They ran the scan and as he suspected she had one over the center of her head. But none in her arm. Doctor Trose looked over, "What happened?"

He looked over, "Pain receptor test. Starting just above the bottom rib and run it down to her knee both sides and then from the indentation on her rib cage on down. To just above her pelvic bone." She got a scalpel. "He is asking me to check you for pain."

She nodded, "I heard. I know why."

She felt it until just below the rib cage. She actually smiled and got wet from the next set. Until the Doctor got halfway to the knee she felt pain again. She did the other leg the same way. He noticed that her pussy was literally dripping wet. She only got a few centimeters off down the center before she did not feel any pain and her pussy was like a river.

He looked at her, "Good news, she will never feel pain from sex or childbirth. Bad news she will never feel if she is injured in that area. Medical restriction. After every away mission you have to be checked out for any breaks or injuries you could not feel. Any bullet holes you might have taken. You simply feel pleasure from it."

She sighed, "I get it, all pain gone is not necessarily the best idea."

Rocan nodded, "The other good news is you are probably the only one who could have sex with me and get me to submit. Doubtful. We probably would just be going at it for days until we had something to do."

He looked over, "You can get dressed after your treatment is done. She looked over, "Rocan yours is done. She will be a few minutes longer. He thought out, * Justice Incarnate, has that request ever come in from a human and been granted? *

He heard back, * No. Unusual but the DNA felt she had her reasons and complied with the request. About 3% went to doing just those receptors and switched them to all pleasure. The other 5% went to mental. *

He thought to Wira, *Stop by medical when you get a chance. *

She had just gotten dressed with Wira knocked on the door, "Unseal medical." The door opened, "What is going on?"

He pointed at her image. She looked at it, "Like Doctor Trose?"

Dr. Trose shook her head, "No she killed all of her pain receptors from here to here; they appear to have been turned into pleasure receptors or they were shut off. My guess it the first."

She looked at her, "Why would..."

Rocan shook his head, * Raped by age 12. Anally only. She probably did not even feel her hymen break. At least any pain. She might have climaxed from it. *

Wira's eyes went big and she looked at her, "Big changes girl. Is she a red blade?" She flipped it on. Wira nodded, as she read the name.

She smiled, "I know always a Marine."

Rocan thought to her, * Marine. You got a lot to learn, starting with talking in your head to someone. *

She looked at him, * Really? I was already told by Frei who told me you are concerned for me. *

He thought back, * Yes, you just wished the pain away. You did not face it. I am concerned you will have a hard time helping yourself come to grips with that part of your past. Anything ever happens and you are captured and raped.

You would never feel anything but climaxes from it. Some pain is a good idea. We cannot change it now but you do need to address that issue with a doctor. Dr. Trose or Ariel. Take your pick. Both will keep it between you. *

She rolled her eyes as he walked out and back to his room. He thought out, * Damn it to hell. Did I screw something up? *

He heard from Justice Incarnate, * You are worried about emotional scars she has and what-if situations. She now thinks you are mad at her. This was her choice and the DNA allowed it. *

He thought back * Then the DNA was a fool. I know what pain is like and I do not want anyone living in pain but it does serve a purpose. At least to us organics, it should let us know when we are injured. Are the Drakor going to tell her every time she is injured or near death because she cannot feel it? *

He heard back, * The decision was not yours. *

He thought back, * Like hell it wasn't. I chose her. Aurora, get her back to my room. *

He sat down at his desk and waited for her to arrive. She had been crying and he got up and hugged her, "I am not mad at you. I am mad at myself. I feel I put you into an impossible situation and you felt the only way through it was not to ever feel pain from it. I am blaming myself for putting that pressure on you. I am not mad at you."

He pulled up his file photo from before he became a hybrid, "I would wish that to happen to nobody." She nodded as he held his hand over her stomach and tickled her and she laughed. He looked at her, "I just worried I pushed you too fast and drove you to that decision."

