A Whiter Christmas Than Ever

"We didn't use any protecting," I said, almost before I'd put the phone down.

"It's okay," Lisa assured me. "I'm on the pill. When I started boarding school this summer mum thought it would be the safest thing to do."

I must have looked funny because she laughed until she was in tears. Lisa and I spent two more wonderful days together alone before the roads were cleared. We stayed in the living room and kept it well heated. It was practical in more than one way, because I only had one set of clothes.

We laughed a lot the following two days. The wildest thing we did was when Lisa dared me to run out naked in the snow. God, it was cold, but it felt so good afterwards. Our skin was red like the skin of newborn piglets and so sensitive. Lisa's initial soreness quickly wore off, but we were both a little sore when my dad came to pick me up.

It was the most wonderful Christmas I've ever had. We said goodbye but with the promise of seeing each other again. I still call Lisa the best Christmas present I've ever had. It makes her smile.
