Bigrig Ch. 08

"About what?" he was just before ripping the beard off, it was itching so badly.

"Leave that alone..." Tony reached back grasping his wrist. "Putchyer hand down. It could alert someone to you." He suggested.

Jonathan put his hand down, sitting on both to keep from clawing at the disguise.

"I'll put somethin' on it, when I take it off to relieve that." the man informed him.

Greg made turn after turn, while Tony and Jonathan conversed. It appeared the disguise had worked. Or the hitman had gone back to the uncle's where abouts.

They finally made it to the apartment unscathed, where they unloaded Jonathan closing all of the drapes, as they went in.

"Please, get this off me..." Jonathan pleaded softly, afraid to say so too loudly.

Tony took him to the bedroom, where he sat him down beginning to peel the imitation facial hair off him briskly. He used a cold cream to remove the remaining glue and make-up, which soothed the youth's irritation almost immediately. Then he applied a salve that would completely relieve the rash that had begun to develop.

"Keep this on that for the next few days. And keep yer hands off the rash." Tony advised.

"Sure..." Jonathan took the tiny tube from him looking up, as the man began to remove his make-up. "Thanks for savin' my life, Tony." He muttered.

"Oh, it ain't over yet, kid..." The man glanced over at him, then went back to the removal process.

"I know... I just thought I should thank you for tonight." Jonathan looked down at the tube he now toyed with in his fingers. "I actually doubted you could pull it off."

"Oh?" Tony half turned to him grinning.

"Yeah...I was wrong." He looked back up at the man seriously.

"It's good to see yer man enough to admit it." The man still grinned at him, then went back to his work...
