Kurt stared at Zack's hand for a couple of seconds before he smirked, a new smirk without any of the malice it carried before, one that looked oddly like his cousin's smirk. He then took the younger guy's hand in his own and shook it firmly, thus forging a previously impossible friendship.
§§§===§§§
Despite his newfound friendship with Kurt, Zack wasn't able to convince the older guy to have lunch with the rest of the group. Kurt thought that until the others warmed up to him, it was best that he avoided getting in their way.
After lunch was eaten and the dishes were cleaned, Zack found himself sitting outside on the deck in the company of Brandon and Gavin, whose foot had already gotten better again. They started chatting about the things Zack and Gavin saw in the wilderness until the topic of conversation switched to the girls in their group.
"I gotta admit," Brandon said after Gavin told him about liking Chloe. "That at some point I thought that Chloe would end up with Zack."
"You're not the first one," Zack said grimly, remembering the times when his aunts, cousins and even his own mother nagged him to ask Chloe out. He scrunched up his face. "Yuck, for me it would be like dating Taylor."
"Even I did sometimes." Gavin admitted, before he looked at Zack. "And I wasn't completely honest with you this morning, I kissed Chloe last night."
It was a lie, but Gavin thought that it was best if he didn't tell them the whole truth, that what he really had kissed the night before was Chloe's pussy lips, feasting on it like it was a banquet from the gods. Still, he desperately wanted to share some progress with his friends, even if it was a half-truth.
"You dog," Zack laughed along with Brandon. "How did it happened, did Chloe let you kiss her?"
"It happened when she saw you with Lisa," Gavin answered, causing Zack to shut up and Brandon to raise an eyebrow. "I think she was so shocked that she didn't push me away."
"She saw me with Lisa?!" Zack asked in a panicked tone. He groaned and covered his face with his hands. "Oh my god, I'll never be able to look her in the face again!"
Brandon held up his finger with a grin. "Oh, we'll get back to you and Lisa in a moment, don't you worry," He said before he turned to Gavin. "That's cool, man, it was just a kiss or something else happened?"
Gavin shook his head. "Nope, we just kissed and she left. We didn't even talk about it since then."
"In that case, I strongly suggest you to go talk to her, dude," Brandon advised as Gavin hanged to his every word. "You have to know how she feels about the whole thing, you know, without communication everything's doomed to fail."
Zack wondered if Brandon was talking from experience. He recalled how his friend was upset two days ago at the waterfall, seemingly sure that Ashley would break up with him.
"Now," Brandon turned his head in Zack's direction. "What's this about you and Lisa?"
Zack sighed and glanced at the wooden floor of the deck, wondering how much he would tell his friends. His story with Lisa became a complicated one after their latest romp, but he figured that if he told Kurt what happened, then he had to tell his closest male friends.
"Short story," Zack said. "We had sex, I found out she still has feelings for me and I ended up having to turn her down," He recounted before putting on a fake smile. "But hey, everything's fine 'cause she forgave me."
"Wow, that wasn't a smart move, pal," Brandon chimed in. "She must really like you, though, to forgive you like that."
Zack grimaced. "I know, that's why I'm feeling guilty," He admitted. "And horny as well." He added mentally, his cock twitching at the memory of Lisa's curvy, naked body bouncing on his dick.
"You shouldn't worry too much about it," Gavin opined. "If Lisa said she forgave you, then she really did. She's not one to lie about important things."
Zack then turned his attention to Brandon, he was worried about his friend. "So, what about you?" He asked. "Did you patch things up with Ashley?"
The athlete shook his head, grimly. "Nope, and I think it got worse," He answered. "Let's say I'm expecting my marching orders anytime now."
Gavin raised an eyebrow, he didn't know that Brandon and Ashley were having problems. He was genuinely surprised, their relationship always seemed to be a very solid one. The young geek always admired them as a couple. "Guess that trouble can arise even in the most unexpected place."
"It's really weird to think of you two as not together anymore." Zack commented.
After that, the conversation moved into lighter topics until Gavin let out a huge yawn and announced that he wanted to go take a nap. Brandon got up.
"C'mon, I'll help you get inside." He said.
"I appreciate the help, but I can walk on my own, Brandon, really." Gavin claimed as he stood up as well.
