Ambassadors of Aldadiir

Amund and Astrid: Taken

Humanity's second colony in the Helios System, Aphrodite, was quite a bit hotter than Earth (now usually called Terra). It got its name in part by being almost as close to Helios as Venus was to Sol, and because it really was a beautiful planet. The local joke, though, was that Aphrodite was as hot as the goddess she was named after because the planet was covered in warm oceans and steaming jungles of massive, primeval trees often cloaked in thick mists. It was much more livable than Venus (obviously) but the current human settlers preferred the polar regions by far. Aphrodite was on a much slighter tilt than good old mother Terra, or even the larger, cooler planet in this system that Humanity colonized first: Gaia. It was also smaller than either Terra or Gaia, giving its settlers a slender, willowy build.

Amund Lokken was currently avoiding both of those traits of Aphrodite's civilization, though. His cobbled-together 'laboratory' (read: glorified workshop) was kept at a very chilly 16 degrees Celsius and had the internal gravity cranked up to 1.2 Terran Gravities (roughly similar to Gaia's gravity, actually). Certainly, everything was a bit heavier, but Amund worried all the time that living on a planet with only .7 Terran Gravities would make him weak and frail. He certainly did not look that weak and frail, although a lifetime of low gravity only occasionally interspersed with high-gravity workouts - all under the thick misty cover of Aphrodite's clouds - had made the blond-haired blue-eyed young man tall and pale, almost ethereal in appearance. Aphroditeaens were only on their second generation, and already the planet promised to produce some of the most beautiful specimens of humanity.

Not that Amund was thinking about any of that. No, he was too busy wiping the cold sweat off his forehead. This had better work. Two months ago he had intercepted some strange signal, purely by accident, and had been obsessed with decoding it. And it looked like he was close.

Then, the impossible: a message came back.

Amund's eyes went wide, and he fired another signal out. The message was either encoded or outright alien; it was not in any form he recognized. Reaching to his sleeve, he activated the Cell link between his headpiece and his sister's.

"Astrid, you are never going to believe this!" he exulted. "But I think I might have just found a non-human intelligence!"

Unlike her brother, who enjoyed the chill indoors and more Terran-like gravities, Astrid had embraced the great outdoors and everything that roamed there. She thought her brother's worry about being weak was a bit nonsense. She never planned on leaving this paradise of a colony, so why train oneself for a different environment? Besides, out in the open as she was, it was hard to mess with gravity's setting. Even if they could, it should not be attempted for the animals' sake.

Astrid twitched slightly when the band around her wrist suddenly pulsed with an incoming message. Someone had activated a communication link. Probably her brother - not a lot of other people contacted her at this hour. This was mostly because she was busy tending the local fauna at the outdoor research facility at which she spent her workdays. Unfortunately, at the time of the communication from Amund, she had the foot of a very long-legged deer-like creature in her hand and was trying to use a stick to pry out a thorn that had somehow gotten wedged in the soft center of the poor beast's hooflike foot.

The tall blonde beauty shifted to get the hoof more firmly between her legs before the beast could wriggle out of her grip. Then she quickly poked at her watch with her newly freed hand. It had been muted so that a sudden sound in her earpiece wouldn't startle her and cause her to scare the animals. She only heard the last part of her brother's boast.

"Well, I currently have the foot of a non-human intelligent creature between my legs. What's your point?" she asked in a hushed tone, knowing fully what his point was. It amused her to be intentionally difficult sometimes. He could probably picture clearly the amused quirk of his sister's lips - the expression she always had when pestering her brother.

"I am not speaking merely of animal intelligence, but of full-on technologically advanced sapience!" Amund replied. "You know that strange signal that was dismissed a few months back as background radiation after our parents failed to find anything from it? Well, after locking down on the... never mind the details. I just got a message back from them!" Amund checked the receiving monitor again. More of those bizarre, flowing letters appeared on the screen. Then, for a moment, a face. It was of a woman, skin black as coal, eyes glowing points of white light. Her ears were pointed, and instead of hair, her head was topped with some alien frill sweeping back in smooth ridges. It was impossible to make out much more. Then, she was gone.

