you tell me more about it one of these days?" Lacey brought her hand up and captured one last tear that had managed to slip past Shelly's defenses.

Shelly nodded and agreed to share the story when the time was right. "Why don't you use your imagination and surprise me," Shelly said and nodded toward the surfboard that had been secured on top of the table.

"I can do that. I already have something rolling around up here anyway," Lacey said tapping her temple. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for letting me lose it there for a few minutes." Shelly turned and picked up a finished board that was leaning against another wall. "How long have you been surfing?"

Lacey answered all of Shelly questions and asked some of her own as they finally locked up the store and headed back the few blocks to the club. Shelly had left her car there instead of driving to the beach, and Lacey wasn't going to let her make the walk back by herself. She handed Shelly's phone back over to her after she had entered her phone number into it.

"So, I'll see you tomorrow after work? You can just bring your suit and clothes with you, if you want and change here." Lacey was trying not to act like the nervous fool that she felt, but her hands gave away her nerves as she fiddled with her keys.

"I should be here around 4:30." Shelly took both of Lacey's hands in hers and pulled them around her waist and then circled her own around Lacey's neck. "I'm glad you came over and sat down next to me tonight, Lacey. I wouldn't have had the courage to approach you, and I can't imagine now not knowing you." Shelly let her hands slide up through Lacey's hair and then back down her neck. She pulled Lacey's head down and gently brought their lips together. She kept the kiss soft knowing how much she and Lacey both would react if they let themselves get carried away.

"Thank you for an enjoyable evening," Shelly said and placed a last kiss on Lacey's lips. "I will see you tomorrow as soon as I get off. How about I stop and pick up some sandwiches or something before I get here?"

"That would be wonderful, if you could. Then we can spend the rest of the evening getting you used to the board." Lacey held the door as Shelly seated herself. She leaned in and gave Shelly one last kiss before standing to leave. "Sweet dreams Shelly." Lacey stepped back on the sidewalk and waved as Shelly pulled away. When she finally turned out of her sight, Lacey headed for her apartment where she knew that she would dream of Shelly when she went to sleep, if she could go to sleep.

Shelly folded her workout clothes up and placed them in her bag. She pulled on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt over her bikini before putting her tennis shoes back on. This was her first full week at the LA Gymnastics Studio, and she was starting out with a small group of young girls and two boys. They were all eager to learn, and Shelly had a blast teaching and coaching them as they tumbled and flipped. Her boss had explained that she liked to take a few weeks with new employees and work them in many areas before deciding exactly where they would be placed. Since Shelly was capable in many areas of gymnastics, she wasn't worried about where she would end up. Right now, the only thing she was worried about was being able to handle herself on a surfboard.

"Hi Shelly, how did your day go?"

Shelly had been so caught up in her mind that she hadn't heard Regina come in the locker room, and she jumped when she spoke to her. "Hi Regina," Shelly said, with her hand over her chest from the surprise. "It was a good day. I had a great bunch of kids who wanted to learn. It was fun."

"Sorry I scared you. If you weren't worried about your day, then what was that concerned look on your face when I came in?" Regina asked as she pulled off her outfit.

"I've got my first surfing lesson after work, and I'm a little worried is all." Shelly tied her shoes and stood up facing Regina.

"You shouldn't have much problem with surfing with your balance being as good as it is." Regina pulled a clean shirt over her head and stepped toward Shelly. "You want me to tell you what I was told when I first started learning? It's a little bit crude for advice, but I don't think I've heard a more adequate description of surfing in all my years."

"I'll take any advice you want to offer," Shelly said.

Regina pulled on her jeans and stood before Shelly as she fastened them up. She bent her knees like she was standing on a surf board. "When you get up on your feet and get your body set, imagine that there is a stick coming out of the board." Regina moved her hand up from the imaginary board she was standing on and up toward her hips. "The lady that taught me actually used the word penis, but she was blunt like that. Whatever it is you want to imagine, think about it being secured to the board and going up into your vagina. When you set your knees down, you sit down on top of it. It cannot come out of the board, but if you don't keep your body lined up right, it can come out of you. No matter how you move, whether back on your heels or forward on the balls of your feet, it is your job to keep it inside of you." Regina straightened her legs and winked at Shelly. "The last thing you want to happen is for it to come out before you've reached the climax of your wave."

