Elena put her hand on my chest. "You remind me I am worth more. Thank you." And then she leaned in and kissed me on the cheek. There was that smell of roses again, and a celestial chorus in my head. "You are... a good man."
I walked out of room 4 with her scent in my nostrils and my head in the clouds. Amy had to call my name twice to stop me on the way out; I almost floated past her without scheduling my next appointment. Six months was going to seem like forever.
I had a lot of flossing to do till then.

gotraneabout 8 years agoHot story! Even a "Ch. 01" designation. Yet, so long without a follow-up. If nothing else so we could see if the "Doc" had Elena do any "fillings"!