"Gavin, a moment," Zack walked over to his friend and, sticking his hand into the pocket of his jeans, he fished out Gavin's phone and handed it over to him. "I thought you'd like it back, Kurt said that he left a gift for you there."
Both Gavin and Brandon looked strangely at Zack at the friendly mention of Kurt, but they decided against saying anything. "I'll take a look at it later, now I just want to sleep for a couple hours." Gavin said instead, and then he and Brandon started walking back to the interior of the cabin.
As the two of them passed through the double doors, Ashley was coming out and a longing look was exchanged between her and Brandon.
Zack couldn't help but admire his friend's girlfriend, her long, straight blonde hair flying behind her head and her blue eyes staring at him. She was wearing a white sleeveless shirt, jeans and a pair of white sandals. His dick strained in his pants as his mind got flashes of her in more intimate situations, such as the time when he and Victoria spied on her riding Brandon's cock from the doorway of their room and the other occasion when he and Heather discovered the blonde masturbating to them at the cave behind the waterfall. As she walked towards him, Zack was suddenly reminded of her older sister Hannah, his old crush before Victoria. Look wise, Ashley was becoming a lot like her.
Ashley stopped in front of him, snapping him out of his thoughts. "Hey, Zack," She said, her right hand rubbing her left arm. "Can we talk for a moment?"
Zack frowned, wondering why she wanted to talk to him in private. "Sure," He gestured to a couple of chairs around a small circular table. "Let's sit there by the rail."

A pair of green eyes glanced at the rearview mirror of his car and its owner grinned before looking back at the road. Peter Zander missed his old high school friends, even now at twenty-one and just a little more than a year shy of graduating at college, he still tried to do everything in his power to reunite the old gang whenever he was back at Azure Rocks. Sure, sometimes there was one or two of them that wasn't in town, such as his best friend Will, who decided to stay at the town he currently lived to study during that week of Spring Break.
"Such a shame that other places don't have two weeks of Spring Break like Azure Rocks," He lamented, before he sneaked another glance at the backseat through the rearview mirror. "At least Hannah was able to come."
Beautiful, blue-eyed Hannah Woodsen, her long golden hair cascaded around her head and down to a few inches past her shoulders. Three years ago, Peter and Hannah dated briefly during their senior year, but she broke up with him after a few weeks, claiming that it wasn't working and that she saw him only as a friend. Despite being heartbroken, Peter saw no other way but accept her decision, however, he could never fully let go of his feelings for her, this being the reason that his subsequent relationships didn't work out.
Hannah was sitting between two other girls. At her left, staring at the passing scenery through the open window was Taylor Bishop, Hannah's best friend. With long, wavy dark brown hair that went down to the middle of her back and sparkling blue eyes, Taylor was the kindest of them all. She and Peter always did school projects together when they were in high school and she was the one who helped him get back on his feet after the break up with Hannah, cheering him on.
At Hannah's right was sitting Kendra Mackenzie, the geek of the group. Her hair was long, straight and brown, the same color of her eyes. When they were in high school, Kendra was always short tempered, often snapping at others for no reason. That changed a little when she started dating Shawn Lewis, she became a bit more carefree and amiable after that. Their relationship lasted through all senior year and ended when they decided to break up before going to college. Unlike Hannah and Taylor, who were twenty-one, Kendra was still twenty, her birthday coming up in a couple of weeks.
Squeezed at Kendra's right, looking bored as hell, was Shawn Lewis. Leaning his short, messy mop of black hair against the window, his dark brown eyes were almost closed. Shawn always had been one of those guys who had a problem of inflated ego, he was so full of himself that Peter could never consider him too much of a friend, he was very surprised when Kendra started dating the guy. Shawn's family moved out of Azure Rocks about seven months ago, so this was the first time he was coming back to visit his hometown, all of his other breaks having been spent at where his family currently lived.
Finally, at Peter's right, travelling on the passenger's seat was their last minute addition, Shawn's younger brother, Dustin. According to Shawn, his nineteen year old brother went berserk when he heard that his older brother was coming to visit Azure Rocks and begged to come along. From what Peter was able to gather, Dustin had an ex-girlfriend that he wanted to visit in town and, when he went to her house, he was told by the girl's parents that she had gone with her friends to a cabin around the Silver Lake area, causing him to beg again to Shawn to take him to the lake with him and his friends.
