Ava and the Cocky Jock

"You have got to be the best team mom...ever!"

She smiled and shook her head. "Just don't go bragging on me to the rest of the team. I don't want them to get jealous." She put her bra and shirt back on and got out of the car as Mike zipped up.

A few minutes later they were driving up the parking attendant's booth and then through the exit. They listened to the radio and not saying much. Neither of them knew where this relationship was going to go from here. Ava suspected that after the season, she probably wouldn't see him again, at least until next spring. At the same time, Mike was trying to calculate his next move to get Ava into bed.
