"Never again." Charlie promised. "I'll never let us be apart again."
"You better not." Miley said, "I can't take it when we're not together."
Charlie leaned down and kissed Miley, their lips lingering for a while as they embraced. "That was fun tonight, with Brian and Stacy. It's just like last summer, the four of us hanging out all the time."
"Yeah." Miley agreed, kissing Charlie's cheek and moving towards the kitchen. "Except now those two are dating. Who could have predicted that one?"
As Miley was reaching to open the fridge, she felt her cell phone buzzing against her hip. Digging into her pocket, she answered "Hello?"
"Miley... oh my god." came Stacy's voice on the other end, she was clearly upset and sounded like she was in tears.
"Stacy what is it?" Miley asked in a worried tone. "Are you okay?"
Charlie looked towards Miley, concerned.
"The clinic called while we were in the movie and left a voicemail." Stacy said. "Miley... I'm pregnant."
