Sarah was the picture of health walking the length of the board. She was tanned and walked erect even as she began to turn around on the end of the board.
Coach Hart continued, "Don't struggle with this. Just jump in the water if you can't do it." The coach was leaning forward in his folding chair on the side of the pool. He had a worried expression.
"Alright Coach," said Sarah. She hesitated as she turned, holding her hands out from her body. But she was able to turn her back to the water and position her feet on the end of the board.
Coach Hart could not contain his concern, "Be careful not to slip on the board."
Sarah continued without replying. She raised her hands over her head and looked up.
"Whatever you do, don't fall forward!" cautioned the coach. A couple of students snickered at his Mother-Hen behavior.
Sarah leaned backward to the point of falling. Then to everyone's surprise she bent her knees and jumped.
The entire class gasped. Even a simple fall off the board was too much for her.
Sarah's relaxed body arced through the air. When she rotated far enough she reached for the water, easily making the back dive. As her upper body disappeared below the surface she was able to actually point her toes.
Coach Hart sat motionless as the class broke into applause and catcalls. Sarah swam to the side as Janet yelled, "I didn't know you had it in you!"
But Coach Hart was clearly embarrassed. He had been overly concerned and he felt a little foolish. The class turned to look for his reaction.
Without turning in his chair, Coach Hart raised his voice and called out, "Sullivan, you're up there on the balcony aren't you."
"Yeah Coach," came a deep voice from above.
"You've been teaching this girl, haven't you?"
"Yeah Coach, how did you know?" replied Sullivan.
"Not only did she do a back dive, but she even pointed her toes." Coach Hart turned to Sarah. "Good job girl! You get an 'A'."

For all you anatomy "experts" the hymen is not in the same place for every female.
This is FICTION not a medical lesson.
Her hymen could be in her backside in this story if that is what the author wanted. Such is the poetic license of fictional authors!!
AND some women do not have one at all!
Great story, despite those perfect authors who live to be critics.
If you need that level of technical correctness, pay for an edited book.
Anonymousabout 5 years agoThis has been a fun read, nicely romantic. Like others who have commented, the hymen is at the opening of the vagina and she had already lost that. The one thing that seemed “over the top” was Sullivan purchasing contraceptive foam for his soon to be lover. He showed her no respect by purchasing something she may not like or want to use. He also told her that birth control was NOT his responsibility! What a dolt! Buy a box of condoms, you idiot!!
Stubbyoneover 6 years agoEven though there wasn't much "real" sex in this story, the foreplay between several characters, was out of this world. You captured the essence of sexual buildup that eventually leads to amazing orgasms. Incredibly well done. You may have used their names a few too many times for me, when he/she would have sufficed, but that's more picky than necessary. Great job! I loved it.😊
Anonymousalmost 13 years agoAll of this is very educational concerning the location of a hymen. I thought the location in the story was being measured in relation to the guy's dick. So for you guys with a big dick, it's right at the entrance. For us little-dicked guys, it seems like it's halfway in there!
BTW, Sarah had said she didn't have a hymen anymore. I think Sullivan was just stretching through a tight spot, not through a hymen.
Oh yeah, I enjoyed the story. The swimming and diving brought back old memories. There were some funny spots. And the beginning and ending were especially nice.
Jensensloveralmost 13 years agoScurvydog, it doesn't 'depend on the girl' as to where their hymen is. Considering I'm female and know where it is located and the majority of men have no freaking idea of female anatomy I'm not surprised yet another male writer or another male commenting on it knows where it is.