Shelly felt the blush across her face but managed to glance up at Regina and give her a small smile. "I've never heard it explained like that before, but you are right. It is a very good description of how to move, from what I've seen anyway. Thanks, I'll try to remember that later."

"Just don't think about it too hard," Regina said as she stepped by Shelly and headed toward the door. She let her hand linger on Shelly's arm for a moment as she passed by. "You might end up too distracted to surf."

Shelly smiled as Regina left her in the locker room alone. Distraction was the one thing that Shelly was expecting to have trouble with. She was more worried about seeing Lacey in her surfing outfit than she was about the surfing itself. Shelly grabbed her bag and headed to her car. As worried as she was, she was also excited and looking forward to seeing Lacey. She just hoped her excitement didn't cause any problems for either one of them.

Lacey sat Shelly's board in the closet and shut the door. She had gotten quite far on it today, but it was going to take another day or two before it was finished. She pulled two of her own boards from the back wall and headed out to the front of the store. She leaned the boards against the wall behind the counter and placed her phone and keys in a drawer. When she heard the door ring, she looked up and saw Shelly enter. She stood up and watched Shelly moving toward her. Her hair was pulled up in a ponytail and her tight tee left Lacey almost panting. Lacey glanced down at the muscular legs that headed toward her.

"Hi," Shelly said as she walked up to the counter.

"Hi, how was your first full day?" Lacey asked as she stepped around the counter to Shelly.

"I had a good day and a great bunch of kids. How was yours?" Shelly took a step closer and reached out to touch Lacey's hand. She hadn't expected to react the way she was. She had been nervous on the way here. All she wanted right now was to kiss Lacey and press their bodies together.

"It just got better." Lacey took Shelly's hand in hers and led her into the back room. As soon as they were clear of the door, Lacey turned and Shelly was in her arms. Lacey's lips battled with Shelly's as they both pushed for control over the other. Lacey stepped forward until she felt Shelly's back hit the wall. She pushed her thigh in between Shelly's legs and pressed it up as she slid her tongue along Shelly's. She felt hands come to her hips and pull her closer. Lacey slid her hands up and squeezed Shelly's breasts in her palms. She felt Shelly grinding against her hip and reminded herself where they were. She pulled her lips back and opened her eyes to find Shelly panting and flushed.

"I've thought about you all day," Lacey whispered.

"Same here," Shelly admitted as she wiped her thumb across Lacey's lips. "I nearly dropped a girl on her head when she did a flip, I was so distracted." Shelly couldn't resist grinding her hips down against Lacey's thigh that was still pressing up against her. "It might be a good idea for you to move your leg."

Lacey pulled her leg back and leaned over to Shelly's ear. "If you only knew how badly I wanted to leave it right there. I would love to see how far you would go." She teased Shelly's ear with her tongue, and then sucked her earlobe into her mouth.

"If you don't stop, I'm going to show you exactly how far I will go." Shelly laid her hands on Lacey's chest and eased her away. "Do you happen to rent wetsuits, because I don't have anything like that for the cooler water?"

"Sure, I'll go get you one. Get anything you want to bring with you out of your bag and I'll lock it up in the office before we leave." Lacey stepped back out front and got a short suit off the rack and headed back through the doors. She unzipped the suit to remove the hangar and handed it to Shelly. She stepped back to watch as Shelly slipped her shorts down her legs. Lacey saw the smile right before Shelly lifted her shirt up and pulled it off. Lacey's breath actually caught at the sight of Shelly standing before her in a barely there bikini. Her full breasts were barely contained in the light blue material that covered them. Lacey glanced up and found Shelly watching her as she took in Shelly's bikini.