Amund swallowed. "Astrid, you have got to see this. I am sending you a picture now." He grabbed the clearest frame and sent it to his twin's Cell link. "There! Either this is a prank, or we have-"

Then, his communicator cut off.

"Amund, are you sure they aren't Russian again?" she asked with amusement clear in her tone. Then there was a grunt of effort coming from her end. "There! I got it - no no no shh, it's okay. I have to bandage it and then you're free - there." In her dealings with the creature, she didn't notice that Amund had cut off abruptly.

The blonde watched for a moment as the long-legged creature tested its foot. Then she looked at the picture of the... thing on her communicator. Clearly it was some sort of prank. A person in a mask with LED lights in the eyes or just really bad CGI. She smiled and shook her head in disbelief, then lowered her watch. But the image of the person didn't go away. For some reason, it was still projected in front of her face. Wait it wasn't a-

Astrid's communicator cut off as well. Not that there was anyone there to notice.

--

How much time had passed since the black-faced alien had manifested in front of him, seeming to step through some rift in reality, Amund had no clue. He had babbled out something incoherent before all went dark.

When he came to, he was naked and sitting in what seemed to be a containment tank. It was rather large, with some sort of pool on one side. 'Some sort' was accurate, as instead of being horizontal, the water was vertical, held in place by some strange field that allowed him through but no water. It meant that he could go swimming and step out dry, which was cool. The floor of the chamber was soft, like a bed, almost, and there were some pillows. And that was it for the inside.

Outside was a whole different story. One side of the tank was darkened so that no one could see in or out, but the other side was clear, and several of the blue-skinned aliens were busily running around. It seemed to be some sort of laboratory. [You call yourself a Human, then? A resident of the planet Aphrodite?] A voice beamed into his head. The voice was clearly feminine, as were most of the figures on the lab. Very, very clearly feminine, as their painted-on clothes left no doubt.

"Yes," he said. "Can I have some clothes?"

[No]. The mental voice replied.

Amund sighed and looked back over at the water. There was nothing to do here. Well, nothing but watch the aliens at work. They were quite fascinating. The only problem was that staring too long at the buxom blue space seductresses gave him an erection, and he had no clothes with which to hide that fact.

[Your species does not use Mana?] The voice came again

"What is mana?" Amund asked.

The blue aliens shook their heads and went back to work. A green-skinned and suited woman walked into the room, handing one of the blue women a package, and stepped away. Amund widened his eyes. How many colors of these things were there? And why were they all so hot? And why was he naked in a containment tank? Ugh. He wanted to be out there as an ambassador to the first advanced race humans had ever met. Not in here as a scientific specimen.

--

The next thing Astrid knew was the fact that she was walking - even though she was pretty sure she had just been unconscious - naked through strange hallways. There were windows periodically that showed scenes of space and of a planet around which they were orbiting. She gathered that she was in a space station. To either side of her, strange red bipedal almost human creatures walked. They were lightly armored. Presumably guards. A blue one walked in front of her, very likely something of the same species, for they looked nearly identical aside from their coloration. All three were female, which Astrid was thankful for. She was uncomfortable enough as it was being completely naked.

The first thing on her mind besides her surroundings was the fact that she could not see or hear her brother. He was probably quite safe in that glorified workshop of his, thank the Lord. Or at least she thought she should be thankful for that fact. It shamed her to know she would be so much more comfortable if he was here with her, and she wished Amund was in this probably awful situation with her. With more clothes on both of them, of course, because ew.

"Where are you taking me? What am I doing here?" she asked in the off-chance that they could understand her.

[To your enclosure. Be silent] came a feminine voice in her head. The blue woman looked back at her for a moment. Astrid had a feeling that it was her voice.

