The Senate Compound is North of the Presidential Compound, and the Lower House Compound is South. They are not as large, but each has a dedicated shuttle port.

- Denders Resort Within one hour of capital by shuttle transport. Found on the South-West coast near what was once the city of Phoenix, large earthquakes having calved off much of the old West coast which exists now as large islands if the land mass exists at all.

Johal, AhmedDeceased businessman originally from Anuura. Made a fortune in interplanetary trade between Anuura and Terra. Owner of the Johal Compound, willed to the Church of Andanii with the stipulation that members of the Church of Andanii on Terra, most of which are at the Denders Resort, be allowed unrestricted access to the tiny Temple of Andanii in the compound.

Johal CompoundLocated on the South-West coast of North America in the area of what was once the city of Phoenix, large earthquakes having calved off much of the old West Coast which are now islands if they exist at all. Contains the only Temple of Andanii on Terra, a once plain temple that was restored and rebuild by Henadi Noor as an act of contrition turning it into the beautiful little temple it now is.

Ten minutes by ground transport from Denders Resort. Johal allowed members of the Church of Andanii to pray at the temple while he was alive, thus bringing extra business from Anuura to Denders Resort.

The compound was left in the will of Ahmed Johal to the Church of Andanii with the stipulation that the tradition of allowing members of the Church of Andanii at the Denders resort to attend the temple be continued. Misused by Senator Andjuran who uses it as a HQ for his none senatorial mostly criminal businesses. Andjuran used the movement of people between the resort and the temple to hide the constant contact he had with the pirate guilds. First seen in chapter twelve.

109 Piscium Star System, 106 ly from Terra

- Liramor-23 Mining Platform (LMC-23), 109 Piscium System, 106 Light Years from Terra

- Asteroid belt was a planet that self destructed 24,000 yrs ago. Despite the distances and that they do not have FTL drives, the original inhabitants of the Piscium system still entomb their special elite in local cemeteries, last done 360 yrs ago.

Battles of Liramor-23Liramor-23 has been attacked on three separate occasions by pirates.

First Battle of:The First Battle of Liramor-23 consisted of 14 pirate vessels that attacked the platform, all of which were severally damaged and had to be scrapped in location. The supply ships all had slaves on board, who were rescued by the Navy. See chapter seven.

Second Battle of:The Second Battle of Liramor-23 consisted of seventeen pirate vessels including eight warships and nine supply ships. All were captured or destroyed, however, the platform was severally damaged with much loss of life, as were many of the ships of the Piscium Defence Force. See chapter seventeen. The Navy claimed three of the

Third Battle of:The Third Battle of Liramor-23 consisted of the pirate vessel The Pegasus Guardian, engaging the platform with nuclear weapons, in an attempt to claim the 5,000,000 credit bounty on Fiona Marsh. The ship was engaged and the Captain killed by a torpedo. The ship then surrendered and was claimed as a prize ship by the Navy, given the name NS Pegasus, and given to the Piscium Defence Force, making it the tenth vessel in Fiona's command. See chapter twenty-four.

CemeteryThis cemetery contains the remains of the original inhabitants of the Piscium system. It has been in existence since before the destruction of the Piscium planet. It leads Raymond Clark to the Insectoid Station, which is not too far away. First seen in the prologue.

Insectoid StationThe mining station constructed by the Insectoids and destroyed by the original inhabitants of the Piscium system. The station is three light minutes from Liramor-23 and is always referred to as 'the station' verses the platform in order to distinguish it from Liramor-23.

The station is more rectangular in construction from a distance but looked like a series of immense tubes stuck to each other the closer one got to it. Other than the overall rectangular exterior look, there were almost no straight lines, everything being curves running into each other. Even the bay doors and hatches are circular, with a spiral shaped diaphragm that opened and closed in a circular pattern versus the two halves of bay doors on human stations/platforms.

First seen in the prologue.

