Courtney Kandel couldn't help but be excited about tonight. She would not only get to see Anthony all dressed up and looking amazing, but the dress she had bought for the wedding was smoking hot. She tingled in anticipation just thinking of Anthony's eyes following her around the reception.

Courtney and Allison had been best friends their entire lives. They had gone all the way from grade school to high school together. They had even applied to the same colleges hoping to matriculate together. Together, they helped each other graduate from the same college and both found jobs near Sacramento together. They trusted each other and loved each other like sisters.

This afternoon both Courtney and Allison were attending the wedding of a mutual friend with the reception following tonight. Courtney was single at the moment, but Allison was bringing her boyfriend, Anthony.

Allison started dating Anthony about a year ago. From the first moment she met Anthony, Courtney had harbored an enormous crush on Anthony. He was not fat, but stocky, with just the right amount of meat on his chest. He was almost six feet tall with blonde hair. She knew right away that she was attracted to him, but it was simply attraction. It took her a while to admit that she actually had a crush on him. Of course, she would never do anything to hurt Allison, but she could secretly delight if the two of them ever separated. There was no harm in that, right?

Allison Finley worked as an Associate Editor of a magazine based in Sacramento. Also at the magazine was Chad Tarven, the food critic. Allison was attracted to Chad, but had only been able to get to know him a little bit because he was often out doing critiques in town or elsewhere in the state. He was a somewhat abrasive, yet very charismatic man who was hardly ever in the office, so when the Christmas party rolled around and Chad confirmed he was going to be there, Allison became very excited.

The Christmas party came and Chad brought with him his brother Anthony. Allison tried all night to gain Chad's attention, but only succeeded in attracting Anthony. After finally breaking down and conversing with Anthony, she realized that he was very charming. Actually, he was pretty attractive, too. They went on their first date a few weeks later and hit it off pretty well.

Allison never forgot about Chad, though, and jumped on any excuse she could to invite her boyfriend's brother along with them when they went out. Birthdays, group events, sports outings, or anything that could remotely be considered not too "date-like."

Allison was both surprised and heartbroken when Anthony got the invitation to Chad's wedding. She had no idea that Chad was even seeing anyone. She found that she was glad she was dating someone (even if it was Chad's brother) so that could try and forget her infatuation with a great deal of sex, which was always really great with Anthony. She was also glad that Chad had met Courtney because now her best friend would be with her at the wedding. Maybe her boyfriend and her best friend would keep her from crying too much.

Courtney took her time getting dressed. She wanted to look amazing. She wanted to dance and strut and tease Anthony, but she couldn't do it outright. She wanted Anthony to want her, but she didn't want him to know she wanted him. She also didn't want anyone else to know of her quiet attraction. Of course, she would never do anything to hurt Allison, but the thought of Anthony masturbating and thinking of her got her very wet. She definitely thought of him when she was alone and touching herself.

The plan was for Courtney to ride with Allison and Anthony to the wedding. Once Courtney was finally satisfied with her appearance, she got in her car and drove to Allison's house.

Allison was very frustrated. Her hair wouldn't lay down the way she wanted it to. Her makeup was running and showing up more brightly on her face than it ever had in her life. She had picked out a beautiful and classy, yet very sexy dress, but she couldn't get the lint off of it and it was wrinkled. She skipped lunch, so she was hungry, and she was developing a very bad headache. Above everything else, Anthony was being a fucking asshole and not helping her at all.

"Anthony, Jesus Christ!" Allison couldn't help but yell at him. If he would just help her, things would go so much more smoothly. "You've been ready for an hour and I look like shit! Will you please iron my fucking dress?"

Anthony walked into the bedroom looking very exhausted. "Babe, you look beautiful. Why are you still messing with your hair?" He looked at the dress on the hanger on the door. "Your dress isn't wrinkled at all. I guess I could give it a once over with the lint roller, but it hardly needs that."

"You guess? Jesus, just do it! I'm trying to prevent walking into the church looking like I just rolled out of bed. I really need your help. Will you please just fucking help me and stop bitching about everything?"

Anthony put his hand on her shoulder. "Yeah, babe. I'll run the lint roller over your dress. Just try and calm down. You look so beautiful. You really have nothing to worry about."

