Time to see if I could salvage the condition. Get the situation under control. So I tried to pacify him. "OK Vince I understand. I do not like it but I understand. I guess it is too much to ask after all we have been thru. But I do not want to lose what I have with you and the boys. Please let's just keep on the same. Let's just keep it simple."

Vince paused before answering and I held my breath.

"OK Lisa-Works for me."

I let out a high sigh of relief. I got off the bed and started to walk to the bathroom. Turning to say something to Vince I saw he was staring at my behind with a look of lust.

"Vince." I gave him a sly smile and he looked up at my face. "I still reserve the right to ambush you in the shower."

++++++++

Will Vince and I every get back together? Not like we used to be. However I am happy with how my life is. I got a boost to my self-esteem when one of my old instructors asked me out on a date. I got that old thrill for a moment that another's attention used to give me. It passed quickly, and I gracefully talked my way out of the invitation. There was no way I was going to risk what I had-been there done that! I am closer to my boys and nephews then I have ever been. I am at every one of their events-both school and sport. I even stay overnight when I wish. Vince and I get together o make love or have sex when we feel the need. My life is on an even keel, and has four great boys, a man in my life, even a faithful dog. What could be better in my life than that?

This was real comedy gold! Brandy and Lisa should take their double act out on tour and bring the house down wherever they go. I don't buy this bi polar BS being spewed forth either. Not saying that it isn't a real condition because it absolutely is but what we have here is reprehensible behaviour masquerading as a mental health issue. He didn't say no so he must have meant yes? Get out of town!

Like numerous comments, I did not see how the bi-polar made her think he agreed with her dating another man. I saw nothing in the conversation to give any indication of any kind of acceptance to her arguments. A plot need a conflict, but felt it was pulling a rabbit out of the hat.

This story gave me a couple of good laughs!! That always gets 5 stars from me. THANKS 😊

She was a serious bipolar who somehow hid for years. Worse during her mania she was disassociative to the extreme. Twisting everything to what she wanted and then after the cluster bleep in their front yard and the assault frame job and restraining order she inverted everything into he broke some agreement, while her somehow forgetting to forsake all others (stricter than cheating). She wad a head case and never got it through her head what she did wrong. Of course he did some nasty btb sh$t as well. The shotgun was nuts but was how he got his kids. They both fell out of love for each other. He because she left with Randy, and she because she was convinced he reneged on their deal and then she knew she was setup. In chapter 3 as time goes by she has changed a lot. She regrets all her actions, admits that she cheated (even with oral and handjob) and has unrequited feelings for Vince even after the kids left the house. At the end the best she can ever have with Vince is FWB. Sad. 5 stars.

Good story. Not only is she bipolar (manic - depressive) but she only hears what she wants to hear and thought that Vince welcomed on their "deal", which was total crap. Of course she would be pissed with his getting beaten up hoax but she turned to pure hatred and didn't have any remorse. She never apologized. She thought she was the wronged party and could only plot revenge until the fateful night of the shooting. This chapter actually casts her in a worse light than the first chapter. Amazing because is from her perspective. Yes she has real mental issues, but she was obsessed that Vince broke a deal that he in fact NEVER agreed to. She clearly was dissociative and that yet her corrupted memories lead her to abject hatred and her love for Vicne dues (his already died when she walked out). Yes he shows her mercy and compassion, but her screwed her life up for having not only a bad bipolar episode but after his first btb salvo, she had a mental breakdown, leading to her confrontation breaking the restraining order and getting shot.

Ironically chapter 3 shows thatbshe has come to grips with things, laments wholeheartedly what she did, and wishes to be more than FWB, but will never get past that position. Feel sorry for her because of her mental illness but then feel sorry for Vince that she went off the reservation. She misconstrued everything he said before she walked out and he lost all.love for her. Crazy but good story arc. She certainly had a psychotic break there for a while. Sad.