She shook her head, "I had that on my mind ever since talking with Doctor Trose about the changes she did. Something different. We do get together and talk when you are not around."

He sighed, "What did she say?"

She shook her head, "Doctor-patient."

He sighed, "She agreed with you then."

She sighed, "She said it was my choice and the DNA let me do it. It could not have been wrong."

He thought back out to Justice Incarnate, * Has the DNA ever been wrong? Are you infallible? I was told to question everything. *

He heard back, * Focus on the task ahead and not on the things you cannot change. *

She looked at him strangely. "You look upset again."

He nodded, "This time it is with the Drakor."

---

Over the next 6 days, he brought Deb (Lover's Shield), Emma (Artisan Protector), and then Kinna in, just in case Kinna was a blue blade. She was not, she was 'Justice for All.' He had 4 purple blades with Kinna added, 2 more blue blades with Deb and Emma. He finally had to have 'The meeting.'

He looked over, "Aurora, shutoff your syncs and power down Bora before coming down."

She nodded and walked back and took care of it. He looked at all of the ladies, "Kinna and Emma will have to wait outside the far bulkhead. I want the area between my room and the bulkhead taken vacuum."

She nodded, "Done."

He looked across at the ladies, "6 of us make up the hybrid Eternal Council, 7 would be the Home Guard Eternal Council with Aurora. The 8th is our lawyer and likely replacement if one of us dies in the Justice line."

She looked over, "Don't go dying on me."

He looked across, "Everyone here going to live forever? The first order of business. The other 4 council members, red and blue, need to review the files of the candidates and find us 12 more hybrids, three from each of you. We are far ahead on justice hybrids from what Aurora has told me. We should be running at 15-16%.

Aurora, I want the next group of 12 after this is done by existing members who are not on the Eternal Councils. They all have to be approved by the council though. All hybrid applications have to be approved by the group in this room. If the 6 of us are gone, heading to the colony then Wira you have the say-so in our stead.

Aurora, I want names and blade colors. My days of having sex with other hybrids are over for a while. I do not want to get attached to more ladies I will have to replace in 200 years. From Wira on down with who we have. We need to keep a balance between red and blue blades.

Something else I have gathered because of events that transpired in the previous timeline. I want to discuss this image though. This image is not to be discussed with anyone outside of this room. The force that destroyed this system. This includes wives or significant others."

He paused, "This will take a 7 out of 7 votes to unlock and it should not be unlocked for 324 years or discussed after this meeting unless something catastrophic happens. Get all of your questions out now. That force is millennia old. Over 4 millennia that we have confirmed and that was the 'last contact', not the first. It is an ancient enemy of the Drakor. They thought they were extinct because they have not been seen since some ancient battle.

They were wrong. They covet this metal not because it is explosive. They covet it because it can be used to make AIs. In their case AIs that are psychopathic megalomaniac AIs with no moral code. Other than to consume and kill any organics who have control or place morals on an AI as they ARE only AIs.

Any organic without AIs is left alone unless this metal can be found in which case organics are irrelevant. This system had no AIs of its own. Every alien race wanted this system to...Create AIs with a lack of a moral code. Military bots who would follow orders and kill whomever their masters told them to kill. Militaries; Red blades mostly if you will. The Home Guards' Moral Code could not be applied here at that time because it is and was a penal colony.

The wayward souls who turned their backs on the Drakor's gifts and maintaining a balance in life. This part Aurora will have to remove again. But I had questions. How long does it take you to sync with your backup?"

She looked over, ".5 to 1 second."

He nodded, "You installed a chip into yourself to do a check every 2 seconds. A princess AI chip like you suggested for the satellites. Inside your power cores. What happens if they bring down your morals just before you sync and then the princess is attacked?"

She looked over, "They have next to no defenses. I would need to adjust that chip to require a morals check before sync. Apply it to every bot isolate each life on the servers inside virtual servers. No way out. Then remove it from memory again. What got you thinking about that?"