Allison put her hand on his. His hand was always such a comfort. It felt good. Allison actually managed to calm down a little. "Thanks, honey. Thanks for helping me out. I'll stop shouting at you. I just want to have some fun tonight."

Anthony smiled at her and kissed her on the head.

The doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," Anthony said as he left the room.

Allison sighed in frustration at her messed up hair and the fact that she had to run the lint roller herself now.

Courtney felt her panties moisten a little when Anthony opened the door. He looked better than she imagined he would in his black suit. His white dress shirt had the top two buttons unbuttoned. His neck looked so inviting.

"Hi Anthony!" Courtney smiled at him.

Anthony smiled back. "Hey there, Courtney." They hugged. "Come on in." She did and he closed the door behind her. "Allison is upstairs getting dressed. I think she's a little stressed. We don't really do anything fancy very often."

"Oh, she's just being a girl. You should have seen me when I was getting ready." She wished he really was there before she had gotten dressed. "I'll go help her out. We'll be down soon, I'm sure." She smiled at him again and went to go find her friend.

Allison smiled when Courtney walked into the room. Allison really loved her best friend and they were always happy when they were together. It also just so happened that Courtney could make anyone smile. She was so beautiful. She had soft black hair that was parted off center and fell just past her shoulders. Her skin was perfectly pale and smooth. Her breasts were larger than Allison's, as any man would tell you. She was wearing a black dress tonight with little straps that fell to just above her knees. Allison was not insecure with herself, but Courtney could make anyone jealous.

"Hey slut," Allison said. That was their relationship. Friendly ribbing over a mountain of friendship.

Courtney smiled back. "Hey bitch."

"Will you help me out? Anthony is being so uncooperative. He won't do anything I ask him to. He just keeps telling me how beautiful I am and how I don't need to fix anything at all."

"Poor baby!" Courtney's reply was sarcastic. "How awful for you to have a great guy who tells you how beautiful you are."

"Yeah, well, I still need help." Allison smiled. "Will you please help me?"

"Of course. What do you need?"

Courtney walked into the Reception Hall by herself. Anthony was in the wedding party, so Allison had to sit near the front, which also meant that Courtney had been all by herself during the ceremony. It worked out well, though, because Courtney just stared at Anthony the whole damn time and daydreamed. It was a lengthy ceremony. Courtney almost had to go to the restroom a few times to relieve the tingling and moisture. Eventually, the bride and groom kissed and everyone was invited to the Reception next door.

Searching for Allison, Courtney wandered for a few minutes before she saw her friend across the room and started making her way over.

Allison looked beautiful, Courtney had to admit. Long and flowing strapless red dress with fantastic matching pumps. Perky and envious breasts. Beautifully tanned, silky smooth skin. Dirty blonde hair that fell straight to her shoulders. A smile that would melt anyone's heart. Courtney really was lucky to have such a beautiful woman as her best friend.

Standing with Allison was Anthony. Immediately, the tingling and moisture returned. Courtney had another small daydream as she made her way across the room.

Allison was still looking for Chad when Courtney came walking up.

"Hi guys!" Courtney smiled really big. She hugged Allison and Anthony and then stood next to Allison. "What's going on?"

Allison met her friend's smile with one of her own. "I'm looking for the bride and groom. I want to congratulate them while the night is young." She was scanning the crowd. The bride was here, but Chad was nowhere to be seen.

"Wow, it is night, isn't it?" Courtney sounded amused. "That was a long ceremony." Where was he? Shouldn't he be at his own reception? Isn't this kind of rude?

"You're telling me. I had to stand the whole time. At least you girls got to sit down!" Anthony and Courtney both laughed.

Allison was getting frustrated. "Do you guys see them? They should be here."

"There's the bride right there," Anthony pointed out. "I don't see Chad, though. Dumb bastard isn't showing up to his own reception."

Allison sighed. "I know, right? How rude! He should be here!"

Anthony looked at her. "Damn, babe. I was just joking. I'm sure he'll be here. Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Allison looked at Courtney and Anthony, who were both looking at her. "I'm going to go congratulate the bride and then see if I can't find the groom. Maybe he's sick? Post wedding bugs or something."

