I shrugged at the question. "I've done three without problems." The look of surprise told me exactly how much that astounded her. "Barely felt a drain on my powers. So... We'll see? My demon can do some, and I'm pretty sure my angel can as well."
"A-angel?" Evelyn asked, her voice quaking. I slowly nodded. "Won't ask, got it. Look for my call."
I downed the rest of my whiskey then transported myself back home. We had a lot of things to prepare for, and a lot of information to sort through. I called Lazuli first and told her I needed to see her as soon as she could get away and that it was urgent. We laid all laid down to get some sleep.
As tired as I was, it took me a bit longer to get to sleep. My three enslaved beings pressed against me, protecting my dreams, forced me to wonder. Faces of fear as I entered the fray, the anger I felt, the wrath that controlled me. My power, the power I've taken for granted for too long, scared me. What I could do. The prophecy. All of it was piling up. I laid on my back, an angel to one side, a demon on the other, a human near my feet. Their presences were comforting, but compared to the weight of the world... It took me longer to get to sleep.

Anonymousabout 4 years agoYou'd asked for requests in 10, and I thought of 2. I like the misdirection approach some of the antagonists have used. And the reality warping powers emptied by time stopping and teleportation combined with the create and destroy vision temple made me wonder if we'd get any Multiverse type action. Like having sex to save reality while a visible yet intangible parallel of yourself fights to destroy reality. Orgy vs holocaust whosever passion is strongest decides the fate of the universe.
