Click here'Josh, come to the command tent. There is something going down.' Susan called across the comm link.
'Twenty seconds.' Josh said, turning on his heel.
He tore across the compound, taking just about eighteen seconds to reach the command tent. He ran inside just as the commotion died down. He looked around. The Captain was standing in the center of the room with her gun in her hand and two marines on either side of her. Susan stood across the tent from Josh.
An man was lying on the ground across the table from the captain, one of his eyes was shot out. Upon closer examination, Josh realized he was an android. He looked exactly like a human, short blonde hair and cold blue eyes, his face looked mid-thirties. He was wearing an officer's jump suit.
"What happened?" Josh asked urgently.
"He finally gave himself away. I knew there was an informant in my officers, but I didn't know who. Today, he managed to give himself away by revealing a piece of vital information about you and Susan that I haven't told anyone. So I shot him on the spot." The Captain said, putting her gun away.
"So how did an android get into your command?" Josh asked
"Well...I didn't know he was an android. He was built even more stealthy than you and Susan. He even fooled organic sensors. He eats, breathes and takes a crap like every other officer. Damn good stealth." The Captain said, "Probably a hundred years ahead of its time."
"Damn..." Josh said, kneeling down by it.
The android suddenly twitched and grabbed Josh around the neck. It got to its feet and held Josh off the ground in one hand.
"Wrong move." Josh smiled, grabbing the android's arm.
He squeezed and pulled as hard as he could, but the android didn't budge.
"Time traveler. You must be eliminated." The android said, a red light glowing in its destroyed eye socket.
"Open fire!" The Captain called and the marines started to fire at it.
Bullets pattered the androids body and pierced its skin, but it seemed to have no effect whatsoever. The android started to crush Josh's neck and he felt the electronic connections in his neck start to get damaged. Josh's eyes snapped wide and he raised his arm. He smashed the android on the arm with a full strength blow and managed to sever his arm from his body. But the hand kept crushing his throat.
Josh grabbed the thumb and forefinger around his neck and managed to pry it off. He threw it to the ground and the android smiled. The hand crawled back to him and turned into molten metal at it's foot. The molten metal absorbed into it and its arm regrew. The bullet holes closed and its eye returned to normal.
"RX-2000, model number one. You too must be eliminated. You were not to come into this time either." The android said, pointing at Susan.
At this comment, Josh lunged. He knew he could not overpower this android for some reason, but he could get it away from Susan. He tackled the android around the midsection and lifted him off the ground easily. The android was mildly taken aback by his attack and Josh ran through the side of the tent, ripping a hole in it. He carried the android another fifty feet before the android wriggled about and managed to get his feet on the ground. He halted Josh on the spot and picked him up. Throwing Josh over his shoulder, he tried to smash Josh into the ground, but Josh got his feet down.
The android twisted around and was about to punch Josh in the face when he stopped cold. His flesh started to fluctuate slightly and he fell into a limp pile.
Susan was standing behind him with a weapon all androids feared. A high powered anti-electronic taser. It could produce enough power to fry or short out every circuit in an android. A simple, but brutal weapon.
"Are you alright?" Susan asked.
"Fine. Let's get this bastard locked up or something." Josh said flatly.
"Take him into the tent over there. Daniel is in there and he can take care of it." The Captains said.
"Daniel?" Josh asked.
"The lab tech that upgraded you two." The Captain said.
"Gotcha. I'll do that." Josh nodded.
*******
"This is unbelievable. It's an amorphous liquid metal android. He has no single power core or processor, shooting and stabbing would do nothing. He generates power through the movement of molecules and his mind is in pretty much every cell." Daniel said, looking over the android.
"How are you keeping him under?" Josh asked.
"I've got a power drain system on him that will keep him from getting enough power to do anything more than blink." Daniel said, pointing at the straps around the androids wrist and ankles as well as the four large wires inserted into the android's chest, "He's producing a considerable amount of power and its being put to use to help run my equipment."
"So can you figure out where it came from?" Susan asked, looking over the android.
"That's what these are for. I'm trying to section and pin his consciousness in order to suck him dry for information. Then I should also be able to erase and reprogram his mind to make him fight for us." Daniel said, pointing at the two long rods inserted in the android's head.