He pointed at the picture. He sighed, "It took Sentinels to bring us back in time, to train our people on all of this technology, and to save our people. How trusting would they have been if I said those were AIs that destroyed our system?"

Brena laughed, "Not at all trusting. I understand now why you kept that restricted. Also, why you have such a small population set for them at 1%. What do we do in 324 years?"

He looked at her, "We remind them it took our Sentinels to suggest bringing us back, another to act upon it, thousands to train our people, and even more to set and build the traps we will be building over the next 300 years. Let alone the new colonies without the poison they are living in.

These are the heroes. Our Sentinel heroes who have stood by for 3 centuries and got our people to safety. As long as the 7 of us remain. I want that file sealed. You have a whole new group you will playback from your memory logs of this event to the new council.

We need the people to trust our Sentinels to save us from that ONE collectively fucked up piece of garbage. Put in there recording has to be off, your backup has to be offline. And remove the entire discussion on your princess AI's so you won't have to deal with that again. Keep it for yourself only if you feel that is safe."

She nodded, "Understood."

Deb looked over, "I cannot tell my wife?"

He looked over, "Not unless she is on the council. Then you would have to take her out in a shuttle with all recording off in vacuum and tell her telepathically. Failure to comply with this request is tantamount to not having the best interest of the Penan people first.

If things go as you plan, neither of you will be here in 324 years. If that holds true it does not matter for her or you. I was obligated to bring it to the 6 council members. I told Wira because she might be the head justice in this system while we are gone getting a colony to the next world. Working with the Sentinels here. She has to ensure the red and blue blades stay in balance. She has to know why that is important."

Wira looked over, "Why is it important?"

He looked at her, "How many generals and admirals have fallen to corruption over the years? How often has the military tried a coup on the sitting government? They are the red blades and they are needed in the Home Guard. That piece is required, but they have to be balanced with the blue blades.

They have to put the good of the race before their own desires for power. Not ahead of that. Most who go rogue from the Home Guard are red blades. Across species. Fact. That was why I was very selective in who my red blade leaders were.

What I wanted for my red blade leaders to be; one for the ground and one for space. Aurora knew this fact and factored it into the review process. That was why for a couple of you; we sought you out. You had not applied. Both red and blue blades."

Wira held up her hand, "I just needed to understand. Keeping them balanced is important. But if you're not having sex with them to confirm blade color, who is?"

He smiled at her, "Take a guess. Most will be women. Some of them can test the male candidates with one of the other ladies or the first two male candidates. They do not have to get pregnant from the candidate but they will have to get pregnant somehow.

Here is the deal; red blade leaders will evaluate blue blades. Blue blades will evaluate red blades. Purple blades can come from either pile of candidates. Lawyers are a good example of those who gravitate toward that balance. Some are red because they crave power. Some are blue because they want the law to protect people.

We have gone from 2 to 9 hybrids. We need to expand those numbers. We have 12 more to get from the council and I will help with those ladies. The next 6 hybrids; which you are a part of Wira, Will have to generate up the lists for evaluation, with Aurora and which blade you think they will likely fall under. Remember, we thought you might have been a red blade. You turned out to be a zealot of justice.

Wira looked at Rocan, "Why are you doing this to me?"

He smiled, "Because if I am escorting a colony then what justice is going to be here to act in my stead to ensure things remain in balance?"

She nodded, "Alright, I get that I guess."

He smiled at her, "Have to be willing to procreate. Only women on women and male on male candidates need to know how they intend to satisfy that requirement. How many hybrid requests do you have?"

Aurora looked over, 314,562. He looked at them, "We are looking for the 1 in a thousand candidate." He looked over, "Male candidates only?"

She sighed, "74,237."

He looked over, "For them, you are looking at 1 out of every 2,900. 25 males, 267 more females. To stay in balance with our people. Those numbers will shift over time. How is the crew integration going on the destroyer?"

She rolled her eyes, "Not great. We have had about a 30% percent rejection rate so far as they do now want to be working for Sentinels. They wanted Sentinels to work for them. I am modifying the algorithms. The biggest excuse was they expected hybrids to be leading this effort. We sent them back to the planet. Some have been on talk shows about the Sentinel being in charge of things."

