After a time, he pulled out and helped her stand up. He kissed her softly, pressing his tongue into her mouth. They kissed playfully and he wrapped his arms around her and squeezed her. She laughed and he smiled. Sated, they began to slowly walk down the mountain, walking in joyful silence. River could feel his warmth still inside her. This, finally, was happiness. She knew just what she would write in her first letter to Alice.