"Keep us updated. Wherever this thing came from, we need to figure it out because whoever it is is helping the rebels." Josh said.
"Gotcha!" Daniel said, sitting down at his computer.
*******
"Oh my god..." Daniel said flatly.
"Whazzat?!" Josh jerked awake at his exclamation.
"Josh, you won't believe this. I got the data out of the android and I found out where he was made!" Daniel said.
Josh got to his feet and walked over to him. He had been dozing on a chair in the corner of the tent.
"Well?" Josh asked, leaning down next to Daniel.
"Akyatoriama Robotics." Daniel said, showing him the data file from the android.
"I know that name..." Josh tapped his chin trying to recall.
"You should. It's the number one contractor for the military they build damn near everything we use except for our space ships." Daniel said.
"No that's not it...where do I know that name from." Josh sighed, closing his eyes.
"What's goin' on?" Susan strode through the entrance of the tent.
"Do you know the company Akyatoriama Robotics?" Josh asked.
"Yea, it's where I was made." Susan said, "My original body at least."
"That's where I know it from!" Josh exclaimed, "In my time Akyatoriama Robotics is a leading producer of household robots."
"Yea and now they're a multi-trillion dollar business that produces everything from household cleaning robots to military androids like yourself." Daniel said, "I wonder how the rebels got their hands on it?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Susan said flatly.
"What?" Josh asked.
"They have it because Akyatoriama Robotics gave it to them." Susan said matter-of-factly.
"Why would they give it to the rebels if they're helping the Earthen military?" Josh asked.
"Just think, if this war came to an end, what would Akyatoriama Robotics be left with? No more big bucks military contracts or emergency government spending." Susan said.
"Are you trying to say that Akyatoriama Robotics orchestrated this whole war?" Daniel said with a raised eyebrow.
"It's possible. It's also possible that they're just trying to make the war drag out by giving the rebels stuff like this." Susan said, "You've got all the evidence you need right there. Take it to the Captain and get this information to the higher-ups."
"I think I'd just like to speak with the Captain first." Daniel said, "If Akyatoriama Robotics is doing what you say they are, it's not an easy thing to fight such a large corporation. They're almost more of a government then we are."
"Come on, let's bring this to the Captain." Josh said, turning around.
*******
Josh, Susan and Daniel sat around a table with the Captain. They were explaining it to her and hoping for good results. The Captain's tent was empty and guarded from the outside by marines.
"Are you trying to tell me that the military's number one contractor is also supplying the rebels?" The Captain said seriously, "Because if so, we've got a serious problem that requires investigation. However, the only proof we have so far is one android from them that the rebels could've purchased without them knowing or they could've stolen it."
"Unlikely. This android is a hundred years beyond our technological level. Its body is amorphous electricity generating liquid metal and it has no central core. It's body is one giant processor, mostly immune to damage." Daniel explained, "It is very unlikely that the rebels got their hands on such an advanced technology without somebody knowing about it."
"It would also explain how the rebels managed to calculate a full speed DD exit in system around Mars." Susan said.
"Good point." The Captain said, thinking.
"So what do we do then?" Josh asked.
"We investigate this. Take the android to the Akyatoriama building on Mars and inquire about it." The Captain said, "No reason to take this to higher ups until we have some solid proof from the business."
"Do you really think they'll tell us anything?" Josh said flatly, "They're a massive military contractor, I think they can lie to us."
"Of course they can Josh, that's why one of you will hack their network while I'm asking questions. If you can get any info, shipping manifestos or anything like that, we'll be golden." The Captain said.
"Are you sure we should be going off and doing this on our own?" Josh asked uncertainly.
"I'm notorious for going off on my own and making trouble for my commanders." The Captain said with a smile, "But I've never failed in my outlandish methods."
"Well its your choice." Josh shrugged.
"We've just about finished up on this planet anyway. I can recall my marines and take off at any time. So let's get going." The Captain said, standing up.
"I'll start packing." Daniel said simply.
*******
The last shuttle docked on the ship and a dockworker gave the Captain the go-ahead.