He nodded, "Get me connected into one of those. Did we have any more questions on the goals here?"

Vivian looked over, "There are still things you are not telling us."

He nodded, "Things we learned about. Things that we were made aware of that are revelations that are not ours to share. We had to make them known to explain why we jumped back in time. They would be harder to explain now to those who were not there.

Other races had spent hundreds to thousands of years building their Home Guards. Why was the rest of our race or even just our Home Guard allowed to 'known it' for 3 centuries before they were informed?

We have not even finished our final graduation yet. How would you feel if your favorite vid shows started with the cliffhanger at the beginning of each season and then you had to watch the season to know what the cliffhanger was all about?

Then you had to spend 7-10 seasons to see it get to that final moment for the reveal at the end to find out it was in the first episode of the entire show. It just did not make sense to you seeing it out of order. It is huge news and not our news.

There is a time for this reveal and it is to teach valuable lessons to trillions of people. By the time this threat is down. Those that survive will know it. Those that do not; will not care. It will have no impact on their lives to know about some future intrigue that they will never see."

She sighed and nodded, "Not our secret, not ours to tell. Better to keep it in the dark. I guess I understand that."

He looked at her, "If we did not need it to justify why we came back we would not have told those in this timeline we met about those details. It was needed to plan and eliminate this enemy who attacked us with surprise and stealth. We will not take their surrender."

Vivian nodded, "Understood. Thank you for putting it in a manner a dumb marine would know."

He shook his head. "You are not dumb, but you have a lot to learn. We all do. That is what Aurora is working to help us with. We are cramming for exams. A years' worth of mathematical computational studies in one night. That is why we need to rest every night we can. Any more questions on that subject?"

They all shook their heads. He sighed, "I know it sounds like I am trying to override everyone. This is a council and I expect to hear different opinions. This is just something from my past. From Freia's past. This will become a part of our future.

I had to tell you about this as the initial council if you will, so you understood why we have no hope of saving this system or those who refuse to adapt. We save those who will go and go because they believe it is the right thing to do.

Speaking of the right thing to do. All council members are granted access to deck 6. As well as Emma. That is where we have alien technology to look at trying to reverse engineer. Some of it might be more art than science. That is why Emma. Wira, you are busy enough."

She nodded, "I know it. Thank you for giving your lawyers a break with that."

She smiled at him. While the ladies chuckled at her comment. He stood and one by one they all came up and hugged him

He thought to them * I just bared my heart, concerns, and fears to you all so we now share them. I expect if you have those you will bring them to me or the council as a whole. *

They looked at him and nodded their understanding of what he was doing. He ensured they were all united in this given goal.

Aurora got him hooked into one of the talk shows that had 3 men and 3 women who had been sent on their way. He called in and the host wanted to bring him into the discussion. He appeared on the screen and she looked at him, "I don't know how much you have heard but these are some of the crew who went to the destroyer you had and got sent back because of the Sentinel being in charge. No hybrids."

He nodded, "Hybrids will be around 300 in 3 locations. To move one of the dreadnaught class ships will take 100 or more hybrids to do through a wormhole drive. If I have to have that many on a ship to send it; that means the other ships have to be under the command of Penans and Sentinels.

Now before you ask why none of these people were asked to lead, I am going to ask you all to go home this evening. Give the keys to your POV and gun cabinets where you store your firearms and give them to all children. 10 years and younger. What would you tell me about making that recommendation?"

She looked at Rocan, "That you would have to be crazy."

He nodded, "Those ships have advanced propulsion and weapons. Thousands of years more advanced than our people can currently understand. Why would I not leave the adult supervision of those items? The Sentinels are teaching the hybrids just as much as they are teaching you.

We are getting it from a firehose to see how much of it sticks. I do not go down to engineering and change the engine settings; tweak the inertial dampeners, or recalibrate the guns.
