Breaking Through The Ice Ch. 07

After another moment, Drew couldn't stop himself. Mina felt the shudder go through him and laughed with giddy ecstasy as he started to pump into her with abandon. He pressed his face to her neck and she felt every unsteady breath against her skin as he thrust harder and faster.

Without warning, stars exploded behind her eyelids and she arched off the bed with a cry as she came around him. He let out a growl and lifted himself off of her. Mina turned her head and stared up at him with blurry eyes as he braced his arms on either side of her head. She saw the wicked gleam in his eyes in the dying light of the room and felt the frantic pulse of his heart against her palm where she pressed it to his throat. Then he threw his head back and thrust deep one last time before coming hard inside of her.

His body continued to move inside of her until he settled over her with a shuddering sigh. Mina smiled and turned her head to kiss his shoulder and neck and wherever else she could reach him. Drew lifted his head and smoothed a palm over her hair, pushing it back from her face. Mina grinned, wondering how frantic her hair must look now. Drew cocked an eyebrow at her expression and kissed the grin from her face.

They didn't speak as they untangled their limbs and settled into an embrace together. They wriggled and moved until Drew managed to pull the bedcovers over their sweat-dampened bodies. Mina didn't know what she'd expected following their lovemaking but as she felt his body relaxing beside hers, she decided sleep would do.