"All ahead full, bring us into the different dimension at full speed. Course set for Mars." The Captain said.
"Yes ma'am!" An officer said.
"Come get me if anything serious happens. However please knock." The Captain said, "Shock has command of the vessel in my absence."
"Yes Captain." Shock appeared on the bridge.
The Captain walked down the hall and back to her room, which was within a two minute casual walk from the bridge. She pressed her thumb to the keypad and the door slid open. The door slid closed behind her and she looked around. Her room wasn't all that special, but it was a little bit bigger than the normal room and she had it to herself. In one corner was a nice single mattress with a plush blanket on it. There was a small closet and a single table at the foot of the bed, attached to that wall. There were two chairs around it.
Walking across the room, The Captain entered the bathroom and flicked on the light. The bathroom door closed and she started to unzip her one piece yellow-gold skin-tight suit. The zipper went down to her pudenda and she sighed as her skin started to breath again. The suits were nice and simple, even quite functional, but she couldn't wear it for much more than half a day.
Stripping it off her shoulders, she pulled it off her arms and pushed it down to her waist. Her perky B cups prickled at the touch of air on her bare nipples. Pulling it down past her well toned backside, she pulled it off the rest of the way and tossed it in a bin under the sink. Looking in the mirror, she looked over her body, naked except for her pink lacy panties. She sighed and started to pull out her long white braids.
The Captain almost forgot her name sometimes. Being the Captain gave her a new name and nobody every just called her Anna anymore. It was always ma'am or Captain or madam. She wished that her ship wasn't so over the top GI sometimes. She didn't have very many actual friends and no real friends on her ship. None that saw her as anything but their Captain at least.
Anna pulled her hair out behind her and took a comb from the counter and went back into her room, brushing out the long white locks. She sat down on the bed and rhythmically brushed out her long hair. Anna started to think about her life. She hadn't ever really had a man, nor had she even really had a crush. Nobody seemed to be able to enter her military life.
Setting the comb aside on the table, she laid back on the bed and scooted under the blankets. She began to think about her life and wonder if she made the right decision, becoming whole heartedly enveloped in the military. As she thought about her life she realized, the last time she had sex was in high school. She was thinking of that because her thoughts had turned to Susan and Josh, her two new additions to her crew.
The way the two looked at each other, Anna hadn't seen two in love like that since her own parents. The two had even insisted on realistic android bodies so that they could still do what they do in bed, of which Anna could only imagine.
She felt a warmth start to grow inside her, something she hadn't felt in a long time. Her insides started to knot up and her pelvis cringed up. Anna felt a pleasurable tension inside her and she reached down to touch the front of her panties. A small moan escaped her lips as her finger tickled the outside of her panties.
"Ooooh..." Anna moaned quietly as she rubbed herself.
The pleasure she was feeling was something she hadn't felt in years. She used to masturbate regularly, but when she became Captain of her own ship, she became far too busy the first couple of months. After that, she had broken the habit and kind of forgot about sexual pleasure. However, she was quickly remembering it as her fingers rubbed up and down her wet spot.
"Aaaahhh..." Anna sighed, pulling her hand away.
She pushed her hand down into her panties and touched her clitoris with a small moan. Anna's fingers moved further and rubbed down between her lips. She gave a moan and pushed her head back into the pillow. An electric pleasure tingled through her body, first running down to her toes and then backtracking all the way to the top of her head. Anna slipped a finger into her lonely hole and gave a coo. She felt a jitter and her body bristled. She shuddered, her muscles convulsed slightly and her body grew slick with sweat. Her finger moved faster and she rubbed at one of her breasts.
Her chest tightened with pleasure and her breath came in short, quick breaths. Her chest rose and fell as her heart beat faster. She started to tense all over and her pelvic muscles convulsed and contracted. Her orgasm hit her like a bomb and every muscle in her body clenched tight. Her pelvis pushed up and she could feel herself clench around her finger. She gave a loud cry and fell back into bed, panting heavily. Her long white hair stuck about her body and her heart thumped in her chest. The pleasure faded out and she was left lying quiet in the darkness, listening to the sound of the ship around her.
"I've missed that...what pleasure those two must have..." Anna sighed, thinking of Josh and Susan, "How lucky."