Astrid did as she was told and walked as silently as possible. Which was quite silent indeed, considering how light on her feet she was. One needed that skill in her line of work, where animals everywhere could be spooked by the slightest of things. It wasn't like she had any other choice other than to follow directions. She probably couldn't take even one of the red women in a fight. The blue one, maybe. If she had time to study her for a while.

They led her to a door that smoothly slid open. All she could see through it was a big, blacked-out... well, she assumed it was a window. The blue lady stepped aside and motioned for Astrid to enter. Astrid balked. She didn't know if she wanted to go in there. She was pushed, though, and it was either fall on her face or stumbled forward. The human chose the latter.

So, beginning a little less than gracefully and ending quite gracefully indeed to make up for it, Astrid half-jogged into the room in her full, pale, slender beauty. At some point, the multicolored alien creatures had seen fit to remove all the hair that was not growing out of her head. Everything was clear to be seen: the delicate pink lips of her womanhood as well as her full, youthful breasts and well-rounded ass.

While he was intently watching the blue aliens, the [Aldadiir], as they had finally identified themselves, Amund heard some door open up. He stood up and turned to the side, looking to see what had come through. It was Astrid. A fully naked Astrid. He swallowed and moved his hand down to hide his half-erect cock. Like Astrid, the aliens had apparently seen fit to 'clean' him by removing all body hair. Though lanky, he was well-muscled from his constant use of higher gravities. "Astrid?" He asked incredulously, his eyes briefly going up and down his twin's body before looking away, his face red. "They have you too, huh." He said slowly. "Welcome to my little cage. The water is fine, but there is nothing else to do."

Astrid blinked and looked around her enclosure as soon as she was certain that she would not tumble forward into it. Thus, she caught sight of her brother a moment after he observed her entrance. At first, a wide smile spread across her face. Amund was here! She wasn't alone with those terrifying people after all! But... she was naked, and he was naked and oh dear this was terribly awkward. Yeah, she'd seen him naked before. When they were kids and those sorts of things didn't matter. But now... well, now he was a handsome young man if she forgot about the fact that he was her brother. Astrid was not about to forget that little detail. She let out a soft cough and lifted one arm to cover her breasts - well, her nipples, anyway, since there was no way one arm was going to cover it all. The other hand dropped to conceal her sex.

"Amund. Good to... see you?" She winced. If she hadn't already been blushing a brilliant crimson out of embarrassment, her face would have gotten red all over again. "You don't happen to know where we are and who we're with, do you?"

"Yeah, to get at least some of this awkwardness out of the way, I am going to go ahead and acknowledge the little faux pas of saying 'good to see you' when we are both naked, and move on." Amund said wryly. His tone was the amused annoyance of someone trying to make the best of a bad situation.

"Sorry." She said, looking somewhat mortified at her accidental words. Acknowledging the awkwardness did make it a little better, though.

He sat down on one of the pillows, facing away from his sister towards the Aldadiir. "I probably know less than you do. We are in a laboratory, surrounded by aliens. And apparently we were living in a soft sci-fi setting all this time (which humanity should have realized after we discovered FTL twenty years ago) because the aliens look inexplicably like very svelte humans dipped in paint with rubber ears and heads. Very cheap on the show budget, dontcha know."

Astrid walked up to join her brother. Except, instead of sitting on a pillow, she grabbed it and hugged it. It was both comforting and concealing - and comforting that it was concealing. So it made her feel better. She looked out over towards the strange women - the Aldadiir. "Guess that means that sci-fi was just plain old science all along. Huh. I guess we can be glad that they're not hideous, oozing things."

A chuckle from Amund. "Indeed. Being in here naked and vulnerable would be quite a bit worse if they were all Aboleths or Illithids or whatever. But from an awkwardness perspective, I would prefer if they were like the Greys or something. It is rather embarrassing to be in here naked in front of all these women. Imagine if instead the laboratory out there was filled with muscular guys staring at you, and you can understand a bit of my predicament." He sighed. "I do not think they are a single sexed race, at least. I did see this one blue man walk through very briefly."

"Amund! I'm uncomfortable enough as it is without imagining - oh. Oh, I see what you're saying." She hugged her pillow a little bit tighter. The heat of embarrassment was still brilliant on her features.

