Bite Me!

"Man! Where are we gonna find some chicks here in Hooterville?" Todd took a drag from his Marlboro, gazed out the window into the night, and sulked.

Brad looked in the rearview mirror at Todd, "Hey! Quit your crabbing, the rent is free and so are the groceries. My old lady didn't agree to furnish you with some action, too."

"This place isn't exactly crawling with women," Casey added, raising his eyebrows at Brad.

"Hey Tommy! Are you listening to Walt and Wendy Whiner?" Brad said.

Tommy gave Brad the finger. "Hey Bradley? If you tell a joke, people expect a punch-line; if you take them to Florida for spring break, they expect a little female action. I don't know about anyone else, but I damn sure didn't come this far to be a milk & water sissy for two weeks."

"Yeh, the only female I've seen is Sam Drucker's mother at the general store," said Todd.

"At least she sold you some beer!" said Brad, "You look about thirteen. Maybe that's why the women avoid you. I'm sure I'm right!"

Brad got the finger again.

The boys headed down State Highway 52 towards Bay City, 35 miles away. Tommy looked out the window, "Nothing but cows and oranges."

Five miles from Odessa they passed a car parked on the shoulder of the road, its emergency flashers blinking. A blonde in a short skirt stood outside, staring at a flat tire.

"Mmm, not bad, a little ripe, but not bad," said Todd.

"Legs up to her ass, I'd do her!" Tommy leered.

"Let's go back," suggested Casey.

"Everyone be cool and maybe we can make something of this opportunity. Let me handle it," Brad said, as he slowed the Lincoln and made the u-turn.

He parked across the highway from the blonde's Sebring. Brad rolled down his window, "Got a problem?"

"I ran over something, I think," she said. She watched the guys as they piled out of the Lincoln. A full moon rose above the horizon.

"Got a cell phone?" Todd asked.

"I can't raise a signal," she replied.

Casey took out his phone and tried it. "Nothing!" His phone wouldn't work, either. The guys looked at each other.

"Got a spare?" Tommy asked.

"A what? Gee, I don't know; it's a rental." She said.

"A spare tire," he replied.

"Open the trunk and let's see," Brad said.

The blonde got in the driver's seat and pulled the trunk release. The trunk lid popped up.

"Nothing in the tire well," said Todd.

"Any luck?" she shouted back, looking at them in the side-view mirror.

"Not good," said Todd, as he slammed the trunk-lid shut.

Brad looked at the blonde, "Got any suggestions?"

"I have a friend who lives close by, if I could impose on you guys for a ride there, they have a phone, and I could call AAA."

The guys looked at each other, smiling.

"Yeh, sure," said Brad.

The blonde got her bag, locked the car, and climbed in the back seat of the Lincoln with Todd and Tommy. Brad and Casey got in the front and Brad started up the Lincoln.

"Okay, where to?" Brad asked.

"If you'll turn around, it's about 2 miles up the highway," she said.

Brad gunned the Lincoln and pulled onto the road. In about 3 minutes the blonde instructed him to make a left at a bank of mail-boxes. Brad flipped the turn signal on, slowed, and made the turn onto a gravel road.

The blonde leaned forward, laid her arms on the top of the front seat, and moved towards Brad.

"It's not too far ahead," she said.

The road snaked through dense woods and a swamp; the trees were heavy laden with Spanish moss that cast eerie shadows by the moon's silver glow. They passed two deer grazing on the shoulder, bathed in moonlight.

"Wow! This place is like something out of a horror flick," Tommy said.

"I know," the blonde smiled.

"How much further?" Brad asked.

"Not far," the blonde replied. "See where the road forks around the oaks?"

"Yeh," Brad said.

"The drive is just on the other side of those trees, go slow or you'll miss it."

Brad tapped the brakes and crept along.

"There!" she said, pointing to a dirt trail through the palmetto scrub. "The house is about 100 yards up the drive." She leaned forward and pressed her chest against the front seat.

Brad passed the turn and continued driving down the gravel road.

"You missed the turn," she said.

Brad turned his head to look at the blonde.

"I know!" He winked at her, then smiled at Casey.

"I think you should stop and let me out," she demanded.

"And risk something happening to you? I couldn't live with myself! Besides, I'd like to get to know you better," Brad smirked.

The rest of the guys laughed. Brad drove to the end of the road and parked in a grove of trees. He cut the engine and turned around to look at the blonde.

"Why don't you be nice and let me out before something happens you'll regret," she said.

"Why don't you bite me?" Brad smirked at the blonde, and smiled at Casey. The other guys snickered as he turned his head to look at her and snaked his tongue out close to her face.

The blonde smiled, lowered her head to his, and sunk her teeth into his tongue until they closed together. Blood erupted from Brad's mouth and drizzled from his chin onto his shirt.

She pulled her mouth away, blood dripping off her lips and chin; she spit out a hunk of meat from her mouth. Then she growled and lunged at Casey. Tommy tried to pull her off Casey but she dug her steel-hard nails into his package. "You won't be needing this," was the last thing he heard her say.
