Battle for Earth Ch. 10

"You, tiny human man, we're you responsible for the disappearance of my kind?"

"W-What? I woke up to this world just like you did. I had nothing to do with this."

"You're lying!" she yelled at him.

Karev ran as her hair and eyes glowing bright white, from her living flowing hair arcs of lighting were formed, and lighting fired at him. With the grace of God, he avoided being struck by the burning blinding bolt of lighting by the skin of his teeth. With the clap of her hands, the giantess created an earth shattering thunder clap that sent him tumbling forward. The earth beneath his feet cracked and was flung upwards in chunks.

"I am not your enemy! I am not!!" Karev yelled at her with all of his might and all of the air in his lungs.

Arcs of lighting stretched forward from her hair and chased after Karev, striking him on his back, the bolt of lighting was hot, but did not kill him. He ran back towards his barracks to grab a weapon. The giantess needed not run after him. Walking would suffice for her. Each step she took, the ground beneath her shook slightly. The soldier went into the armory inside of his barracks and grabbed a GP-33 grenade launcher filled with tear gas used for training in dealing with angry protests. The giantess tore through the front of the barracks like butter, walking casually through room and tearing through the walls and doors.

With a quick wave of her hand, the giantess produced snapping and crackling arcs of lightning that destroyed one room after another that she stepped into. Karev finished loading tear gas grenades into his grenade launcher and fired at her. He had equipped himself with a full face piece respirator mask to keep from breathing in the debilitating gas. Upon contact with armor, the grenade exploded, filling the barracks instantaneously with tear gas that filled every room, nook and cranny. At first the gas seemed to have no effect on the giantess, which alarmed the soldier who reloaded another grenade into his weapon. He fired off two more, except this time she started to cough violently and fell down on one knee.

The glowing in her hair and eyes had vanished and only more coughing filled the room. With a pained groan, the giant woman fell on her hands and knees. She continued to crawl towards the Russian soldier, he stepped back to keep away from her grasp as she reached out in front of her to grab him. Stepping back outside of the barracks, he fired another round at her directly on her face. That was the last tear gas grenade she could take before finally collapsing.

Coming back to the present, Valina opened her eyes and saw Karev with a towel around his waist.

"Are you coming with me to the hot spring beneath the Kremlin, love?" Karev asked her.

She smiled mischievously at him and got up from the floor. She went over to him and yanked the towel away from his body and told him,

"Do not hide what belongs to me, just like I do not hide what is yours, tiny husband."

"Husband?"

"Yes, Husband, and I will be your wife. I can feel life stirring inside of me."

"What will our first born child be like, Valina? Will they be taller than me and shorter than you? Will they have powers like you? What are they going to look like?"

"I don't know husband, but I feel its burning spirit, men have burning spirits, the men of my kind."

"So its a boy? I hope he wont kill me."

Valina laughed and picked him up and placed him on top of her shoulders, where they left for the hot spring beneath their home.