Liramor-23 The Liramor-23 Mining Platform was originally built in the later stages of the Terran Union War. For this reason, it is armed with four Mk-48 (improved) twin gun pulse cannon, two at the top of the platform and two at the bottom in turrets one above the other that can rotate 360˚, the upper turret can bring its guns to near 90˚ in elevation. The improved version of the Mk-48 has the firepower of the standard Mk-20 pulse cannon.

The platform is mirrored so that everything above and below the central ring of ore ovens is identical. However, the deck numbers are all different, with twenty-six decks named alphabetically, from deck Alpha to deck Mike, above the central ring and deck November to deck Zulu, below the central ring, the central ring not being named, though each ore oven is numbered one to eighteen, with a corresponding working cage for each oven.

The platform has accommodation for 12,000 miners, crew, and staff, but holds just over 8,000 at the beginning of the story. An extension of 200m to the width and height of the platform will allow it to add an additional 12,000 personnel, however, the need to accommodate families, a UDC embassage, a commercial shopping concours, a university, and other sundries means that it will house a maximum of just shy of 21,000.

The platform is 1,500m in length and 1,050m in width before the upgrade and 1,700m in length and 1,250m in width after the upgrade. There are 26 decks with 24 decks being 4m in height.

There are 18 ore 'ovens' in the Ore Ring, which is at the mid-point of the platform. An ore oven is 404m in height, 300m in depth, and 69.4m in width each. The height is required for the continuous ore processing operations being conducted above the ovens prior to smelting the ore in the ovens. Each of the ore processing stages breaks the raw ore down from the surrounding useless rock and then pushes them into the ovens where they are smelted into the respective minerals and metals. An ore 'oven' actually can consist of up to four ovens in line that are designed to work at different temperatures in order to process different metals. Ore ovens in theory are dedicated to specific cages, however, some ore ovens are dedicated to specific types of metals, such as titanium, and will receive all the ore of such nature.

There are 24 maintenance bays consisting of 12 bays above and below the Ore Ring. They are numbered as decks Mike and November; however, they are usually just referred to by their maintenance bay number i.e. Maintenance Bay 08 (M-08). There are 16 bays 400m in height, 300m in depth, and 104.17m in width. This allows ships up to 100m in width to enter the bay. The extra height in the bay allows for gantry cranes to work above the larger vessels. There are also 8 double width bays that are at 208.34m wide which allows for even and the large Fairling Class Frigates to conduct repairs on the platform.

There are 48 smaller Construction Bays, above and below the maintenance bays on decks Lima and Oscar. Once again, they are usually referred to by their bay numbers i.e. Construction Bay 11 (C-11). The construction bays are used for all manner of construction and maintenance purposes where the larger maintenance bays are not required. On other stations they are used to provide a location to build items, thus the name 'Construction' bays. These bays are currently underused on LMC-23 with several not being in service so three are provided to the Piscium Scientific Investigation Team.

The standard construction bay 200m in height, 300m in length and 52m in width. However, there 30 standard construction bays while the remaining 18 are of irregular sizes being smaller in width and height and larger in width but not in height. Three of the construction bays (C1-C3) are now designated as VIP shuttle bays for smaller vessels such as the Princess Class or VIP shuttles. They have passenger gangways built in so that the bay need not be pressurized in order for passengers to disembark.

There is a large hospital on Hotel deck with the surgeries and trauma centers at or near the center of platform, in the most protected locations. There is no corresponding hospital in the lower half. This will now be the shopping concours.

An Terran Union Embassy for the new Alien species is being constructed in the upper half of the platform. Several accommodations near the embassy are designated as guest rooms for VIP's and Alien embassy personnel.

Anar, HanaleiPSMDS-TU, Wife of Fayad Piscium, who she met at Denders Resort, Terra. Widow of Temet Halar, who she suspects that Andjuran's people had killed. Taken in by Andjuran's household when she is declared 'Fullohd'. She is a spy for Andjuran but gives herself to Fayad when she discovers him to be a pious man with a future. She then serves Fayad and Navy Intelligence by sending information on Andjuran at great risk to herself. Beautiful, tall, willowy, with soft brown hair, and deep blue -- almost purple eyes. First seen in chapter twelve.
