"Roy?" her voice filtered into the wolf's ear and the wolf lowered its body to the ground in acknowledgment.
She reached for it, slowly, and her hand touched its ear fondly, Roy's wolf preened as its mate caressed it, "Thank you." She said softly.
His job was to protect her, she would soon learn that there was no need to thank him for doing what he was supposed to do, but Roy chose to savor the petting of his mate rather than dwell on such.

Anonymousover 6 years agoI'm obsessed with this story! All your characters are so enjoyable and their chemistry is scorching! Even with such little physical interaction between them so far, I can already tell when they finally do consummate their matings, it will be absolutely delectable. I'm also really interested in the witch's storyline, being secretly mated to the monster of the story. Please please please write more! Or if you've written more on another site, please share the link. I really want to find out the rest of this tale!