"I'm sure he's ok, Al," Courtney said. "Stay with us and have some fun."

Allison tried to force a laugh. She wasn't sure if it was convincing or not. "I'll be right back, guys. Geez."

"Alright, babe," Anthony seemed contented. "We'll be around."

Allison kissed her boyfriend and walked off.

Courtney watched her friend walk away. "I wonder if she's genuinely concerned for the groom's welfare or if she's just stressing still."

"I don't know," Anthony looked concerned. "She's been really tense for the past couple of weeks. I'm beginning to wonder if she's not happy with me anymore."

As much as Courtney would have loved to think that Allison might be breaking up with Anthony soon, the two friends spoke often and Courtney knew that Allison loved Anthony very much, as often from her directly saying it as the way she spoke of him. "I'm sure she's just stressed, Anthony."

"I don't know. It's really depressing." Anthony seemed very upset at the thought of losing his girlfriend.

"Come on, cheer up! I'm Allison's best friend. Don't you think I'd know if she were unhappy with you?"

"Yeah, I guess so. That doesn't mean you'd say anything to me about it, though."

"Well, while I AM sworn to secrecy with Allison's secrets, I don't think I could bear to see you get hurt, Anthony." Wow. That might have been going a little too far. Better back it up. "You're a nice guy and nice guys do NOT deserve to be hurt." Anthony smiled a little at that, but still looked a little distant. "Seriously, it's your brother's wedding! Have some fun!"

Anthony looked at her and smiled a little bit more. Her knees buckled. She might have to go to the restroom, anyway. "Thanks, Courtney. You're a good friend. I'll try to loosen up a little. I'll be back, ok?"

Courtney was crestfallen. Back? She didn't want him to leave. "Oh. Yeah ok."

"See you later." Anthony walked off.

Allison walked right out of the room without saying anything to anyone. Where was Chad? She hated that he was getting married, but the son of a bitch could at least stick around to celebrate like a normal person.

The Reception Hall behind her, Allison made her way to the chapel. The lights were still on, but no one was in there. Where could he have gone?

From the other side of the room came a faint cough. Allison went towards it.

Chad was backstage behind some partitions. He had short red hair, freckles, and a muscular frame. He was sitting by himself and smoking a joint.

"What are you doing back here?" Allison probably shouldn't have been so annoyed, but she couldn't imagine why he was back here doing this when he should have been in there doing that.

Chad pulled her down beside him. "Be quiet! Did anyone else see you come in here?"

"No. I came looking for you alone." Allison was starting to calm down a bit. "Why the hell are you in here smoking weed when your reception is next door with everyone you know?"

Chad laughed. "What does it look like I'm doing?" Allison just looked at him. "Look, I know I should be happy to be getting married, but it's kind of a difficult situation. I just wanted to relieve some tension before going in there. Is that so bad?"

Difficult situation? Allison suddenly forgot all about the reception and wanted him to talk a lot more. "No. I guess not, but what will people think?"

"It really doesn't matter what people think."

"You amaze me."

"Really?" He looked at her and smiled a sly smile. "Why is that?"

"You're just you. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. You are who you are and that's that."

"Why is that amazing?" He turned toward her.

"No one else is like that in the whole world! It's amazing! You're amazing! And unique! And gorgeous!" She stopped. She knew she had gone too far. She knew her face must be bright red. Chad was staring at her. She got up to leave.

Before she could move hardly at all, Chad's face was pressed against hers, kissing her. Before she could process what was going on, his tongue had found its way into her mouth. Before she knew what she was doing, her tongue had found its way into his mouth.

After she stopped caring, she liked it.

She pulled him back onto her. He fell easily between her legs. Her hands were holding his head while their tongues danced ferociously. His hands were pushing her skirt up to her waist. She kept one hand on his head, but used the other one to undo his belt and pants button, then unzipped his pants. With one hand, he massaged her breast and with the other one he grabbed her panties and ripped them off. She pushed him pants and boxers down and then grabbed his cock. It felt amazing.

Somewhere in her head, Allison knew that what she was doing was wrong. She knew that she had Anthony and she knew that she was in a church and she knew that Chad was married. This was all in the back of her head.