"Very convenient," Peter chuckled mentally. "Maybe he won't have too much trouble finding her."
He was so lost inside his memories of the past that Peter almost missed a turn on the road. Glad that he came to his senses in time, he drove for a few more minutes before the cabin they had rented came into view.
"Cool," Hannah said, sticking her head between the two front seats. "We're finally here!"
"Dammit, Hannah," Kendra complained. "We're already squeezed back here without you jumping around."
"Sorry." The blonde apologized, sheepishly.
The movement caused by her sitting down again made Shawn stir on his seat, stopping him from falling asleep. "What happened?" He asked, a little drowsily.
"We've arrived." Kendra replied.
"Great, I was almost falling asleep here." Shawn rubbed his eyes.
"This place sure is gorgeous." Taylor commented in her trademark raspy voice as Peter parked the car in front of the cabin.
"Ok," He said cheerfully. "Let's see how it is from inside?"
There were nods and shouts of approval before they got out of the car and Peter, Taylor and Dustin started getting everyone's suitcases and bags from the trunk. Soon, the six of them were standing in front of the large two-story wooden cabin.
It had been built on a slope, so the entrance was at the upper floor, with the lower one being accessible only from the inside. Peter fished the keys out of his pocket and walked over to the door, unlocking it.
When he opened it up, the other five climbed up on the porch and stepped into the cabin with him. The interior of the cabin was just as awesome as the exterior, in Peter's opinion.
It had a large living room in front of a huge glass door that led to an outdoor deck. At the main room, a number of sofas and stuffed chairs formed a semi-circle around a fireplace and a TV mounted on the wall. A bear rug lied on the floor in front of the fireplace and a wooden coffee table was beside it. Behind the couches there was a big dining table with ten chairs around it.
"The ceiling is quite high, isn't it?" Taylor chimed in once all of them were inside.
"Yeah," Peter agreed. "We couldn't see it from outside, but look," He pointed to the right side of the cabin, behind the dining table. "They've built a second floor over those rooms."
Indeed, like Peter had pointed out, at the right side there was a hallway between two doors and a stairway led to an area above it, where there were two other doors.
"Those must be the bedrooms, but there are only four doors there," Kendra supposed, sidling up to Peter. "Didn't you say that there were six bedrooms?"
"There's more there," Shawn pointed out to the left side of the cabin. "Those must be the smaller rooms, though. I won't sleep there."
"We'll see it later," Peter said. "But you're right, those are the remaining bedrooms."
The area Shawn had pointed was a short hallway to the left of the fireplace, where two closed doors flanked a third door, which was opened to reveal a bathroom. Peter supposed the other two bathrooms were located inside the bigger rooms.
"All that's missing is the kitchen," Taylor piped in. "It must be behind that door." She nodded in the direction of a closed door to the right of the fireplace.
"That not all that's missing," Kendra objected. "How do we get to that room below us? We all saw it from the outside."
"It's in here." Dustin called out from the right hallway.
The others walked over to him while he pointed out to the stairway. The flight of stairs that led to the upper bedrooms was the same that connected the main floor to the lower one. Hannah was the first to go down the stairs to check it out.
A huge grin grew on her face when she laid her eyes on what was there. "Nice!"
"What is it?" Taylor appeared behind her and peeked over the blonde's shoulder. "Oh, god, no!"
The lower floor consisted basically of a single room with a pool table on the middle of it and a black leather couch by one of the walls. The floor was covered by beige carpet while the walls were made of wood like the rest of the cabin. A big window on the far wall provided a beautiful view of the lake and the area around it.
"I'll have so much fun beating all of you on this." Hannah gloated, grinning at her friends.
"If you find someone willing to play against you, you mean?" Taylor asked, sarcastically.
Behind all of them, Shawn cleared his throat. "I hate to be a party-pooper, guys," He said, in a tone that clearly said that he meant to be just that. "But don't you think that we have to decide about the bedrooms now?"
"Yes, Shawn," Taylor droned. "Let's see about the bedrooms now."