"Exactly," Amund said dryly. He still was not looking at her, but her tone told him that she was blushing right now. Which he was very much doing as well, though he was trying to be cool about it.

Outside, the Aldadiir seemed to be confused about something, and several of them appeared to be having an animated conversation. Complete with very suggestive hand movements. Amund frowned. "What is going on with them?"

"Why do you think they aren't allowing us clothing? They clearly do. I mean, it's skin-tight, but it's better than nothing..." She trailed off as she watched the conversation on the other side of the glass. "What ARE they talking about?" Whatever it was, it was starting to make her worried.

"I have no idea why they are refusing us clothing. I asked them specifically, and they told me nothing." He sighed, then narrowed his eyes as a taller one of the blue women pointed her finger at Astrid, then him, while talking to one of the shorter blue women.

"They did not tell me anything except to forbid clothing as well," Astrid agreed.

Then, a thought burst into the enclosure. [Human female, why are you not copulating with the male we have given you?] Amund's eyes went wide, and despite himself, he looked over at his sister to see what she would say. Before remembering that she was naked and looking away again.

Astrid made a little strangled noise in her throat. "Wh-wh-I-I-" she began to babble with complete incredulity. She didn't think it was possible, but she was blushing even more furiously. She swore she could feel her neck and chest turning crimson as well. After a couple of flustered tries, she managed to say, "BUT HE'S MY BROTHER!" Her eyes very temporarily met Amund's before flashing away. That moment really did not seem like the time to stare into each other's eyes.

The tall woman frowned. Apparently their expressions were human as well. [We know that he is kin to you. Your twin. Should not that make you closer? What better male to copulate with than a twin?] It seemed to be the tall woman's mind voice, for whenever the voice came, her eyes went from looking like ordinary cerulean blue human ones to pure white lights.

Amund swallowed. "Humans do not mate with their siblings. It is taboo because it makes our offspring unhealthy."

These people were really messed up. One's twin was not supposed to be- Astrid shuddered. It was just gross. "Humans need genetic variety!" she agreed with her brother. "And... and besides that, it's just wrong. He's not my husband. So you can forget about us... doing that." She curled up even closer to her pillow.

"Indeed. Humans are supposed to choose one mate for life, and that mate cannot be a close relation," Amund added.

[Silence, male.] The tall Aldadiir flashed her eyes. Amund grabbed his head and gritted his teeth. The tall Aldadiir turned back towards Astrid. [We do not want you to conceive yet. It seems that you do not have the Mana skill to prevent conception, so we will do that for you.] Her eyes glowed again, and it felt for a split moment that something in Astrid's womb was tugged on. [It was not needed. You are not ovulating. You can have sex with this male without fear of conception.]

A full-body shudder went through Astrid. For a moment... ugh, they had been inside her with their minds. That was a deeply disturbing thought. Deeply disturbing.

"I do not want to have sex with my brother!" she insisted. Her voice was slightly high-pitched with disbelief. She really couldn't believe that she was where she was, let alone having this conversation with blue scientist perverts. "Besides, his sperm can remain viable for days inside of me after - you know."

Amund looked like he was going to say something, but one of the other women flashed her eyes and he gripped his head again. Instead, the tall Aldadiir spoke. [We can prevent you from conceiving, we already said. But... you do not want to have sex?] Her mental tone was of disbelief. [Is... is sex not fun for your species? How do you reproduce then?] One of the other women leaned over and started talking to the tall one, who seemed to understand. She nodded, then turned back to Astrid. [It seems that I missed that your species likes to only choose one mate. That is understandable for a female. Well, that mate is your brother for now. So, mate with him.]

"There's no 'for now' with humans!" Astrid protested. "We mate for life with one person, and even that isn't until a whole involved ceremony is completed and we are officiated by a man of God. You can't just announce that we're mates and be done with it. And of course sex feels good, but just because it feels good, it doesn't mean that it should be done!"