It tried to work its way up, but knowing that Chad was married only seemed to turn her on more. Knowing that Anthony would probably have his fingers inside of her later after Chad had his in her now only turned her on more. Knowing that more often than anyone else, a Reverend would stand not ten feet from where she was laying on the stairs of a stage under some married man while her boyfriend was in the next room nearly made her orgasm.

Maybe it was whatever Chad was doing with his fingers.

Allison couldn't take it anymore. She grabbed both of his hands and put them on her ass, and then she grabbed his cock and put it right on her opening. "Chad. I want you."

"Then take me," he said. "Let's relieve some stress." With that, she pulled him into her and the she screamed with pleasure.

No one was around to hear.

Courtney had found the bar after Anthony left. He had never come back and she was utterly disappointed. She lost count of how many shots she had after six or so. It's not that she can't count past six. It's more that, in between her shots she was downing a fair amount of white wine. She was sitting at some table and using her half-empty glass to hold her head off the table when Allison came up to her.

"Hey slut," Allison said as she sat down. "Looks like you've had a few drinks."

Courtney spoke but didn't use any real words.

"Ok, I think you've had enough. How about I find you some water, hm?" Allison handed her a basket of bread rolls. "Here, eat this until I can find you some water. Where's Anthony?"

Courtney leaned back and grabbed a bread roll. She stuck it in her mouth and looked at Allison.

Allison laughed. "Ok, no more questions for you. I'll be right back with some water."

Allison knew she should feel bad about what happened, but she didn't. No one would ever know, first off. Second, it would never happen again. Allison was just heartbroken over his Chad's new marriage and Chad was just stressed about being married. That situation would never come up again. Allison would just be with Anthony and that was that. Actually, she was pretty lucky. Anthony was a pretty wonderful guy.

Allison alternated bringing water to the very drunk Courtney and making laps to try and find Anthony. Eventually, she spotted him coming out of the restroom and went over to him. His face was all red like he had been crying. Anthony saw her when she walked up and smiled a little, but still looked on the edge of tears.

"Hey babe. How's your night?" Anthony was trying to sound pleasant, but failing pretty miserably. His question also made her think of the unforgettable sex in the chapel, which made her a little horny again.

"It's going ok. I finally found your brother. He's with his new wife now. Are you ok? What's wrong, sweetie?"

"I'm fine. Especially now that you're here. I love you very much." His smile was starting to seem genuine.

Allison laughed. "I love you, too, honey. You know that." Anthony finally smiled for real. "Listen, sweetie, Courtney's really drunk. You look like you've been through hell, too. Why don't we go ahead and leave?"

"Courtney's drunk?"

"Yeah. I guess she'll stay in the guest room. I was hoping to be loud tonight, but she's so drunk, I doubt she'll notice." Anthony definitely smiled that time.

Her head spinning, Courtney lay in bed and listened to Allison and Anthony have very loud sex probably twenty feet away in the next room. They had been together for a long time now and they probably had sex a lot, but Courtney never actually heard it. Good thing, too. This was making her sicker at her stomach than the alcohol.

Frustrated, drunk, wide awake, and with very wet panties, Courtney got up and went downstairs. She wasn't wearing her dress anymore. She had found one of Allison's night shirts and so it was just that and panties.

It was dark in the house, so when the lights in the refrigerator came on she had to blink a few times. Not that there was anything to see. Apparently Allison needed to go grocery shopping. Courtney grabbed a bottle of water and went to sit on the couch and play a game on her phone.

Allison came for the fifth time tonight. This was only the first with Anthony, but that was ok. The sex was still amazing. Not quite as amazing as her little time on the stairs, but still amazing. Enough to keep her satisfied for the rest of her life.

Anthony rolled over and tried to catch his breath. Allison rolled over and breathed contentedly. She fell asleep feeling very good about things. For the first time since she had been with Anthony, she was happy to fall asleep next to him and no one else. She had finally gotten over her infatuation.

Allison slept great that night.

"Oh. I'm sorry," Anthony said when he got downstairs. "I didn't know you were awake."

Courtney was still on the couch. She had seen him come downstairs in his underwear. Her eyes adjusted to the dark, she could see him clearly. She liked what she saw.