"Good," He smirked, turning his back on the rest and going back up the stairs. "´Cause I already chose mine."
"Hey, we were supposed to decide everything together!" Taylor tried to call his attention but a hand on her shoulder made the brunette stop.
She turned back and Hannah shook her head at her. "Leave him be, we all know how Shawn can be."
Dustin scratched the back of his neck. "Sorry about my brother," He apologized. "He's been known to pull stunts like that from time to time."
"Don't we know it?" Kendra mumbled.
They climbed back up the stairs to the main floor and noticed that Shawn had taken possession of the bedroom beside the stairway, one of the two that had a bathroom inside.
"Okay," Hannah trailed. "We have three of the bigger rooms left and the two smaller ones, how are we doing this?"
"It's easy for me," Peter answered, sidling up to Dustin. "I'm sure Dustin here won't mind my idea, but I was thinking you girls can take the bigger ones and the two of us can take the other two."
Taylor chuckled. "Why did I have a feeling you'd suggest that?" She asked, an amused smile at the corner of her lips.
Dustin shrugged. "I don't mind."
Hannah leaned in to Kendra's ear. "I think you've dated the wrong brother." She whispered, earning an angry swat on the arm from the geek.
"Well, I guess that settles it then," Taylor said. "Now we just have to decide amongst ourselves who gets the other bathroom."
Peter nodded. "C'mon, Dustin, let's go take a look at our bedrooms." He prompted, leading his friend's younger brother to the other side of the cabin.
§§§===§§§
A few minutes later, Peter finished putting the last of his clothes into the dresser. His room was a simpler one, compared to the ones taken by Shawn and the girls, but he liked it. It had two single beds, nightstands, a dresser and a desk with a chair.
He then sat on the bed he chose and chuckled nervously. He was happy to see his old friends again, even if Will wasn't able to come. The image of Hannah flashed in his mind again, like it had for that entire day.
"Two and a half days aren't enough," He mused. "I'll never be able to get her back."
However, Peter wasn't one to give up easily. His feelings for the blonde still burned strongly inside him and he wouldn't give up without at least trying. He was willing to take anything that he could get, even if it meant a long distance relationship.
§§§===§§§
At her designated bedroom, the one above Hannah's, Taylor had just finished unpacking as well. Her room had a double bed, two nightstands, a wardrobe and a desk with a chair. She sat on the bed's edge for a moment and admired the lake through the open window. From there, she could see the cabin her little brother was staying as well. There seemed to be three boys at the deck, whom she recognized as Zack and his two friends Gavin Westher and Brandon Cole.
The blue-eyed brunette then proceeded to remove the clothes she had used on the trip, after deciding to put on some more comfortable clothes. She caught sight of her lingerie-clad body on the mirror mounted on the wardrobe's doors and smiled briefly, her medium-sized breasts were as perky as ever and the curve of her butt was flawless. Her smooth milky skin was dotted by some freckles in the area of chest and a few fainter ones along her arms and nose. The powder blue color of her lacy bra and panties matched her eyes perfectly.
"Not that anyone will see it, though." Taylor sighed as she retrieved from the wardrobe the clothes she wanted to wear, a black short-sleeved blouse, a pair of blue jeans and black flip-flops.
She was glad that none of her friends were dating someone at the moment, otherwise she imagined she would be a little jealous. Taylor had reached a phase where the occasional hook-ups and short term relationships weren't enough anymore, she wanted a serious boyfriend, someone she could bring home and introduce to her family. However, the brunette beauty was extremely picky when it came to potential boyfriends, as she didn't want to get herself involved with just anyone.
When she finished putting on the change of clothes she had picked, Taylor decided to go check what Hannah was doing. As she went down the stairs, her best friend was exiting her own room, located directly below Taylor's one. Hannah had changed her clothes too, opting for a white tank top over a black sports bra which did a fine job of supporting her large breasts, a pair of dark blue jeans and white sandals.
"Tay, the bathroom in there is awesome." The blonde said when she saw her brunette friend walking over to her.
"That's good to know," Taylor replied. "Just don't forget that the two of us are supposed to share your bathroom."
"I didn't," Hannah grinned before she looked at the double doors at the living room. She turned back to Taylor. "C'mon, let's go see the deck."
