He kissed her back, tasting their combined juices on her finger. As he broke the kiss, he rolled on his back and pulled her up onto her side so she was now laying next to him with her head on his shoulder.
He stretched out for the bottle of wine and glasses that he had left by the bed but as he poured the wine and turned back over he saw that she had already closed her eyes and was breathing the long slow breaths of someone falling asleep. He smiled, put the glasses back, pulled the sheet up over the both of them and snuggled up against her again. She stirred just long enough to kiss his lips gently and then she wrapped one arm across his chest and lay her head back on his shoulder.