She rolled over and curled her arms under her pillow. Anna closed her eyes in the darkness and sighed contently. She fell asleep soon after.
*******
Susan and Josh were sitting in the cafeteria of the Sabre, waiting for them to reach Mars. The Captain had apparently gone to bed a little while earlier, however Susan and Josh were neither tired nor horny. So they resigned themselves to sitting in the cafeteria telling riddles to each other.
"How many sides does a circle have?" Susan asked, "And don't bother trying to calculate it."
"So it's a trick question...hmm...well...it's not three hundred and sixty three..." Josh thought.
"Nope." Susan said.
"Okay...well...it would be impossible to count molocules or anything like that...so...the answer must be one side or two." Josh said.
"Right, now which one is it?" Susan asked.
"Depends on the dimensions. A circle, being two dimensional, would have two. The front and back. A three demensional would have one, the outside." Josh postulated.
"Right!" Susan said.
"Okay...well...What is useless and flat when empty but handy and round when full?" Josh asked.
"That's easy, a glove!" Susan said matter-of-factly.
"Got it!" Josh smiled.
"I'm smart when people don't want me to be, dull when I'm going away and I can control children like no other." Susan said.
"Smart...dull...controlling...I...well..." Josh tapped his forehead and thought, "That's a tough one."
"Take your time. I'm going to get a drink." Susan said, getting up.
"For what purpose?" Josh asked inquisitively.
"Soda tastes good." Susan shrugged.
She returned with a paper cup of soda and took a sip of it. Josh leaned across the table and flicked her in the forehead.
"Hey! You know that could've hurt." Susan said.
"Exactly! You're pain!" Josh laughed.
"Right!" Susan laughed.
"Okay, so here's one that took me a year to guess and it won me you." Josh said finally.
"Alright." Susan said with a smile.
He relayed the entire riddle of the three gods to her and her face fell. Her eyes looked down at her soda and she looked back up at him. Josh had a wide smile on his face.
"Damn!" She said, "You managed to answer that? Give me a bit, I know I can."
"Hey, it only took me a year." Josh chuckled, "Let me know when you get it."
Josh got up and walked away.
*******
Josh sat on the floor next to the Captain's chair on the bridge. They had been talking for quite a while about Josh and Susan's relationship as well as Josh's life before he came to the future.
"A college professor huh?" The Captain said.
"Yea, not where I thought I would go with my life, but it was good nevertheless. I enjoyed teaching my students, it was a nice life. I never really had a girlfriend until Susan, and even then, our relationship was odd. She was an android whom I barely knew and I was, to her, her master. She loved me, but not really of her own accord, I think it was more of a programmed thing." Josh explained.
"Really? What happened to change it?" The Captains said.
"Well, when we went forward in time and I was given the chance to live with her forever, I took it. I feel like over the last few weeks, we've really grown close together. I don't know if it was the fact that we were both androids or the fact that we pretty much share minds now." Josh said.
"You share minds? I thought you just could speak to each other." The Captain asked.
"Yea, we share everything that passes through our minds. When we swapped these ear pieces, it connected our minds and I liked it. We couldn't lie to each other and we always knew how the other one felt. I think it's really helped us become as close as a couple that's been together years." Josh said, "Even now, I can feel her mind going like clockwork, trying to figure out a riddle I told her. If I think about it, I can see her sitting in our room and can hear the hum of the ship from her ears."
"What about privacy? Even couples as close as yourselves must want privacy." The Captain said.
"We live without it. It's actually quite nice to know how she feels all the time." Susan said.
"All the time?" The Captain asked with a blush.
"Oh...well...yea. Even then too." Josh said, understanding her meaning.
"That must be...quite an experience..." The Captain said quietly, looking away.
Josh stayed quiet for a moment, mildly uncomfortable by the Captain's comment.
"But...yea...we're pretty happy together." Josh said, breaking the tension.
"Hey Josh...can I ask you to do something?" The Captain said.
"Of course." Josh nodded.
"Can you and Susan come to my quarters tonight?" The Captain asked, seemingly nervous.
"Sure. That's not a problem." Josh shrugged.
