I was devastated. I just sat there and sobbed. My life was over. I was never going to be with the love of my life.
"Oh God, oh God, why me?" I murmured to myself over and over and over. Marty got up and brought me a box of tissues and then left me alone to cry. When I looked up minutes later I saw him in the kitchen surrounded by his friends, the little Asian woman had her head on his shoulder. Now I understood what they meant when Mandy and Adrianna told me he had moved on. I was the past and his new Asian girlfriend was his future. I sat and cried until the daylight started to fade.
I composed myself enough to walk through the kitchen and go to the bathroom. I did my face again and put on a brave demeanor before going out. Everybody was standing in the living room talking to Marty. When he saw me he held out an envelope. "This is your part of the sale of the condo and I wrote the URL of the video on the back."
Just like that it was over. My hopes of getting him back were gone. Also gone was the last shred of my self-respect. I had to start my life over but without him.
Marty walked me out to my car. I held his hand one last time and softly said goodbye as I kissed the cheek of the man that I loved, yet destroyed. I opened the car door and stood there for a moment wondering if I had the courage to look back at him one last time. I found enough to turn my head. What I saw ended my life. Marty was standing on the curb with his arm around the waist of the little Asian woman and hers was around his. All in a line behind him were Mandy and Adrianna and the tall redheaded man and the frightening girl with all the piercings. Each one of them had their hand out in front of them with their middle finger extended upward. The message was loud and clear. 'Fuck off!'
Now I totally understood Marty's pain.
The End.

Out of everything she did to him
Including gangbangs, talking to him on the phone, while getting fucked in the ass, telling him she loved him, while sucking another guy's cock, laughing at him with her lovers,etc.... the one thing he gets hung up on, the one thing (according to him) that prevented him from taking her back, was that she stuck her middle finger up at the phone, while he was on the other end? Seriously? She got fingered, gave blowjobs, got eaten out, had vaginal and anal sex, sometimes all at once, ALL while on the phone to him, and the ONLY thing that bothered him all that time was being flipped the bird? He had better stay off the freeway for the rest of his life, if that's the case, because the average person gets flipped off at least once a week on their way to or from work! Talk about misplaced priorities. Hell, even friends stick their fingers up at each other as a joke greeting! And THAT is what he gets hung up on? Get a life, buddy! Why do people get so highly offended at all the insignificant little things, yet are so willing to let the big things slide?
And then, a year later, she tells him that she 'Didn't mean to disrespect him', when she gave him the one finger salute! What did she think she was doing when her fuck buddies were turning her into a pin-cushion on a daily basis?more...
Just one more..
Its spat not spit... Very good story 5*
Strong ending to a good story
Congrats. Four out of five. I liked the search for her ex. I liked his team coming to his aid. I liked her confession and self examination. But I needed a little more colour during their conversations on the porch. The straight expository isn't enough. What were they wearing? What were their hands doing? Was she shaking? Was he shaking? Were cars driving up and down the street? Was the wind blowing? All those details would have placed the two main characters in a living world. Did Marty argue with one of his friends while she was in the bathroom and she could partially over hear it? I hope you take this as constructive criticism. I really did like the story. Lastly, I just didn't buy him giving her the finger at the end. I don't think he would sink to her level. He and his new girlfriend should have been standing on the porch arm in arm while the rest of his team gave her the finger. Keep writing and good luck.more...
Actuall overall this is a sad story.
My recommendation
@ Old Marin Vet I recommend to read Harry In Va comment. I and Harry do not like each other, but his comment to discuss with gathorhermit is the long answer to mine.
